Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	CHILE MUSTARD (3) and KING CAESAR (4) were slow to jump. BOTANY ALAN (5) was tightened and checked outwards off heels into the bend and pushed KELLY'S BOY (7) wider on the track with BOTANY ALAN being dragged down for a stride at this point.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Ann Jopson Stakes - C0 - 520	GOLDSTAR DALLAS (7) was last to jump. OPAWA DIVA (8) ran inwards in the early stages pushing GOLDSTAR DALLAS down the track. HELLS A COMING (3) ran outwards into the first bend checking CAWBOURNE MURF (4). Into that bend OPAWA DIVA checked off the heels of OPAWA LIBBY (5) and blundered losing several lengths. OPAWA DIVA ran on strongly late and was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormalities detected. OPAWA TOP (6) lost ground at the end of the back straight with GOLDSTAR SCOOTER (1) being held up for some distance. OPAWA GAIL (2) ran inwards on the home turn checking OPAWA TOP which then ran outwards.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C2 - 295	ANOTHER FAN (6) ran inwards in the early stages pushing BROOKE DAVIS (5) and COSMIC CHELSEA (4) down the track. LIL DANNY RASCAL (1) angled to the rail into the bend checking COSMIC CHELSEA with the trailing BROOKE DAVIS hampered. DAD'S AMBITION (8) ran wide on the home turn.
Race 4	Active Electrical Christchurch Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295	BIG CATCH (4) was subject to and passed a pre race veterinary check after briefly escaping from the handler at the stir up. CHILL OUT RACH (2), BIG CATCH, OPAWA WHISPER (5) and SAHARA SAM (6) were the last quartet on jumping. Into the bend BARCIA EXPRESS (3) ran inwards checking FIERY FAGAN (1) which ran outwards checking the trailing CAIRNELLA (7). OPAWA WHISPER raced wide around the home turn.
Race 5	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA PAUL (7) was last to jump. STAR APACHE (5) angled inwards in the early stages brushing with FANCY NOMIKAI (4). ANOTHER BELLE (2) and STEEL THE GOLD (6) came together on the first bend. At the entrance to the back straight FANCY NOMIKAI ran outwards and marred the running of ESTER ACTION (3) which was badly checked by OPAWA MINSTREL (8) which fell. OPAWA PAUL was checked at the end of the back straight and ran outwards checking FANCY NOMIKAI. OPAWA MINSTREL and FANCY NOMIKAI were both checked and cleared by the vet post race. FANCY NOMIKAI was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.a. for marring and must complete a satisfactory trial before resuming. This trial was subsequently completed on 21 April.
Race 6	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C2 - 295	KNOW CONTEST (4) was last to jump. THAT'S A WRAP (7) ran inwards checking GO TOMMO (6) in the early stages. HOMEBUSH RILEY (1) attempted to run outwards in the back straight coming together with CAWBOURNE TEASH (3) and tightening ALEX RUMBLE (2) which lost ground. KNOW CONTEST was tightened and stumbled for a stride into the bend. KNOW CONTEST was checked and cleared by the vet post race. HOMEBUSH RILEY ran outwards on the turn pushing ALEX RUMBLE outwards with ALEX RUMBLE becoming badly unbalanced and pushing CAWBOURNE TEASH very wide. Closer in KNOW CONTEST ran inwards checking GO TOMMO which ran wide losing ground.
Race 7	Fast Archer At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	SKILLZ TAYLOR (8) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE WEB (5) ran inwards in the early stages checking OPAWA BUCKS EYE (4) which dropped to the rear. OPAWA SMOKE (3) was tightened and ran outwards into the first bend. OPAWA BUCKS EYE ran wide around the first bend. MAGIC DOZER (7) angled wider on the turn pushing PLUTONIUM (6) over extra ground.
Race 8	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C1 - 295	SOUTHERN BLUE (7) ran inwards in the early stages checking ZIRCON (6) and LUCAS SCOTT (5). MIDNIGHT ACTION (3) was checked into the bend and ran outwards hampering ZIRCON and pushing SOUTHERN BLUE wider on the track. LUCAS SCOTT ran outwards after racing close to the heels of MIDNIGHT ACTION on the turn with ZIRCON being inconvenienced and pushed wider on the track.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2 - 520	KNOW WORTH (5) and OPAWA TANIA (10/3) were the last pair from the traps. PUNCH ON JAIME (6) was checked into the first bend losing ground with the trailing HOMEBUSH BUCK (4) hampered as a result and running wide pushing KNOW WORTH wider on the track. KNOW WORTH continued to race wide for the remainder of the race. HELLO BLONDIE (9/2) checked off the heels of OPAWA TANIA at the entrance to the back straight and lost momentum.
Race 10	Happy 70th Birthday Dave Robbie Dash - C1 - 295	GOD PARTICLE (2) and JINJA BRIAN (6) were the last pair on jumping. CHIPPY JORDY (7) ran inwards in the early stages checking JOHNNYBRUCE (5) and WICKED WINSTON (4) with CHIPPY JORDY being turned sideways for a stride. Into the bend WICKED WINSTON ran inwards pushing GOD PARTICLE on to the rail with this dog losing ground and the trailing CAWBOURNE EDEN (3) briefly inconvenienced. CHIPPY JORDY and GOD PARTICLE were both referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C2 - 295	WILL EXCITE (6) was last to leave the traps. TIME SLAYER (2) and ANOTHER SPIN (3) bumped on several occasions in the early stages. TIMELY REMINDER (4) ran outwards in the back straight pushing WILL EXCITE wider on the track.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Sprint - C2 - 295	KNOW STRUGGLE (3) was badly tightened in the back straight and dropped to the rear. WRINKLES (9/1) was keen to run outwards coming together with YAHBINI BALE (2) and being turned sideways for a stride. HAYLEY JAMES (6) raced in tight quarters into the bend losing momentum. KNOW STRUGGLE raced wide around the bend. BAD WEEK (7) fell at the lure and was trapped under the rail for a short time with sutures inserted in a laceration to its left hind leg.
