| Race 1 | SGRC WELCOME - C0 - 390 | SPEEDY RETURN (3), RIB CURLER (6) and SLYNESS (8) were slow to jump. From the jump CHILL OUT RACH (7) ran inwards and bumped TOTES (5). Into the turn BOYISH CHARMS (2) checked outwards off the heels of SPEEDY RETURN and checked TOTES who in turn severely checked CHILL OUT RACH with both dogs forced wide. The trailing SLYNESS was also held up and clipped the heels of BOYISH CHARMS. On the turn BOYISH CHARMS ran outwards checking SLYNESS and CHILL OUT RACH. Into the straight both BOYISH CHARMS and KING SIMBA (4) ran very wide and lost ground. |
| Race 2 | MR WHIPPY SOUTHLAND - C0 - 457 | RHINEGOLDE (5) was slow to jump and then tightened as OPAWA GAIL (6) shifted ground inwards. OPAWA DIVA (7) ran inwards shortly after the jump checking OPAWA GAIL with the trailing OZARK'S WATCH (10/4) and RHINEGOLDE held up. |
| Race 3 | CONGRATULATIONS LATRENT - C1 - 390 | On the turn DEBORAH BAY (3) checked outwards off the heels of SUBTERFUGE (7) and took THUNDER DRAGON (5) wide. |
| Race 4 | HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY DAWN MCLEOD - C1 - 457 | From the jump FRECKLE FLYER (7) was tightened between ANOTHER VESPA (6) and REGALYN (8). Into the turn JON SNOW LIVES (2) shifted ground outwards and ANOTHER VESPA ran inwards with OPAWA ALEX (4) tightened between those runners. On the turn JON SNOW LIVES continued to run outwards checking ANOTHER VESPA who became unbalanced and lost momentum with the trailing FRECKLE FLYER and REGALYN checked. After the race LA KINKS (5) appeared to tie up and was subject to a veterinary check with minor muscle pain and a 48 hour stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | ADDED ENERGY - C2/3 - 457 | ZIPPING SONNY (5) was slow to jump. From the jump ALEX RUMBLE (6) ran inwards dictating OPAWA STELLA (3) into the path of THRILLING LUKE (2) who lost momentum. Into the turn ALEX RUMBLE ran inwards tightening LAGOON TWIST (1) and checking the trailing THRILLING LUKE. |
| Race 6 | HAPPY 70th BIRTHDAY DAVE ROBBIE - C3 - 390 | Into the turn OPAWA LEAN MEAT (5) shifted ground inwards tightening OPAWA COLIN (2) who shifted ground outwards unbalancing and dictating OPAWA CRUSADE (6) wide with MAGIC MIKE (8) then colliding into OPAWA CRUSADE and both dogs losing all chances. In the straight OPAWA COLIN ran very wide and lost ground. |

| Race 8 | Racing Series Advanced Final - NZRSf - 457 | CHOKEHOLD (5) was slow to jump. From the jump BLACK CROW (6) ran inwards checking GOLDSTAR PO (4) and tightening ABRASADOR (3). In the run to the turn ABRASADOR shifted downwards abruptly checking GOLDSTAR AVERY (1). Into the turn GOLDSTAR PO shifted ground inwards checking ABRASADOR. |
