| Race 1 | Last Man Standing Sprint - C1 - 318 | SIMPLY SAM (1) and SCOTT NO LIMBS (9) were last to leave the boxes. Entering the first turn SIMPLY SAM and MISS BUNNYTHORPE (3) came together with MISS BUNNYTHORPE losing considerable ground. Also inconvenienced as a result were TEPIRITA AMBER (2) who steadied and SCOTT NO LIMBS who lost ground. MISS BUNNYTHORPE continued to lose ground going back into the line of CALM NUSKA (7) who was badly checked getting on this runners heels losing ground. Entering the final straight JUST ABOUT READY (4) shifted out to obtain clear racing room. CALM NUSKA underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 2 | www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318 | MID COLLISION (4) began awkwardly losing several lengths. HOT STAR (7) shifted in abruptly leaving the boxes making contact with SCOOT THE LOOT (6) and DRUNKEN LADY (5) who both lost ground. Racing toward the first turn SCOOT THE LOOT shifted in into the line of DRUNKEN LADY who was checked losing ground. SCOOT THE LOOT then continued to shift in entering the first turn tightening MID COLLISION with these runners coming together and SCOOT THE LOOT shifting wider as a result. MID COLLISION became awkwardly placed on the heels of TAKE ACTION (3) rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground. HOT STAR was briefly crowded entering the final straight. |
| Race 3 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318 | CONTEMPORANEOUS (1) stumbled leaving the boxes. WAIRIO DEE JAY (5) contacted the hindquarters of ZULU MERCEDES (4) for several strides soon after the start with ZULU MERCEDES shifting in making contact with DIVA POSE (3) for several strides. Entering the first turn ASTA (6) and ZULU MERCEDES came together and jostled for a distance with these runners then shifting very wide as a result hampering CORUBA CATE (8) who was also taken wide losing ground. CORUBA CATE then continued to race wide for the remainder of the event. Rounding the bend QUEEN STAR (2) had to check off the heels of DIVA POSE losing ground inconveniencing WAIRIO DEE JAY as a result. |
| Race 4 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Final - C0f - 318 | VEE VEERY GOOD (5) and KAHL DRAGO (6) were slow away. SAVED BY LOVE (7) and SCOTT TIED UP (8) came together soon after the start. Racing toward the first turn SCOTT TIED UP angled in making contact with UNO NATHAN (4) who was unbalanced shifting in inconveniencing VEE VERY GOOD and KHAL DRAGO with KHAL DRAGO and SCOTT TIED UP then racing wide losing ground. Soon after UNO NATHAN shifted back in onto VEE VEERY GOOD who was checked losing ground. VEE VEERY GOOD then shifted out onto KHAL DRAGO taking this runners wider on the track. Also inconvenienced as a result was SCOTT TIED UP (8). Entering the final straight VEE VEERY GOOD shifted out making contact with KHAL DRAGO. In the final straight VEE VEERY GOOD and KHAL DRAGO came together. A Veterinary examination of VEE VEERY GOOD was requested by Stewards following this event with no abnormality detected. SCOTT TIED UP was showing sings of lameness following this event with a post race veterinary examination revealing pain in the left hip support with a 10 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 5 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318 | TRINITY FLIGHT (2) was slow away. LORD DE AIR (5) and MAKING YOU PAW (6) came together for several strides soon after the start with MAKING YOU PAW losing ground. Entering the first turn SNAPCHAT (7) angled in making contact with the hindquarters of LORD DE AIR losing ground going back onto YOU BETCHA NODDY (3) who was inconvenienced losing ground then shifting making solid contact with TRINITY FLIGHT. Also inconvenienced as a result was OPAWA LARRY (1) who was crowded having to steady. Entering the final straight YOU BETCHA NODDY shifted out inconveniencing TRINITY FLIGHT. |
| Race 6 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C2 - 318 | Soon after the start SCOTT NO VALUE (5) and CASUAL SLIPPER (6) came together. OUR JACK ATTACK (3) shifted out soon after the start making contact with NEED MAGIC (7). NEED MAGIC angled in entering the first turn taking OUR JACK ATTACK in onto MORE SALT NEEDED (2) with these runners then racing in restricted room for a distance. SCOTT NO VALUE was checked having to shift out wide across the heels of CASUAL SLIPPER who shifted in entering the first turn with these runners losing ground. SCOTT NO VALUE then continued to shift wide for the remainder of the event. THRILLING CARTER (1) and SKINNY ANKLES (4) came together rounding the bend. |
| Race 7 | Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C3 - 318 | MULTI CHASER (1), GO ANDWYN (4), ATOONGA AIR (6) and SECOND TIME (8) were slightly slow away. ATOONGA AIR shifted in soon after the start making solid contact with GO ANDWYN with these runners both unbalanced. Entering the first turn GO ANDWYN shifted in becoming awkwardly placed near the running rail becoming unbalanced then shifting out losing ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination of GO ANDWYN revealed pain in the left metacarpal with a 10 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 8 | Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 527 | RUBY MURRAY (5) and PLENTY OF TIME (4) were slow away. Soon after the start ZALIA (2) shifted in inconveniencing ZIPPING SASHA (1) who had to shift out off this runners heels. MOCKINGJAY (8) angled in leaving the boxes dictating SCOTT THE LOOKS (7), LOVELY RITA (6) and RUBY MURRAY in onto ZIPPING SASHA with these runners all unbalanced and LOVELY RITA almost falling. Also inconvenienced as a result were PODIUM BONUS (3) and PLENTY OF TIME. Entering the first turn MOCKINGJAY shifted in placing ZALIA in restricted room with ZALIA then shifting out abruptly off this runners heels making solid contact with RUBY MURRAY and SCOTT THE LOOKS with these runners all hampered losing ground as a result. Also inconvenienced and taken wider losing ground was LOVELY RITA. ZALIA was awkwardly placed on heels for several strides rounding the final bend. |
| Race 9 | DogZone Sprint - C4 - 318 | NO MORE DEBT (3) began awkwardly losing ground. FRESCO STAR (7) and ROCKY BOY (6) came together leaving the boxes with these runners then shifting in making solid contact with the hindquarters of LITTLES RASCAL (5) then continuing to shift in making solid contact with IRISH BLUE (4) who was badly unbalanced making contact with TONGARIRO (2) with these runners all losing ground. ROCKY BOY and FRESCO STAR continued to jostle for a distance with ROCKY BOY losing ground entering the first turn. MR.JULES (1), NO MORE DEBT, LITTLE RASCAL and SKYLER WHITE (8) came together in a compact line entering the first turn with SKYLER WHITE and LITTLE RASCAL losing ground. IRISH BLUE and FRESCO STAR came together rounding the bend. IRISH BLUE made contact with the hindquarters of NO MORE DEBT rounding the final turn with NO MORE DEBT shifting out slightly inconveniencing TONGARIRO. |
| Race 10 | Carol's TAB Manurewa Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | BORIS GUMP (3) was slow away. LOCHINVAR MAINE (6) and MR.MUMBLES (7) came together entering the first turn losing ground. ELITE BLUE CHEVY (4) was placed in restricted room near the running rail rounding the first turn with this runner checking, shifting out, losing considerable ground. ELITE BLUE CHEVY then raced wide for the remainder of the event. |
| Race 11 | Plasterboard Ltd Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | UP HIGH (2) and NANGAR STAR (4) came together soon after the start. BRITNEY STAR (6), ROCKIN' FANCY (7) and THRILLING GALAXY (8) came together soon after the start with these runners shifting in onto ANIU (5) with these runners all unbalanced. Soon after BRITNEY STAR shifted out making contact with ROCKIN' FANCY. Racing into the first turn ANIU shifted in making contact with STYLISH FANCY (3) with these runners jostling for a distance with STYLISH FANCY losing ground. Rounding the bend THRILLING GALAXY angled in placing ANIU in restricted room near the running rail with ANIU then attempting to shift out across this runners heels becoming unbalanced with these runners losing momentum. As a result STYLISH FANCY improved onto the heels of ANIU who was further unbalanced and fell. BRITNEY STAR and ROCKIN' FANCY were taken wide losing ground as result. A post race veterinary examination of ANIU revealed pain in the left hip support with a 10 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 12 | McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C2 - 318 | MALIGNED (5) was last to leave the boxes. OUR SWIFT BUDDY (2), RED RASCAL (3) and VINCENT GALLO (4) came together soon after the start. Racing toward the first turn SCOTT NO ODDS (7) angled in hampering DIPSY LALA (1), OUR SWIFT BUDDY (2) and RED RASCAL (3) with these runners all unbalanced losing ground. Rounding the bend SCOTT NO ODDS continued to shift in hampering OUR SWIFT BUDDY who had to shift out off this runners heels into the line of DIPSY LALA and MALIGNED with DIPSY LALA losing ground. Rounding the bend RED RASCAL shifted out with OUR SWIFT BUDDY then shifting out onto MALIGNED with these runners unbalanced OUR SWIFT BUDDY almost falling. A post race veterinary examination of OUR SWIFT BUDDY revealed no abnormality. |
