Judicial report: (1.) ADJUDICATOR completed a satisfactory trial. (2.) Trainer A Joyce was fined $100 after GORILLA ON DRUMS (Race 2) was presented 1.8kgs above its last recorded weight on 11 February. (3.) Trainer M Grant was fined $100 after COLLECTING MONEY (Race 7) was presented 1.6kgs above its last recorded weight on 4 February. (4.) Co-trainers J & D Fahey were fined $50 after failing to arrange a catcher for OPAWA VAL in Race 11.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	BADUZZI (3), HOMEBUSH GRU (2) and HOMEBUSH SLINKY (6) were placed in restricted room racing into the first bend after THUNDER STORM (7) shifted down the track. Shortly after ONLY GOT TIME (4) and BLACK SAILS (8) made contact. Rounding the bend BADUZZI and THUNDER STORM came together. When questioned regarding the improved performance of JINJA LOCH (5), the connections explained that the greyhound had downgraded since its last start and had appreciated the sprint distance. They added that JINJA LOCH had trialled well leading into the race after returning from injury.
Race 2	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C3 - 295	GOLDSTAR BOMBER (7), GOSSIP QUEEN (9) and HARKONEN BALE (4) came together shortly after the start. Racing into the bend HARKONEN BALE checked off the heels of TEPIRITA HENDRIX (3) and lost ground before coming together with GOLDSTAR BOMBER. HARKONEN BALE, GOLDSTAR BOMBER and GOSSIP QUEEN again collided rounding the bend. CAPTAIN SHAZZ (2) checked off the heels of RAPAKI KATH (1) in the early stages of the run home with both greyhounds losing momentum. GOLDSTAR BOMBER and HARKONEN BALE were examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. When questioned regarding the improved performance of GORILLA ON DRUMS, trainer A Joyce explained that the dog had recently downgraded and had trialled very well leading into today's race.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C2 - 295	BOTANY ZENVO (6) shifted inwards at the start checking APOLLO BAXTER (5), SWEET MARYLOU (4), ANOTHER BELLE (3) and THAT'S A WRAP (2). Racing into the first bend HOMEBUSH RILEY (7) shifted inwards checking BOTANY ZENVO, ANOTHER BELLE, SWEET MARYLOU and APOLLO BAXTER. ANOTHER BELLE, SWEET MARYLOU and APOLLO BAXTER were examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C3 - 295	CANDYBOY (2) and OPAWA CRUSADE (4) were slow to begin. CABARITA (8) shifted inwards at the start hampering WOOLY WHATSIT (7) and JINJA BILLY (6). JINJA BILLY shifted down the track racing into the first bend checking CANDYBOY, WOOLY WHATSIT and OPAWA CRUSADE. ANOTHER FAN (5) and JINJA BILLY (6) collided leaving the bend with ANOTHER FAN losing momentum. OPAWA CRUSADE was examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C3 - 520	LAGOON BELLE (7), KNOW NEGLECT (5), NINA BAXTER (9) and WILLIS (3) collided in the early stages. JINJA JAFFA (2) was checked by OPAWA KEVIN (6) rounding the first bend and lost ground with the trailing VERNON BALE (8) being hampered. WILLIS checked off the heels of VERNON BALE leaving the final bend to obtain clear running. JINJA JAFFA checked outwards off the heels of KNOW NEGLECT early in the run home.
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C4 - 295	GOOD GENES (5) and GRIFINATOR (6) bumped at the start. COLLECTING MONEY (7) shifted inwards in the early stages hampering ADROIT (4). MISS FANNING (8), GRIFINATOR, DINERO ACTION (2), OPAWA LEAN MEAT (3) and ADROIT collided approaching the first bend. GRIFINATOR checked off the heels of MISS FANNING entering the bend and shifted outwards checking ADROIT. MISS FANNING checked off the heels of OPAWA LEAN MEAT rounding the bend and collided with GOOD GENES and GRIFINATOR. COLLECTING MONEY was dragged down by the trailing DINERO ACTION (2) in the early stages of the run home with both dogs losing momentum. COLLECTING MONEY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 7	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C3 - 295	TERRA ALERT (4), KNOW CONTEST (5), TELL THE BOYS (6) and MAUDIE'S BABE (7) collided at the start. MAUDIE'S BABE, COSTING MONEY (1) and PATCHWORK ALICE (3) collided racing into the first bend with PATCHWORK ALICE losing ground and checking the trailing TERRA ALERT and TELL THE BOYS. ZORBA THE GREEK (2) was also hampered. KNOW CONTEST and PATCHWORK ALICE came together leaving the bend.
Race 8	The Turf Bar Dash - C5 - 295	NEW THANG (7) and CARNEGIE HALL (5) came together at the start with HOMEBUSH ZIPPY (6) being checked. SMASH RUMOUR (4) shifted inwards racing into the first bend checking MY FIRST LITTER (3), HOMEBUSH ARIEL (2) and OHOKA BILLY (1). CARNEGIE HALL was also checked before making contact with the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH ARIEL. CARNEGIE HALL checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH ZIPPY leaving the bend. HOMEBUSH ARIEL was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 9	New Zealand Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 732	KNOW WORTH (4) and SHANDELL (5) came together at the start. KNOW WORTH checked off the heels of GOLDSTAR COCO (7) racing into the first bend and was dragged down by SHANDELL. LONG STOCKINGS (6) and GOLDSTAR COCO came together rounding the bend passing the winning post with a lap to race with the trailing SHANDELL being checked. CAN'T CATCH TIM (3) and GOLDSTAR PO (1) were both checked by LONG STOCKINGS rounding the final bend. TEEMARIA (2) and GOLDSTAR COCO came together leaving the final bend. KNOW WORTH and SHANDELL were examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury.
Race 10	C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295	KERAMUS (5) and DIRK THE JERK (8) were slow to begin. WHEELCHAIR NORM (9) shifted inwards racing into the first bend checking TEE TIME (3) and PUMA PANTS (2) with the trailing PUMA PANTS (2), DIRK THE JERK and GOLD VIPA (4) all being checked. TEE TIME and DIRK THE JERK came together rounding the bend. WHEELCHAIR NORM and TEE TIME were examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C4 - 520	HOMEBUSH KELSO (2) was a late scratching at 12.30pm on Veterinary advice. KNOW MAYHEM (6) checked off CAWBOURNE WAR (9) shortly after the start. MYSTIC ACTION (8) was hampered racing into the first bend by OPAWA VAL (4) which ran wide. CAWBOURNE WAR (9) checked off the heels of ANOTHER LIZ (3) in the early stages of the run home.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C4 - 295	RICK'S TREASURE (4), REPLAY (3), TOKEN ACE (2) and KNOW SALUTE (1) collided in the early stages. TOKEN ACE and RICK'S TREASURE came together racing into the first bend. REPLAY and RICK'S TREASURE collided rounding the bend. RICK'S TREASURE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
