Track: Good Initial concerns over the hardness of some areas of the track were addressed by the Club prior to Race 1 with the track being well maintained and watered throughout the meeting. All equipment operated satisfactorily.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: R Blackburn was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 71.4 for failing to be in attendance at the catching area following the running of Race 7.

Race 1	Carol's TABS Sprint - C2 - 318	FRANKINCENSE (7) was slow early. LADY JANE (4) was inconvenienced shortly after the start when having to check off the heels of MORE SALT NEEDED (5). THRILLING WIGGLE (3) was checked and fell approaching the first turn when racing between MORE SALT NEEDED and SCOTT NO VALUE (2). MORE SALT NEEDED and DIPSY LALA (8) then came together entering the turn with DIPSY LALA going back onto FRANKINCENSE, which was checked and forced wide. THRILLING WIGGLE was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed a sore left wrist and deltoid with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 2	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C1 - 318	STAINLESS KNOCKA (8) was slow to jump. MOCKING JAY (6) shifted in entering the first turn forcing YOU BETCHA NODDY (4) down onto SPOTTED FLYER (2) and KAPAI LANA (1) which were both checked and lost ground. Shortly after JETSUN STORM (7) angled down onto MOCKING JAY and then shifted outwards hampering STAINLESS KNOCKA for several strides.
Race 3	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C1/2 - 318	PLENTY OF TIME (3) and CHOCKA ME WALLET (4) came together shortly after jumping. TOXIC REVENGE (2) shifted out early contacting PLENTY OF TIME with TOXIC REVENGE losing several lengths. PRAIRE KACHINA (8) lost ground on the bend when getting onto the hind quarters of ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (1). CHOCKA ME WALLET shifted out on the home turn forcing PLENTY OF TIME wider on the track. TOXIC REVENGE ran wide on the home turn when at the rear.
Race 4	Plasterboard Auckland Cup Heat 1 - C5q - 527 Heat 1	KNOW HERO (6) and MARLISA (7) came together briefly approaching the first turn with MARLISA then tailing the field. MARLISA was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed an injury to the left hock with a 28 day stand down imposed. CHIPPA LATA (4) and MISS ELDORA (5) came together briefly on the first turn.
Race 5	Plasterboard Auckland Cup Heat 2 - C5q - 527 Heat 2	CAWBOURNE CLOVER (2) was slow to jump. FABIO (7) shifted out entering the first turn checking BOSTON HEART (8) for some strides with both runners losing ground. SCODELARIO (6) had to check off the heels of CAWBOURNE CLOVER on the home turn checking BOSTON HEART. SCODELARIO underwent a Veterinary examination following this event which revealed a sore right long head triceps with a 14 day stand down imposed.
Race 6	Plasterboard Auckland Cup Heat 3 - C5q - 527 Heat 3	ALLMENDINGER (2) was slow to begin. DYNA VIKKERS (5), MISS VELOCETTE (6) and DR ROBBIE (7) came together and jostled shortly after the start. GOLD CLASS (4) and DYNA VIKKERS then came into contact for several strides. DYNA VIKKERS was further hampered entering the first turn when to the inside of MISS VELOCETTE before angling down to the rail checking ALLMENDINGER, which lost ground. JOE JOE (1) had to check off the heels of ABSINTHE MINDED (3) which angled down to the rail on the first turn. DR ROBBIE and FANTASTIC SID (8) came together on several occasions on the first turn. ABSINTHE MINDED shifted out and contacted FANTASTIC SID on straightening for the run home.
Race 7	Plasterboard Auckland Cup Heat 4 - C5q - 527 Heat 4	ZIPPING EXPRESS (1) and CAWBOURNE BRICK (2) came together shortly after jumping. BRALYN CHARLIE (9 - Box 6) was slow early. ELECTRIC IMPULE (7) was checked entering the first turn when SPRINGVALE HARRY (8) shifted in. LET'S GO LETTIE (3) and CAWBOURNE BRICK then came together with LET'S GO LETTIE then shifting out checking SPRINGVALE HARRY. ZIPPING EXPRESS was checked on the first turn when coming into contact with KNOW ANSWER (4), with ZIPPING EXPRESS faltering and going back onto ELECTRIC IMPULSE which was checked for several strides. ZIPPING EXPRESS took no further part and was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed an injury to the right hock with a 60 day stand down imposed. LET'S GO LETTIE lost a length on the final turn when racing to the outside of SPRINGVALE HARRY.
Race 8	Plasterboard Auckland Cup Heat 5 - C5q - 527 Heat 5	CAESAR CHANCE (7) was slow early. KNOW DECISION (3) and CAESAR CHANCE came together entering the first turn. TAKAMORI (1) had to check off the heels of ARCTIC ACTION (4) approaching the back straight. TAKAMORI was hampered by the weakening CAWBOURNE CROUCH (6) on the final turn and went back onto CAESAR CHANCE which was checked for a stride.
Race 9	Railway Sprint Heat 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1	JEWEL ACTION (2) and SOLARIAN (3) came together briefly shortly after the start with JEWEL ACTION losing ground entering the first turn when SOLARIAN angled down to the rail. LOVING THE MIX (1) was checked after contacting the hind quarters of THRILLING GALAXY (4) approaching the first turn and then faltered badly when racing between SPEEDY BEAT (6) and SOLARIAN (3) further on into the bend, with LOVING THE MIX taking no further part. LOVING MIX was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed a torn left biceps tendon with a 60 day stand down imposed.
Race 10	Railway Sprint Heat 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 2	BRITNEY STAR (4) and JAY LOW (5) came together shortly after the start with BRITNEY STAR losing ground before shifting out forcing RITZA ROMAN (3) onto GOOD RETURN (6). JAY LOW then shifted down onto MADE TIME (2) entering the bend and became unbalanced before going back onto GOOD RETURN with BRITNEY STAR then galloping onto the hind quarters of JAY LOW, which was dragged down and fell. OPTIC SHIMMER (7) and RITZA ROMAN were hampered in this incident with BRITNEY STAR losing its chance. JAY LOW was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have sustained an injury to the right hock.
Race 11	Railway Sprint Heat 3 - C5q - 318 Heat 3	ROCKIN' FANCY (4) and HALLO STAR (5) came together shortly after the start with ROCKIN' FANCY then shifting down onto UMAGA RAMA which was inconvenienced for a stride.
Race 12	Railway Sprint Heat 4 - C5q - 318 Heat 4	YEBOAH (4) was a late scratching at 5.39pm by Stewards at the request of Owner Mr A Potts sighting dissatisfaction with the condition of the track. SANDOR GLEGANE (6), WILD EFFECTIVE (3) and VON TRAPP (2) came together and jostled shortly after the start with the latter two runners losing ground.
