Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY FROM PALMERSTON NORTH GRC 11 JANUARY 2016...... Trainer J McInerney was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 in that JAMES MCBELL was presented 2.3 kgs above its last race weight on 30 December 2015.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	MACHINE MAN (4) was a late scratching mid morning after Trainer D Kingston reported that his van had broken down on the way to the track. YOU'RE THE BEST (9/1) and OPAWA WHISPER (5) were the last pair on jumping. In the back straight YOU'RE THE BEST ran outwards and was turned sideways for a stride when coming together with OPAWA WHISPER. BELFAST BARRY (6) was tightened into the bend losing ground.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Doug Schultz Sprint - C1 - 295	EUG THE SCROOGE (4) was last to jump. LIL DANNY RASCAL (10/7) ran inwards and came together with MOBILIZE (9/5) with BIGTIME TIP (6) receiving tightening in between this pair. On the home turn BIGTIME TIP angled outwards pushing VERBATIM (2) up the track on to MOBILIZE and LIL DANNY RASCAL with this pair falling. They were referred to the vet for assessment with MOBILIZE appearing to be suffering from concussion and receiving a 10 day stand down.
Race 3	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	MAGIC DOZER (6) ran inwards in the early stages causing NOBLE FANTASY (5), CHAIR UP (4) and ROYAL BASH (3) to be hampered. CHAIR UP was again tightened into the bend losing ground with NOBLE FANTASY inconvenienced. On the bend MAGIC DOZER continued to angle inwards causing SPRINKLES (8) to run inwards colliding with CHAIR UP.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR COCO (8) was last to jump. MAJESTIC ACTION (4) received a slight check in the early stages when running inwards and briefly contacting the hind quarters of STEEL THE GOLD (3). MAJESTIC ACTION checked outwards off heels on the first bend with OPAWA BORN (2) and SUSAN JEWEL (7) both pushed very wide as a result. MAJESTIC ACTION shifted marginally outwards at the end of the back straight placing OAK SPUR (6) in restricted room with this runner being badly checked and hampering SUSAN JEWEL. OAK SPUR and SUSAN JEWEL were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	SALLY (3) drifted out in the early stages and dropped to a clear last with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment. SALLY was found to have abdominal muscle soreness with a 28 day stand down recommended. On the bend RIO ACTION (6) checked outwards off the heels of RAINCHECK (8) and lost ground.
Race 6	Yella Mustard At Stud Dash - C1 - 295	TRACEY (3) and SEA SPRAY ELSA (2) came together in the early stages. At the end of the back straight TRACEY ran inwards badly checking SEA SPRAY ELSA which hit the rail and lost ground. GOLDSTAR ROSIE (4) was tightened into the bend and lost ground after LUCAS SCOTT (1) had shifted up the track. FOXY BABE (6) and DEFINITE (5) were also hampered in this incident and lost ground. DEFINITE then ran inwards on the bend badly checking FOXY BABE which lost more ground. FOXY BABE and SEA SPRAY ELSA were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormality.
Race 7	Chris & Lisa Earl Stakes - C1 - 520	This race was delayed by one minute at the request of the TAB. PATTY'S PICK (6) was tightened in the early stages dropping to the rear. On the first bend WHIP UPPA STORM (7) angled inwards pushing BLACK SAILS (5) down the track on to OPAWA STELLA (1). OPAWA STELLA then attempted to run outwards and was turned sideways with WHIP UPPA STORM and ESTER ACTION (8) being forced wider on the track. BLACK SAILS was checked in behind these runners. PATTY'S PICK was held up for room entering the back straight and ran outwards checking BLACK SAILS.
Race 8	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	MAX BRAINSTRAIN (5) and JEWEL APACHE (7) dwelt at the jump. ZIPPORA BLAZE (3) was awkwardly away and ran outwards on dispatch checking UNO JAMES (4). MISS JOLT (6) was tightened into the bend losing ground. As MISS JOLT lost ground she collided with JEWEL APACHE and dropped to a clear last. MISS JOLT was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a hock strain. UNO JAMES raced wide into and around the bend. MAX BRAINSTRAIN raced wide in the home straight.
Race 9	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C1 - 295	BHUJA (3) was awkwardly away. CAWBOURNE SHADOW (7) ran inwards in the early stages checking STAR APACHE (6) and DREAM ACADEMY (9/5). DREAM ACADEMY checked off the heels of JACKPOT JAKE (2) into the bend and lost ground. JACKPOT JAKE was checked and lost ground on the bend resulting in DREAM ACADEMY and STAR APACHE being forced wider on the track.
Race 10	Garden City Chem-Dry Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR JAGGER (2) and RICH ACTION (8) were the last pair at the jump. BOTANY LIZ (7) ran inwards in the early stages simultaneously to OPAWA BUCKS EYE (1) shifting up the track with PLUTONIUM (3) and PRIVATE ACTION (4) both being checked in between these runners. Into the first bend ANOTHER CRUISE (9/6) ran inwards colliding with OPAWA BUCKS EYE which lost ground. On the first bend PLUTONIUM ran outwards and was checked by the trailing JINJA SQUEAK (5). PRIVATE ACTION and PLUTONIUM came together for a stride entering the back straight with both runners losing momentum. OPAWA BUCKS EYE ran wide in the back straight.
Race 11	DogZone Sprint - C1 - 295	COLERIDGE JIM (7) and JOHNNYBRUCE (8) were slow to jump. KRISTA BARISTA (6) angled inwards into the bend tightening CHIPPY JORDY (3) and HIGH ON VEE (2). As HIGH ON VEE lost ground BLAZING HOT (1) angled outwards to obtain clear room and checked COLERIDGE JIM and BROOKE DAVIS (4) with KINLOCH ACTION (5) forced wide. On the bend CHIPPY JORDY ran inwards badly tightening HIGH ON VEE which lost ground and checked the trailing COLERIDGE JIM which lost its chance.
Race 12	Protexin Dash - C1 - 295	PEYTON SAWYER (2), JINNO GINO (6) and KABLITZ (9/8) were the last trio at the jump. On the bend ARCHIES DIJON (4) ran inwards badly checking HOMEBUSH JUSTINE (1) with ARCHIES DIJON falling. INFERNAL MAJESTY (5) was forced wide and badly checked KABLITZ with this pair also falling and forcing PEYTON SAWYER very wide with this bitch losing her chance. JINNO GINO ran very wide on the home turn. Of the interfered runners INFERNAL MAJESTY was found to have a wrist strain with the others cleared of injury.
