Judicial report: Trainer R Blackburn reported that ONLY GOT TIME which was engaged at the Christchurch GRC's meeting on the 25/2/16 was found to be lame this morning and upon assessment this bitch had suffered a sprained wrist which is being treated.

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	IN THE BOOT (6) was slow to leave the boxes. RAEWYN (7) came inwards abruptly at the start and impeded the racing line of JINJA SQUEAK (4) before bumping with OPAWA TRACY (9/3) which in turn forced YAHBINI BALE (2) down onto OPAWA GRUNTER (1). OPAWA TRACY then had to change ground outwards when racing into the bend and a result was dragged down by JINJA SQUEAK which in consequence caused checks to RICH ACTION (5) and IN THE BOOT (6). OPAWA TRACY was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination and cleared injury.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Barry Free Dash - C0 - 295	JINJA BRIAN (3) was slow to leave the boxes. MACHINE MAN (1) and CRONOS (2) both lost momentum when racing into the bend after OPAWA WHISPER (7) came down the track causing some crowding. MACHINE MAN and CULVIE DEN (8) came together exiting the bend.
Race 3	Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	MAJESTIC ACTION (7) came down the track shortly after the start and bumped with OPAWA BUCKS EYE (5) before continuing down the track and bumping with GOLDSTAR JAGGER (3). GOLDSTAR JAGGER was the obliged to check off the heels of MAJESTIC ACTION when entering the first bend with this in turn forcing OPAWA BUCKS EYE up the track.
Race 4	DogZone Sprint - C0 - 295	GO McINDOE (4) and REALITY (7) were both slow to leave the boxes. SOUTHERN BLUE (8) came inwards at the start turning EXTRA CREDIT (6). KING SIMBA (2) lost momentum when placed in restricted room entering the bend with REALITY being checked as a result. BARCIA EXPRESS (1) and SOUTHERN BLUE bumped on several occasions rounding the bend.
Race 5	Barron's Supplies Maiden Final - C0f - 520	FANCY NOMIKAI (3) came down the track when entering the first bend resulting in both OPAWA LIBBY (1) and OPAWA FAITH (2) having to check off its heels. This in turn caused an inconvenience to GOLDSTAR DALLAS (4) and GOLDSTAR SCOOTER (7) and forced JAYBE ALBIE (8) up the track. JAYBE ALBIE was severely dragged down when racing round the final bend by GOLDSTAR SCOOTER who also lost momentum. A post race veterinary examination of JAYBE ALBIE revealed small lacerations consistent with being dragged down however no stand down was deemed necessary.
Race 6	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295	CHILE MUSTARD (8) was slow to leave the boxes. FLASH THE CASH (9/1) lost momentum racing round the bend when placed in restricted room to the inside of ZIRCON (2). SMASH FIRE (3) was obliged to check off the heels of BELFAST BARRY (5) rounding the bend. This resulted in KELLY'S BOY (6) being dragged to the track and SMASH FIRE being severely checked. Both KELLY'S BOY and SMASH FIRE were subjected to post race veterinary examinations and cleared of injury. CHILE MUSTARD and FLASH THE CASH bumped leaving the bend.
Race 7	Amber Cleaning Services Maiden Distance - C0d - 645	OPAWA BORN (4) came outwards at the start dictating UGO FLASH (5) out onto BENJAMIN BLACK (6). SOLSTICE (7) and BENJAMIN BLACK (6) bumped when negotiating the first bend. UGO FLASH lost ground when placed in restricted room racing into the final bend. HIP HOP SOFIA (8) was held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
Race 8	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C2 - 295	GLORY HOG (6) was awkwardly placed on the heels of MAY MAY LAST (7) shortly after the jump when this bitch came down the track. BAD WEEK (5) was squeezed between THUNDER STORM (4) and MAY MAY LAST shortly after the start with BAD WEEK and THUNDER STORM losing ground.
Race 9	Livamol Stakes Final - C2f - 520	CAWBOURNE KENNY (6) came inwards at the start and dictated JINJA ROMAN (5) down onto THRILLING LUKE (4) which was slightly turned. LAGOON TWIST (2) checked off the heels of FEKITOA (3) racing into the first bend and as a consequence bumped with OPAWA ZENA (7). JINJA ROMAN was awkwardly placed to the back of CAWBOURNE KENNY rounding the final bend before having to check off the heels of LAGOON TWIST and force OPAWA ZENA up the track.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295	EBONY FANCY (6) and LIL DANNY RASCAL (5) made contact shortly after the start. BADUZZI (4) came down onto LEKTRA SPIDER (3) shortly after the start. KNOW STRUGGLE (2) was slightly turned by WILL EXCITE (1) , who lost ground, just prior to the bend. LIL DANNY RASCAL and MULBERRY BROOK (8) lost ground when racing tight rounding the bend. BADUZZI then forced LIL DANNY RASCAL up the track after improving outwards rounding the bend. When questioned regarding the improved performance of the winner EBONY FANCY, kennel representative S Herd advised that it could only be attributed to the bitch making a fast beginning.
Race 11	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1/2 - 520	KNOW STYLE (7) came inwards during the run to the first bend and placed pressure on RED HOT ACTION (9/5), OPAWA TANIA (4) and TAMARA MAY (3). RUSHCUTTER ACTION (2) was dragged down by TAMARA MAY when entering the first bend. A post race veterinary examination of RUSHCUTTER ACTION cleared the dog of injury.
Race 12	Protexin Dash - C2 - 295	APOLLO BAXTER (8) was slow to leave the boxes. BIG MUDDY (7) came inwards when entering the bend placing KINGMAN (3) in restricted room which lost ground. As a result of this TILT (4) had to check and PUNCH ON JAMIE (2) was inconvenienced.
