| Race 1 | Active Electrical Christchurch Maiden Sprint Heat 1 - C0q - 295 Heat 1 | REALITY (2) and PEP'S TERRA (7) were the last pair on jumping. KING SIMBA (5) ran inwards on dispatch checking BOYISH CHARMS (4) which lost ground with BARCIA EXPRESS (3) turned sideways for a stride. PEP'S TERRA ran inwards in the early stages coming together with BOYISH CHARMS. MACHINE MAN (6) angled inwards into the bend tightening KING SIMBA with the trailing BOYISH CHARMS being forced wider on the track. PEP'S TERRA was inconvenienced in this incident. MACHINE MAN and BOYISH CHARMS both raced wide around the home turn. |
| Race 2 | Active Electrical Christchurch Maiden Sprint Heat 2 - C0q - 295 Heat 2 | GLAD RAGS (1) and SOME EXCITMENT (3) were the last pair on jumping. HOMEBUSH KAYLA (7) ran inwards in the early stages tightening GINA MCBELL (10/6) and pushing CHILL OUT RACH (5) down the track. GLAD RAGS ran outwards into the bend pushing GINA MCBELL wider on the track. CHILL OUT RACH was dragged down for a stride entering the turn with this bitch briefly running outwards causing a severe check to HOMEBUSH KAYLA which lost ground. As she lost ground she was dragged down by GINA MCBELL with this pair losing their chances. HOMEBUSH KAYLA was checked and cleared by the vet post race. SOME EXCITMENT raced very wide around the home turn. |
| Race 3 | Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520 | OPAWA DIVA (5) was tightened in the early stages dropping to the rear. GOLDSTAR DALLAS (6) angled outwards slightly into the first bend contacting OPAWA LIBBY (8) which was badly unbalanced and lost ground. OPAWA LIBBY was checked and cleared by the vet post race. SPEEDY RETURN (7) commenced to weaken on the home turn and was then badly checked by GOLDSTAR SCOOTER (1). SPEEDY RETURN finished last and was found to be suffering from severe cramp with a 7 day stand down recommended. Co-trainer D Fahey informed Stewards that SPEEDY RETURN will be restricted to sprint racing in its immediate starts. |
| Race 4 | Active Electrical Christchurch Maiden Sprint Heat 3 - C0q - 295 Heat 3 | KING CAESAR (4) was very slow to jump. GORDONS MY MATE (6) was tightened into the bend and lost ground after OPAWA WHISPER (8) had angled inwards. GORDONS MY MATE then checked outwards pushing CULVIE DEN (9/2) very wide on the track. OPAWA WHISPER and GORDONS MY MATE both ran very wide around the home turn. |
| Race 5 | Islington Tavern Maiden Distance - C0d - 645 | BENJAMIN BLACK (4) was hard to box in this event. BENJAMIN BLACK blundered in the run to the first bend and lost ground. Wider out RUSHCUTER ACTION (7) was checked and ran outwards pushing LAGOON BELLE (8) wider on the track. RUSHCUTER ACTION again checked off heels into the first bend with LAGOON BELLE forced wide again. PRIVATE ACTION (6) raced wide in the early stages. At the end of the back straight BENJAMIN BLACK checked outwards off heels checking SOLSTICE (5) which lost momentum. BENJAMIN BLACK was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 6 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C2 - 295 | THAT'S A WRAP (6) and RAND (5) were tightened in the early stages after WOOLY WHATSIT (7) had run inwards. ZORBA THE GREEK (8) angled inwards into the bend causing some tightening to TERRA ALERT (4) which lost ground. THAT'S A WRAP was held up for racing room on the home turn when racing to the inside of RAND with RAND becoming unbalanced. On the home turn SUPER BAD (1) contacted the hind quarters of ZORBA THE GREEK with both runners losing some momentum. |
| Race 7 | Happy Birthday Pauline (Pud) Munro Stakes - C2 - 520 | THRILLING LUKE (7) and JINJA SQUEAK (8) were the last pair on jumping. OPAWA STELLA (4) shifted outwards in the early stages checking CAWBOURNE KENNY (5) and THRILLING LUKE. BLACK SAILS (3) checked outwards off the hind quarters of LONG STOCKINGS (6) into the first bend with JINJA SQUEAK being pushed wide. OPAWA STELLA raced wide around the first bend. |
| Race 8 | DogZone Sprint - C2 - 295 | BADUZZI (1) ran outwards in the back straight causing a check to SMOKING MARLEY (5). VAN GERWIN (4) was tightened into the bend and drifted to the rear. SMOKING MARLEY received a severe check on the bend and lost its chance after WILL EXCITE (2) had angled outwards. Early in the run home MAY MAY LAST (6) ran inwards and made solid contact with LEKTRA SPIDER (10). VAN GERWIN raced wide around the home turn when at the rear. VAN GERWIN, SMOKING MARLEY and MAY MAY LAST were all referred to the vet for assessment with MAY MAY LAST sustaining a wrist injury. |

KNOW STRUGGLE (2) and WALLY BAXTER (1) were both tightened in the run to the bend. GO POPPY and GOSSIP QUEEN collided into the bend. SPEEDY DISPATCH (8) and KNOW STRUGGLE raced wide around the home turn. LOOK AT LUCY (5) was checked on the home turn as THUNDER STORM improved to its inside. |

WINE TIME was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a torn gracilis muscle. STRUGGLE IS REAL (2) checked off heels on the bend and ran outwards losing ground. HOMEBUSH GRU (8) raced wide around the home turn. |
| Race 12 | Livamol Dash - C3 - 295 | STARBURST EMMA (2), CANDYBOY (6) and TEPIRITA HENDRIX (8) were the slowest to jump. EBONY FANCY (4) was tightened into the bend and lost ground with MAUDIE'S BABE (5) and CANDYBOY being checked and forced wide around this runner. ADROIT (7) and MAUDIE'S BABE both raced wide around the home turn. CANDYBOY faltered on the home turn and dropped out with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment where it was found to have a fracture hock. |
