Judicial report: (1.) MIDNIGHT ACTION was a late scratching from Race 4 after co-trainer B Evans had concerns that the greyhound may have ingested chocolate in the car park prior to kennelling. (2.) Trainers J Lane & R Wales were fined $50 under Rule 68.8 after failing to have the registration papers for OPAWA STELLA (Race 5) and UNO JAMES (Race 7) at the time of kennelling. (3.) Co-trainers J & D Fahey were fined $50 under Rule 68.8 after failing to have the registration papers for OPAWA PEACHES (Race 6) at the time of kennelling

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	REALITY (2), GLAD RAGS (5) and DREAM PROJECT (6) were slow to begin. CHILE MUSTARD (1) was also slow after beginning very awkwardly. Racing into the first bend CHILE MUSTARD was checked by GLAD RAGS and lost ground. Rounding the bend PROMISES MAID (9) shifted inwards and came together with GLAD RAGS. Shortly after PROMISES MAID and DREAM PROJECT collided with both runners losing their chance. PROMISES MAID and DREAM PROJECT were examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C1 - 295	JEWEL APACHE (4) was slow to begin. LEXIE RAE (1) and JINJA BRIAN (2) bumped at the start. INFERNAL MAJESTY (5) and JINNO GINO (6) also came together at the start with JINNO GINO then shifting outwards, making contact with the hindquarters of BAD WEEK (8). LEXIE RAE and JINJA BRIAN again bumped approaching the first bend. LEXIE RAE and BAD WEEK jostled for some distance rounding the bend with BAD WEEK losing momentum and turning LEXIE RAE outwards into the line of JINNO GINO which was forced wider on the track. JINJA BRIAN ran very wide rounding the bend. When spoken to regarding the improved performance of CHICAGO BLACK, kennel representative J McInerney Jnr explained that the dog had received an interrupted run at its first run back from a spell last week and had been able to lead from an inside draw today after beginning quickly. Mr McInerney Jnr added that he had been confident of a strong performance from CHICAGO BLACK.
Race 3	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C1 - 295	PEYTON SAWYER (2) was placed in restricted room at the start between DEVILSKIN (1) and SAHARA SAM (4) before shifting outwards and colliding with KNOW ENERGY (5). GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7) was crowded rounding the bend between DEVILSKIN and MAX BRAINSTRAIN (8). KNOW ENERGY checked off the heels of DEVILSKIN in the early stages of the home straight with both greyhounds losing momentum. DEVILSKIN and KNOW ENERGY were examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	FIRST OFFICER (2) and ARCHIES DIJON (4) collided at the start. FIRST OFFICER was checked by ARCHIES DIJON approaching the first bend after ARCHIES DIJON shifted down the track. Racing into the first bend TIP THE BABE (8) became awkwardly placed on the heels of DOOSH (5) and lost ground. FIRST OFFICER ran wide rounding the bend. FIRST OFFICER was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Chris & Lisa Earl Dash - C1 - 295	PETRA HAKA (7) was slow in the early stages. CUPCAKE (5) and ADRENALIN KICK (6) bumped shortly after the start. JOHNNYBRUCE (2) was tightened by TAYLA'S FRIEND (3) racing into the first bend. Shortly after MOBILIZE (4) was checked when racing to the inside of ADRENALIN KICK and CUPCAKE with the trailing RED HOT ACTION (8) also being checked. CUPCAKE checked off the heels of ADRENALIN KICK rounding the bend. PETRA HAKA shifted outwards in the early stages of the run home and bumped with RED HOT ACTION after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of JOHNNYBRUCE.
Race 6	DogZone Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR JAGGER (6) was slow to begin. BRISEUR DE REVES (3) and SKILLZ TAYLOR (1) collided in the early stages. Racing into the first bend OPAWA STELLA (2) and OPAWA PEACHES (7) collided with CAWBOURNE WEB (8) also being checked. OPAWA PEACHES and CAWBOURNE WEB came together at the end of the back straight. OPAWA PEACHES and CAWBOURNE WEB were examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury.
Race 7	Garden City Chem-Dry Sprint - C1 - 295	RIO ACTION (5) and KNOW LUCK (6) came together at the start. UNO JAMES (2) and JACK'S A JEWEL (3) also bumped at the start. RIO ACTION and JACK'S A JEWEL collided in the early stages. JACK'S A JEWEL checked off the heels of RIO ACTION racing into the first bend with the trailing OHOKA FAITH (8) and KNOW LUCK (6) also being checked. On the bend UNO JAMES shifted outwards to obtain room to the outside of EXTRA CREDIT (4) and made brief contact with BIGTIME TIP (7). UNO JAMES continued to run outwards with BIGTIME TIP further inconvenienced on the home turn. Stewards viewed all angles of the replay and were satisfied that at no stage did UNO JAMES turn its head towards the outside runner with no further action deemed necessary. A post race veterinary examination of UNO JAMES revealed no injury.
Race 8	I Pave Concrete Stakes Final - C1f - 520	ESTER ACTION (2) and OPAWA SMOKE (3) came together at the start. CAWBOURNE PATTY (4) and OPAWA PAUL (6) also bumped in the early stages. OPAWA BUCKS EYE (1) was checked approaching the first bend after OPAWA SMOKE shifted inwards. OPAWA BUCKS EYE was again checked racing into the first bend when positioned between OPAWA PAUL and CAWBOURNE MIAMI (7). OPAWA SMOKE ran wide entering the back straight before giving ground rounding the final bend. OPAWA PAUL and OPAWA SMOKE made contact leaving the final bend. OPAWA BUCKS EYE and OPAWA SMOKE were examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	STAR APACHE (6) was very difficult to box away. This greyhound had a warning placed on its boxing manners record. ANOTHER SPIN (8) shifted inwards at the start resulting in checks to LUCAS SCOTT (7), STAR APACHE, PADDY THE BAKER (5), CAWBOURNE KIN (4), OUR JOHN (3) and SPEEDY RETURN (2). Rounding the bend SPEEDY RETURN shifted outwards to avoid the heels of KABLITZ (1) hampering ANOTHER SPIN and CAWBOURNE KIN. SPEEDY RETURN and LUCAS SCOTT came together in the early stages of the run home. KABLITZ shifted outwards in the home straight and bumped SPEEDY RETURN. LUCAS SCOTT shifted inwards late in the run home crowding SPEEDY RETURN and KABLITZ.
Race 10	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C1 - 520	ANOTHER CRUISE (5) blundered at the start losing ground with this runner trailing the field by some distance throughout. GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (1) was crowded racing into the first bend by CAWBOURNE KENNY (4) racing into the first bend. JEWEL EAGLE (7) was also checked by BLACK SAILS (8) racing into the first bend. PAUA SHOT (6) checked off the heels of OPAWA BORN (2) rounding the first bend. PAUA SHOT and CAWBOURNE KENNY were checked at the end of the back straight when OPAWA BORN shifted inwards with the trailing JEWEL EAGLE and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR being held up. ANOTHER CRUISE was examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury. Kennel representative J McInerney Jnr was informed that a better performance was expected from ANOTHER CRUISE at its next start.
Race 11	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295	GOD PARTICLE (2) and EKALI (3) came together racing into the first bend. KNOW STRUGGLE (4) ran wide rounding the bend.
Race 12	Livamol Dash - C1 - 295	GIGANAIRE (4) checked off the heels of WOW MADONNA (5) shortly after the start and collided with ZIRCON (6). ZIRCON checked off the heels of OPAWA PERISSA (3) racing into the first bend resulting in OPAWA PERISSA shifting wider on the track hampering CAWBOURNE EDEN.
