| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305 | ALCUDIA dwelt at the start and lost a length. She then shifted out and bumped with BUSINESS REVIEW and they settled back. BUSINESS REVIEW shifted in abruptly going into the bend and caused tightening and checks to BLAZE'S CORPORAL and ALCUDIA. ALCUDIA then shifted out and forced HOMEBUSH BOUNCE wide over extra ground on the bend. |
| Race 2 | LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305 | KENNEL BOY was slow to begin losing four lengths but recovered to finish well for 2nd placing. LIZ WATTO and PACIFIC VIBE jostled together for some distance going to the first turn and they eventually checked losing several lengths. GUMMY GUMPSTA which was following was also checked and shifted out to race very wide on the bend and into the home straight. |
| Race 3 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305 | ALAMEIN DUKE began awkwardly and went up with the box lids losing two lengths and he stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place. PREMIER PRINCE raced wide covering extra ground but kept up a strong gallop to finish in 2nd place. The favourite KNOCKA FEW BACK was hampered when racing between DOWNGRADE KING and PREMIER PRINCE going in to the bend and lost a length. KNOCKA FEW BACK was then checked when making contact with TAKEAWAY on the home turn and he was unbalanced and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 4 | ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 520 | COCOA BEAR began awkwardly losing three lengths and settled back. He then collided with ALAMEIN JUDE on the first bend and lost a further three lengths and stayed well back until the finish. OLLIE BAXTER raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 5 | FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 305 | NERO and FREEDOM FLYER were the slowest to begin and settled back but NERO recovered and made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. General tightening soon after the start resulted in WILD EFFECTIVE, NERO, CHEAP SHOT MATTY, AL'S GIRL and FREEDOM FLYER being hampered and losing ground. |
| Race 6 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305 | MEAT DAMON and MANGAMAHU JACK were the slowest to begin losing two lengths but MANGAMAHU JACK recovered quickly and went on to win the race. SHELLY MCBELL shifted in soon after the start and jostled with MEAT DAMON and MARIAH for several strides until SHELLY MCBELL was checked and fell. MEAT DAMON and MARIAH lost several lengths and all chance and SHELLY MCBELL regained her feet, finished on to the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 7 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305 | MAGIC DANDY was squeezed for room going to the first corner when runners drawn wider on the track shifted in towards the rail and he was shuffled back to the rear. MAGIC DANDY shifted out abruptly entering the home straight and hampered SNOW BALL CHANCE and SNOW DEMON which were both unbalanced. SNOW DEMON shared the lead in the early and middle stages but then drifted and finished several lengths last. SNOW DEMON was uncomfortable in her galloping action and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have gracilis muscle pain. |
| Race 8 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITIION C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | AUTUMN LIGHTS checked over the heels of INDEFINITE ORDER going into the first bend and shifted out onto MAGIC WHITELOCK and they both lost four lengths. |
| Race 9 | KEENAN CONCRETE C3 - C3 - 305 | RUA RAMA and BRILLIANT ASHLEE were the slowest away from the boxes and lost a length. BRILLIANT ASHLEE and BRILLIANT JAYLA bumped together going into the bend and were briefly unbalanced. A short distance further on CAWBOURNE NEVADA and EMPTY BANK collided and they both fell and RUA RAMA was severely hampered in the incident. CAWBOURNE NEVADA and EMPTY BANK were referred to the Vet for assessment and EMPTY BANK was found to have a tricep muscle injury. CAWBOURNE NEVADA was found to have wrist and gracilis muscle pain. |
| Race 10 | AON CPF C3/4 - C3/4 - 520 | ZIPPING JOCK was slow to begin and settled back. ALAMEIN BLONDE was crowded and lost a length going into the first corner. CHECK THE MAIL checked over the back of DOUBLE ENTENDRE going into the first bend and shifted out checking ZIPPING JOCK and ALAMEIN BLONDE and they almost fell and lost all chance. CHECK THE MAIL was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a fractured toe. |
| Race 11 | INTERISLANDER C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | VITO BAXTER shifted in going into the bend and crowded WHEELIE RASCAL which lost her position and went back to last. WHEELIE RASCAL then shifted out to race wide covering extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | ALLEGRO ALL GO and RAPPER DASH bumped together and were briefly unbalanced a short distance after the start. |
