Race 1	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C3 - 318	LITTLE DREAMS (2) and ATOONGA AIR (9 - Box 5) bumped for a stride over the early stages. KIMETTO (4) shifted out entering the first turn and contacted LUCKY MAN (7) with both runners losing momentum. LITTLE DREAMS shifted out rounding the bend and carried KIMETTO wider on the track. LITTLE DREAMS had to check off the heels of CALAMITY FREE shortly after entering the home straight. DANDY STAR (8) and KIMETTO came together for some strides in the run home.
Race 2	Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C0 - 318	SEMI AUTOMATIC (4), HIGHWAY HOUND (5) and MID COLLISION (8) were slow to jump. SEMI AUTOMATIC and HIGHWAY HOUND then came together shortly after the start. UNO MARCUS (1) had to check off the heels of BIT RUBY (2) rounding the turn and shifted out forcing MID COLLISION wider on the track.
Race 3	Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C1 - 318	JETSUN STORM (7) was slow to jump. ASTA (3) and SANTE SANGRE (5) came together briefly approaching the first turn. JETSUN STORM shifting in entering the first turn and contacted the hindquarters of ASTA, which was turned sideways, with ASTA then making solid contact with MISS BUNNYTHORPE (6), which was checked and lost ground. JETSUN STORM lost several lengths in this incident.
Race 4	Plasterboard Ltd Sprint - C4/5 - 318	NANGAR STAR (7) shifted in shortly after jumping and bumped TALKING FANCY (6) for a stride. NANGAR STAR and YEBOAH (4) then came together on several occasions over the early stages. ZIPPING STEVE (1) got onto the hindquarters of WILD EFFECTIVE (3) entering the first turn with both runners losing ground. YEBOAH then angled down towards the rail further around the bend contacting NANGAR STAR, with YEBOAH being turned sideways losing ground. NANGAR STAR shifted in on the final turn and contacted WILD EFFECTIVE for a stride with that runner then having to check off the heels of NANGAR STAR, which shifted in further on straightening for the run home.
Race 5	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C2 - 318	NEED MAGIC (4) shifted out shortly after jumping forcing MALIGNED (5) out onto RASSO (6) which had BELCROFT BANKER (7) to its immediate outside. SONIC ATTACK (2) and SCOTT NO ODDS (9 - Box 3) then came together and jostled with WAERENGA STAR (8) being turned sideways when shifting and contacting NEED MAGIC, which was forced down onto SCOTT NO ODDS. RASSO and BELCROFT BANKER made contact on several occasions over the early stages. SCOTT NO ODDS and SONIC ATTACK continued to jostle with SONIC ATTACK being forced down onto RED RASCAL for several strides. NEED MAGIC was then checked entering the first turn when racing between SCOTT NO ODDS and BELCROFT BANKER with RASSO having to take evasive action.
Race 6	Whangarei Kamo Club Stakes - C1 - 527	EMBRACE (3) was slow to jump. JINJA MIA (5) and ZIPPING SASHA (6) came together shortly after the start. PODIUM BONUS (2) and JINJA MIA made contact for several strides over the early stages. ZIPPING SASHA got onto the hindquarters of RUBY MURRAY (8) entering the first turn and then shifted out forcing JINJA MIA and EMBRACE ME (3) to race wider on the track with those two runners losing ground. Lure driver E Koroheke was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly in relation to the positioning of the lure on the first turn.
Race 7	Carol's TAB Manurewa Sprint - C4 - 318	UMAGA RAMA (6) and NO MORE DEBT (7) came together briefly shortly after jumping. UMAGA RAMA and PEAKNUCKLE (4) made contact for a stride soon after before making contact on several more occasions entering the first turn with both runners losing ground. LITTLE RASCAL (1) lost ground entering the first turn when racing to the inside of SOMETIME SOON (2) which crossed down to the rail.
Race 8	Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C1 - 318	KNOCKA SLOY (1) was slow to jump and was a clear last on settling. SIMPLY YETI (8) and UNO NATHAN (7) made contact shortly after the start. CORUBA CATE (3) shifted out approaching the first turn hampering LORD DE AIR (5) for a stride. CONTEMPORANEOUS (6) and LORD DR AIR made solid contact entering the first turn with CONTEMPORANEOUS shifting out onto SIMPLY YETI and UNO NATHAN which were both checked and lost ground. WINSOME DAN (4) lost ground on the turn when having to check off the hindquarters of SPEARMINT JUJU (2), which angled down to the rail, and then shifted out forcing CORUBA CATE wider on the track.
Race 9	Misty Anna Classic - SPECA - 527	SPANISH FANCY (5) and OUR GYPSY (6) bumped shortly after the start with OUR GYPSY shifting out onto WINSOME JENNY (7) for several strides before settling at the rear. SPANISH FANCY was then checked and lost ground entering the back straight when WINSOME JENNY (7) shifted down to the rail. OUR GYPSY lost ground racing down the back when having to check off the heels of MISS VELOCETTE (3).
Race 10	DogZone Sprint - C2 - 318	ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (6) proved difficult to load and will be boxed first in future events pursuant to Rule 72.10. KAPAI LANA (4) and FRANKINCENSE (5) came together shortly after the start. HIGH PERCENTAGE (8) then shifted in and made contact with FRANKINCENSE for several strides. AGENT SCHRADER (1) and ARMISTICE DAY (3) came together for some strides over the early stages. SCOTT NO VALUE (7) shifted in entering the first turn and made solid contact with FRANKINCENSE which was checked and went back onto ROTOVEGAS SPARKY and KAPAI LANA, with these three runners all losing ground.
Race 11	Auckland Classic - R/A - 527	ZIPPING JOCK (5) was slow to jump. MY FANTASY (1) and LUCKY COLLECT (3) came together for some strides approaching the first turn with LUCKY COLLECT then shifting out onto the hindquarters of OPAWA KURU before settling at the rear. JOE JOE (6) shifted out on the first turn checking ZIPPING JOCK which lost ground. MY FANTASY lost ground on the final bend when having to check off JOE JOE which angled down to the rail.
Race 12	Peter Fenemor Stakes - C2 - 527	FORTIS FLIER (7) shifted in entering the first bend and contacted GLOBAL CONQUEST (2), with BORIS GUMP (1) having to steady off the back of GLOBAL CONQUEST. THRILLING RIOT (3) shifted out entering the turn and contacted PERCENTAGE GIRL (4), which was forced out onto WHAT THAT DOES (5) and BLOO BLOOMERS (6) with these runners losing ground.
Race 13	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	JUMP ON IT (7) was slow to begin. SIMPLE AND PLAIN (3) and PLAITING PUSS (4) came together shortly after the start. WAIRIO DEE JAY (8) ran wide on entering the home straight.
