Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer M.Flipp was fined $ 150-00 under the provisions of Rule 64.3 when OPAWA LEIGH was not presented to race. After hearing submissions from Trainer Flipp, and taking into account the provisions of Rule 64.7, no stand down was imposed on OPAWA LEIGH on this occasion.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	BILLY MARLOW began awkwardly losing four lengths but he recovered well to make up ground for 4th placing. WRONG NUMBER, ANOTHER JET and CAWBOURNE ESKI jostled together soon after the start and were unbalanced for a short distance. WRONG NUMBER, EVA'S STORM and WALNUT raced very wide on the bend and into the home straight covering extra ground and finished well back. BILLY MARLOW was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a nail bed injury.
Race 2	Personal Protection Services C1 - C1 - 375	COOL DEXTER and KENNEL BOY were slow to begin losing four lengths. KENNEL BOY made up ground well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH BOUNCE shifted out on the bend and caused checks to LICK IT UP and WORKING JEWEL which both lost three lengths and HOMEBUSH BOUNCE also lost ground in the incident. REPEAT VISIT was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back for most of the race and finished in last place.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	BARRA BOY was very slow to begin losing four lengths but made up ground for 3rd place. PISTOLS PRINCESS shifted out on the bend and caused checks to BUSINESS REVIEW and MISS HOOK which lost ground. PISTOLS PRINCESS was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have quadricep muscle pain.
Race 5	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C2 - C2 - 375	PREMIER PRINCE began awkwardly and a soon after the start, he checked off the back of CAWBOURNE GABLE and lost a length but made up ground for 3rd placing. MANGAMAHU JACK was awkwardly placed between CAWBOURNE PEEJAY and CAWBOURNE GEORGE on the bend and was held up for some distance.
Race 6	Manawatu Harness Racing March 1st - C2 - 375	CHOCDEE ALICE shifted in going to the first turn and crowded CAWBOURNE LOCH which lost its position adjacent to the rail and went back to near last. CAWBOURNE LOCH then made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 7	Juvenile Stakes - SPECA - 457	COCOA BEAR was tightened between runners and checked soon after the start and he settled back. COCOA BEAR then moved out and checked over the heels of VIVA LA VIXEN on the home turn and lost three lengths.
Race 8	Buck Fever At Stud C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	WINSOME JENNY shifted in going into the bend and hampered AYRA STARK which lost ground. A short distance further on, AYRA STARK checked off the back of WINSOME JENNY and shifted out making contact with PURE LEE and they both lost three lengths. Approaching the home turn, NERO shifted out and caused checks to AYRA STARK and PURE LEE with all three becoming unbalanced and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	OLLIESAURUS shifted in going into the bend and crowded THAT'S KING which lost ground and went back onto CAWBOURNE SPREE and they lost three lengths. A short distance further on, MALAKAI MAGIC faltered and drifted back to eventually finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. MALAKAI MAGIC was found to have pectoral muscle pain.
Race 10	wheeldeal.co.nz C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	Movement in from runners drawn out wide resulted in tightening soon after the start to BIGTIME REDFOO and COSMIC SCRAMBLE and they went back to the rear.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C3 - C3 - 375	HOMEBUSH GINGER shifted in going into the bend and hampered LADY ZEENA which clipped heels and blundered and she went back onto UNLIKELY ATTACK and they lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 12	Affordable Pet Accessories C1 - C1 - 457	CAWBOURNE OHIO began awkwardly losing ground and settled at the rear. YOU'RE SO FREE was awkwardly placed in restricted room between GOODTIME MIKE and LAGOON VICTORY going into the bend and was shuffled back to the rear where she stayed for the remainder of the race.
