Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	Racing to the first bend ODD FELLOW angled in across the heels of HOMEBUSH BOUNCE on to the shoulder of LACHIE JEWEL pushing him in on to SASHA MCBELL. LACHIE JEWEL ran out of room between runners checking back off heels to the rear. Racing on to the top bend LACHIE JEWEL improving on the inner ran on to the heels of SASHA MCBELL, LACHIE JEWEL lost momentum back to the rera and was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 2	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	COOL DEXTER went up with the lids being last away off the mat. Racing in to the first bend HOMEBUSH FLYTE angled down to the rail across the face of MAD MUSIC who was forced to check off heels going back several lengths on to PRINCELY MONEY who was then tightened between MAD MUSIC and COOL DEXTER on his outer, SAMMY BAXTER box 8 raced up angling inwards across the face of COOL DEXTER who caught a heel of SAMMY BAXTER then ran in across the face of MAD MUSIC causing this dog to check outwards sharply in to the shoulder of PRINCELY MONEY knocking this dog off his feet. COOL DEXTER after being checked and forced out wide finished towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet at the Trainers request and was found to have pain in both gracilis muscle a 7 day stand down was recommended. MAD MUSIC lost ground back to the rear. PRINCELY MONEY quickly recovered to his feet to finish on to the lure along with MAD MUSIC. PRINCELY MONEY and MAD MUSIC were referred to the vet for assessment. PRINCELY MONEY was found to have pain in the left supraspinatus muscle a 5 day stand down was recommended. MAD MUSIC was found to have pain in the right triceps area a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 3	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE HINT ( fav ) dwelt slightly at the start then quickly in to stride to vye for the lead to the first bend. CAWBOURNE HINT was hampered for some distance in the first in the run to the top bend when unable to get around to the lead past MIGHTY TWIST, HOMEBUSH LUCIFER raced up on the outer of CAWBOURNE HINT racing in to the bend bumping his hind, HOMEBUSH LUCIFER went outwards for a stride or so then angled back inwards catching the heels of CAWBOURNE HINT and falling checking LIZ WATTO resulting in this runner going out widest on the point of the bend losing all chance there after. HOMEBUSH LUCIFE R was quickly to his feet to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have superficial bruising a 5 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion OLLIE BOY ( fav ) was attempting to push his way across coming together with AUNTY TRACE, ahead of these runners in the lead CAWBOURNE SPREE ran in to the shoulder of PACIFIC SUNRISE, CAWBOURNE SPREE went sideways out in to the line of AUNTY TRACE who ran in to the hind of CAWBOURNE SPREE outwards sharply in to OLLIE BOY with ANOTHER HABIT on their outer being forced widest at this point. AUNTY TRACE went back catching the hind of OLLIE BOY and stumbled for a stride or so losing all chance there after. OLLIE BOY after being checked in to the first bend and losing considerable ground improved along the back straight to race up in to a handy position nearing the home turn finishing in to 4th placing at the line. AUNTY TRACE finished in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have general soreness to left wrist, left calf & fan muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 305	Racing away from the start RITZA ROMAN angled outwards checking SEDGEBROOK BABE who went back on to GRAND ALLEGRO with this runner angling across to the rail losing some ground. Leading in to the first bend RITZA ROMAN angled in on to the shoulder of AL'S GIRL as ALLEGRO CLASS wider out raced up angling in on to RITZA ROMAN checking this runner back on to SEDGEBROOK BABE who bumped RITZA ROMAN outwards on the point of the bend forcing FUNKY FREDDY to run wide at this point also.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	This race was delayed by 2 minutes due to a broken muzzle. Soon after the start INCREASING angled outwards coming together with BIG BOY DENO ( fav ), wider out MEAT DAMON angled out across the face of BELFAST EEJIT who caught his heels. Racing on to the bend RUA RAMA raced up on the inner of BIG BOY DENO bumping this runner outwards, just ahead INCREASING angled out sharply over the heels of INDEFINATE ORDER resulting in BIG BOY DENO running in to the hind of INDEFINATE ORDER in to the line of BELFAST EEJIT who had to check out sharply running in to MEAT DAMON with this runner being bumped and running to the outer of the track as he kept his balance. BELFAST EEJIT and MEAT DAMON lost a fair amount of ground in this incident finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	Racing in to the first bend GULLY FLAHERTY box 7 racing handy angled inwards making contact with the shoulder of HOMEBUSH GINGER ,GULLY FLAHERTY went outwards bumping in to ALAMEIN DUKE and going off stride back through the field to the rear. GULLY FLAHERTY appeared to be uncomfortable in her galloping action racing to the home turn and the run up the home straight to the line. GULLY FLAHERTY was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain in the right hind quadriceps a 5 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	Racing from the boxes CAWBOURNE PEEJAY raced across on to DREAMZONE and SECOND TIME forcing these runners inwards with DREAMZONE catching the hind quarters of KNOCKA FEW BACK turning this runner sideways. Racing in to the first bend KNOCKA FEW BACK and DREAMZONE came together jostling as they attempted to change ground, a couple of strides on SECOND TIME checked off heels angling outwards sharply on to KNOCKA FEW BACK, DREAMZONE and CAWBOURNE PEEJAY these runners ran wide covering a fair amount of extra ground and were unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	Racing to the first bend SNOW BALL CHANCE on getting to the lead was attempting to angle across towards the rail tightened EMBEE DEE in on to FAIR CRUZIN and severely tightening IVANHOV on the inner who did a good job to keep off the rail ,as IVANHOV went back NUI MAGIC raced up tightening in on to DOWNGRADE KING, PIXIE DUST,EMBEE DEE and FAIR CRUZIN, these runners all jostled for several strides. IVANHOV after being checked in the early running made up some ground but was unable to get back in to contention finishing in 6th placing at the line. FAIR CRUZIN finished in 5th placing and was referred to the vet at the handlers request where no abnormalities were found.
Race 10	AON CPF C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	SPRINGVALE HARRY ( fav ) from box 8 was away well in the run to the first bend where he was forced to race wide around the bend in to the back straight where he made good ground around runners to race in to a handy position on to the top bend. SPRINGVALE HARRY attempted a gap between SHERLOCK IZMIR and LADY ZEENA on his outer. SPRINGVALE HARRY caught the heels of LADY ZEENA losing momentum going back a few lengths ,soon after nearing the home turn he came out on to LADY ZEENA with both runners hampered for a stride, SPRINGVALE HARRY was unable to quicken in the run home finishing in 6th placing at the line.
Race 11	INTERISLANDER C4 - C4 - 305	Racing away from the start ONE BROKE GIRL ( fav ) angled inwards tightening EFFECTIVE POWER, ALL IN BERLIN and VITO BAXTER for a few strides. Racing in to the first bend RAPPER DASH moved out off heels taking IMPERSONATER and CHAIMBO widest on to the top bend.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	In the run to the first turn GRADER JACK and DANDY STAR came together bumping and jostling for some distance this was impacted as MAKING TIME and SPIRIT RUN improved on their outer angling inwards on to GRADER JACK. racing in to the first bend BOW RIVER MAN from the middle of the track angled in across heels to the rail where he went to make ground he ran out of room losing momentum back to the rear again, when clear he made ground in to 5th placing at the line. DANDY STAR became awkwardly placed racing on to the bend as did SPIRIT RUN who ran wide. After running wide on to the top bend SPIRIT RUN finished strongly in the run home in to 2nd placing at the line.
