Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well watered and groomed through out the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: FAIR CRUZIN race 8 was a late scratching on vets advice.
Trainer L Bell was fined $100-00 rule 69.11 after REPEAT VISIT weighed in 1.7 kgs from his last race weight of 33.6 kgs on 22-2-2016.
CAWBOURNE PAWS race 7 was stood down rule ( 79.1b ) failing to pursue 1st offence and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	Soon after the start RALLY SARIOUS ran in bumping ANOTHER JET. SCOTT TIED UP raced widest through out finishing strongly down the outer in the run to the line to finish in to 4th placing at the line. HOMEBUSH INQUIRY led in to the first bend then vied for the lead on the outer of THEOPHILIS towards the home turn where HOMEBUSH INQUIRY lost ground back towards the rear finishing in 7th placing at the line. HOMEBUSH INQUIRY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	Racing from the start DEATHSTAR and CAWBOURNE JOSH came together, soon after OPAL JEWEL improved on their outer angling across tightening DEATHSTAR back in on to CAWBOURNE JOSH. Racing in to the home straight DARK GARNAH and DEATHSTAR bumped and lost a long was then bumped again as CAWBOURNE JOSH raced past, DEATHSTAR was unable to quicken again finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 3	Buck Fever At Stud C0 - C0 - 457	Soon after the start BLACK ROADSTAR angled across coming together with FREDDY BEDROCK for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend CAWBOURNE ESKI improving around the outer moved inwards tightening JAZZ HILL in on to BLACK ROADSTAR for a couple of strides. racing down the home straight CAWBOURNE ESKI and BLACK ROADSTAR when fighting for the minors nearing the post CAWBOURNE ESKI went off stride losing momentum finishing in 4th placing at the line. WRONG NUMBER raced wide in to and around the top bend covering extra ground finishing a margin in the rear at the line. CAWBOURNE ESKI was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have injuries to both gracilis muscles and pectoral muscle area's a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	Invitation Stakes C1/2 - INV - 457	THRILLING TOBY box 4 began awkwardly last away by 5 or so lengths and raced in the rear there after. Racing to the first bend there was tightening in behind the leaders with CROWD GOES WILD being pushed in on to BERNIE'S BOY for some strides, outside these runners BANSHEE BOY attempted a gap between SWIFTLY CHLOE and HAWKESBURY FEVER but was bumped and checked back at this point. BANSHEE BOY ran wide on to the top bend following SWIFTLY CHLOE but was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 5	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C1 - C1 - 457	Racing in to the first bend BLACHIE CHAN improving towards the leader angled in across the face of PHANTOM WAY resulting in this runner going back a couple of lengths. Racing in to the first bend WALL AGE in the rear was attempting to improve wider out was bumped as CAWBOURNE GABLE improved through on his inner . WALL AGE went straight ahead as he tried to balance up again racing widest around the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing several lengths last at the line.
Race 6	Invitation Stakes C3/4 - INV - 457	racing from the boxes KIRKHAM JACK, CAWBOURNE CLAY and OPAWA KAREN all came together for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend HEART YOU and OPAWA KAREN came together bumping and jostling as CAWBOURNE GIL came back on them when checking off the back of BIGTIME RANSON moved across to the rail CAWBOURNE CLAY ran wide in to the bend when following KIRKHAM JACK . CAWBOURNE CLAY after covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running ran home in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 7	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	REPEAT VISIT was down 1.7kgs today an intentional decrease by the Trainer. CAWBOURNE HINT box 7 began awkwardly running out across the face of and checking REPEAT VISIT as they came off the mat. CAWBOURNE PAWS box 3 was also slow away. racing to the first bend ARCANE RAMPAGE angled across the face of PACIFIC VIBE in on to HOMEBUSH NAK I who bumped in to CHASE ME APATCHE with this runner being checked again as CAWBOURNE HINT raced to the lead angling in on to ARCANE RAMPAGE who went back on to CHASE ME APATCHE CAWBOURNE PAWS after a poor start made good ground in to and across the top bend to lead in to the run home, midway down the home straight CAWBOURNE PAWS turned his head towards CAWBOURNE HINT for a stride or so losing momentum slightly and was beaten narrowly as PACIFIC VIBE finished best to win. CAWBOURNE PAWS was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. The Stewards reviewed the run up the home straight with Trainer Mrs S Gommans where the film clearly showed that CAWBOURNE PAWS turned his head inwards for a stride or so before running straight there after to the line. Mrs Gommans admitted to a charge of ( failing to pursue ) 1st offence 28 days stand down and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
Race 8	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C2 - C2 - 375	FAIR CRUZIN was a late scratching on arrival at the track due to signs of ENTERITIS a 10 day stand down was imposed .Racing in to the first bend KNOCKA FEW BACK ( fav ) attempted to improve in to the body of the field and was checked and tightened between ELITE DOSE angling inwards and CAWBOURNE KIWI coming out off the rail. KNOCKA FEW BACK lost momentum losing a few lengths then ran wide on to the top bend. KNOCKA FEW BACK was unable to get back in to contention finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	Racing in to the first bend there was a line up for the lead between SHINZIGZAG, NIKKA CENTURY, RED MOOVA HOOVER, DON'T MUZZLE ME, IMPERSONATOR and PURE LEE on the outer improving up angling inwards forcing IMPERSONATOR in on to RED MOOVA HOOVER, NIKKA CENTURY and SHINZIGZAG. DON'T MUZZLE ME was tightened and checked back taking EFFECTIVE POWER back also, all these runners were hampered for some strides. WHEELIE RASCAL from box 8 was able to stay clear of trouble racing around the outer of these runners. RED MOOVA HOOVER after being tightened early went back through the field racing towards the home turn causing checks to EFFECTIVE POWER and NIKKA CENTURY as he went back. RED MOOVA HOOVER drifted out to finish a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have a fractured toe on the left hind a 21 day stand down was recommended.
Race 10	Affordable Pet Accessories C3 - C3 - 375	ENHANCER was slow away. Soon after the start SUPERLINER angled across on to BOW RIVER MAN and VINNIE BAXTER. Racing to the bend LEGAL AID racing to the lead angled tightening PEACOCK PRINCESS in to SPIRIT RUN, PEACOCK PRINCESS went back and outwards checking VINNIE BAXTER with BOW RIVER MAN catching his hind quarters checking out on to MANGAMAHU JACK who was pushed widest racing across the top bend in to the home straight. MANGAMAHU JACK covered a lot of extra ground across the top bend being very wide in to the home straight.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	There was no photo finish available for downloading on to the Web for this race. Racing to the first bend DOUBLE ENTENDRE angled across bumping TO THE BANK in on to GRAND LARCENY with ANOTHER HABIT being checked back from between these runners, a couple of strides on DOUBLE ENTENDRE caught the hind quarters of GRAND LEGACY who almost went down. GRAND LEGACY was able to stay on his feet where he was bumped again by DOUBLE ENTENDRE as this runner attempted to get around this runner. Racing on to the point of the bend DOUBLE ENTENDRE was bumped as when coming together with TO THE BANK. GRAND LEGACY was unable to get back in to contention finishing in 6th placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C3 - C3 - 457	BIGTIME REDFOO box 1 led out in to the lead leading in to the home straight, midway down the run home ZIPPING JOCK ran past BIGTIME REDFOO who was unable to quicken again finishing in 5th placing at the line. Racing away from the start HOMEBUSH HANSOME and COSMIC SCRAMBLE bumped for a stride. Racing in to the first bend HOMEBUSH HANSOME almost caught the back of KIRKHAM HARVEY losing momentum as he went back becoming unbalanced in his galloping action finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have pain over the right pectoral muscle area a 10 day stand down was recommended. BIGTIME REDFOO was referred to the vet for assessment as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
