| Race 1 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C0 - 318 | FANTASTIC RICKI (2) was last to leave the boxes then made contact with the hindquarters of JUMP UP (3) soon after. SCOTT NO SHOW (6) and MR. FUSS POT (7) came together soon after the start with both runners briefly unbalanced with SCOTT NO SHOW then shifting in making contact with UNO MARCUS (4). MR. FUSS POT then shifted in racing down the back straight taking SCOTT NO SHOW in onto UNO MARCUS with SCOTT NO SHOW then shifting out across the heels of MR. FUSS POT losing ground. DRUNKEN LADY (1) and FANTASTIC RICKI came together on several occasions racing down the back straight with DRUNKEN LADY losing ground entering the first turn. DRUNKEN LADY then shifted out off heels making solid contact with the hindquarters of MR. FUSS POT who was unbalanced with DRUNKEN LADY continuing to shift out into the line of UNO MARCUS and SCOTT NO SHOW with these runners all hampered losing ground. HOT STAR (5) and FABRELEE (8) came together rounding the bend and again early in the final straight. |
| Race 2 | Plasterboard Ltd Sprint - C1 - 318 | SIMPLY SAM was presented with a 1.1kg increase in weight from its previous start on 10 March 2016 with the connections advising this was an intentional weight increase. THAT ICE COLD (3) was very slow away losing considerable ground. MAKING YOU PAW (4) and JUST ABOUT READY (5) came together soon after the start and jostled racing down the back straight with these runners then shifting out making contact with OPAWA UNO (6). These three runners then continued to make contact entering the first turn with these runners then further hampered when SCOTT NO ODDS (8) angled in making contact with these runners with MAKING YOU PAW and JUST ABOUT READY losing ground and shifting wide on the track. SCREAMING SKULL (7) raced wide throughout. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C4 - 318 | SOMETIME SOON (7) shifted in soon after the start making contact with FESTIVAL MISS (6) who was tightened coming together with NO MORE DEBT (5) losing ground with NO MORE DEBT making contact with ATOONGA AIR (4). Entering the first turn SOMETIME SOON, NO MORE DEBT, ATOONGA AIR and ROCKIN' FANCY (2) all came together with these runners all unbalanced with ROCKIN' FANCY and ATOONGA AIR losing considerable ground. FRESCO STAR (1) made brief contact with the hindquarters of ANIU (3) entering the first turn. Rounding the bend NO MORE DEBT made contact with the running rail becoming unbalanced shifting out losing ground. A Post race veterinary examination of NO MORE DEBT revealed a laceration to the left hind leg with a 14 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 4 | Carol's TAB Manurewa Stakes - C2 - 527 | WHAT THAT DOES (9) was slow away. MOCKINGJAY (7) and CRYING IN VEGAS (7) came together for several strides soon after the start. Entering the first turn THRILLING RIOT (2) came together with BORIS GUMP (1) becoming unbalanced with THRILLING RIOT then shifting out off heels and into the line of MOCKINGJAY who was checked losing ground. Rounding the first turn CRYING IN VEGAS was tightened shifting out off the heels of GLOBAL CONQUEST (8) losing ground. At the same time BORIS GUMP and MOCKINGJAY came together with these runners tightening ELECTRIC IMPULSE (4) who had to steady. Soon after MOCKINGJAY improved onto the heels of BORIS GUMP with both runners briefly unbalanced losing ground. ZIPPING SASHA underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed pain in the right wrist with a 14 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 5 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C1 - 318 | ATOMIC RUSH was a late scratching at 10.53am on veterinary advice. ILLICIT TWIST (6) and BOTANY BEV (5) came together on several occasion soon after the start with these runners then further inconvenienced when PREOCCUPIED (7) shifted in with these runners losing ground with BOTANY BEV then having to shift out off the heels of PREOCCUPIED. BOTANY BEV then raced wide for the remainder of the event. ILLICIT TWIST was referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 6 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C3 - 527 | OPAWA KURU (3) shifted in entering the first turn coming together with COOL MARLOW (1) who was placed in restricted room making contact with the running rail losing ground. OPAWA KURU then shifted out to race wide for the remainder of the event. A Post race veterinary examination of COOL MARLOW revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 7 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C3 - 318 | MELMAN (1) and BIG JAMESY (7) were slow away. Soon after the start CALAMITY FREE (5) shifted in dictating NIPPO (4) in inconveniencing SKYLER WHITE (3) who lost ground. NIPPO then continued to shift in into the line of LITTLE RASCAL (9) and MELMAN who both shifted out making contact with the hindquarters of NIPPO with these runners all unbalanced. MELMAN then continued to shift out racing toward the first turn taking LITTLE RASCAL out onto SKYLER WHITE with these runners all unbalanced losing ground. Inconvenienced as a result was LITTLE RASCAL who had to take evasive action shifting wider on the track losing ground. NIPPO shifted out entering the final straight inconveniencing NEED MAGIC who was taken wider. |
| Race 8 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C1 - 318 | COOKIE MONSTER (5), WEE PING WAWA (6) and SAVED BY LOVE (8) were last to leave the boxes. ASTA (3) and SKINNY ANKLES (4) came together soon after the start and continued to make contact racing down the back straight with these runners then shifting in entering the first turn into the line of UNO NATHAN (1) who shifted out into the line of COOKIE MONSTER with UNO NATHAN and COOKIE MONSTER both unbalanced losing ground. Also inconvenienced losing ground was WEE PING WAWA when UNO NATHAN shifted out making contact with this runner. WEE PING WAWA and QUEEN STAR (7) came together in the final straight. UNO NATHAN was referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 9 | Greyhound Function Centre Series Heat 1 - C1q - 527 Heat 1 | LUCKY COLLECT (5) was last to leave the boxes and was then further inconvenienced when FOREVER IRIS (6) shifted in taking this runner in onto the hindquarters of SCOTT THE LOOKS (4) with LUCKY COLLECT and FOREVER IRIS losing ground. As a result SCOTT THE LOOKS was taken in making contact with BILL RUSH (3) who shifted in making brief contact with CONTEMPORANEOUS. Racing toward the first turn SCOTT THE LOOKS shifted in into the line of BILL RUSH who shifted out across this runners heels into the line of LUCKY COLLECT who got on this runners heels for a stride with these runners losing ground. Entering the first turn RUBY MURRAY (8) angled in into the line of SCOTT THE LOOKS and CONTEMPORANEOUS who were both checked having to shift out. RUBY MURRAY then continued to shift in rounding the first turn inconveniencing PODIUM BONUS (1). FOREVER IRIS raced wide losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Greyhound Function Centre Series Heat 2 - C1q - 527 Heat 2 | ZOE'S FUNK (3) was slow away losing ground. MATALINO TWIST (6) shifted in making contact with ROMAN ACTION (5) leaving the boxes. Entering the first turn MEAN AS MENA (1) angled in into the line of SCOTT SOME TICKA (2) who got on this runners heels with both runners badly unbalanced with SCOTT SOME TICKA shifting out hampering GOLFING BUDDY (4), ZOE'S FUNK (3) and MATALINO TWIST with these runners all unbalanced shifting wide losing ground. MATALINO TWIST then appeared uncomfortable in its action losing ground to finish some distance from the field. A post race veterinary examination of MATALINO TWIST revealed an injury to the right gracilis muscle with a 42 day stand down imposed. |

OPAWA BINGE (7) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with the hindquarters of SCOTT NO VALUE (6) who was unbalanced. SIMPLY YETI (5) shifted in soon after the start making contact with MORE SALT NEEDED (4). Entering the first turn SPOTTED FLYER (2) angled in tightening WINSOME DAN (1) who was checked losing ground going back onto SIMPLY YETI who had to steady. |
| Race 12 | McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C1 - 318 | LURE ME IN underwent a post race veterinary examination after escaping from the handler at kennelling and was passed fit to race. The connections were spoken to regarding the incident. SCOTT NO LIMBS (2) was slow away. OPAWA POPPY (5) and LURE ME IN (6) came together soon after the start. Racing down the back straight ZULU MERCEDES (3) made contact with the hindquarters of WILD FALCON (4) for a distance. JUMP ON IT (1) was tightened and checked racing into the first turn. Entering the first turn WILD FALCON got on the heels of LURE ME IN (6) who had shifted in with WILD FALCON becoming badly unbalanced shifting wide losing considerable ground. |
