Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well groomed through out the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights.
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: J T McInerney kennels were fined $100-00 rule 69.11 after ANOTHER CRUISE race 8 weighed in 1.9 kgs down from his last race weight on 26-1-2106

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL CO Ht1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	UNO NIGEL box 2 went up with the lids being slow away . Racing in to the first bend NITEHAWK ROSE angled across on to UNO NIGEL, both runners jostled for a couple of strides when racing towards the rear. Racing in to the bend NITEHAWK ROSE was checked and hampered when making contact with the hind of EVA'S STORM pushing this runner out over the heels of WATCH THAT GYPSY. UNO NIGEL after a poor start made good ground in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 2	LASER PLUMBING CO Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	TERRA TRIP ( fav ) wasn't best away from the boxes. Racing in to the first bend TERRA TRIP was checked as BILLY MARLOW angled in slightly. TERRA TRIP was held up when racing behind NANA'S GIRL across the top bend. TERRA TRIP was unable to quicken in the run home finishing in 5th placing at the line.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI CO Ht3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	EVE NING HILL was 2.4 kgs up from her last race star on 28-12-2105 and was vetted clear to start. THATZ MARION was slowest away by several lengths. IF IT FITZ vying for the lead in to the first bend was checked as EVE NING HILL moved inwards . IF IT FITZ bumped the hind of SEDGEBROOK ASSET slightly going off balance for a couple of strides losing ground back to midfield. On the outer racing on to the bend TOTES ran out sharply off the heels of IF IT FITZ checking OPAWA MAF out on to DARK WITCH and THATZ MARION ,all these runners ran wide at this point.
Race 4	KEENAN CONCRETE C0 Ht4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	PICKERING was 2 kgs up today from his last race on 6-1-2016 and was vetted clear to start. PICKERING ,WINE O'CLOCK and ANOTHER RELM were all slow away. Racing in to the first bend SWIRLING EDDIE cut in across the face of WINE O'CLOCK causing this runner to check outwards sharply on to ANOTHER RELM resulting in these runners racing wide across the top bend. HOMEBUSH FREDDO ran outwards in to the home straight becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides coming together with SCOTT NO SHOW both dogs raced tight together to the line. HOMEBUSH FREDDO was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 5	THE CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520	JAYBE ALBIE ( fav ) was only fairly away from the boxes racing back off midfield in to the bend on the first occasion. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion SCOTT SOME TICKA angled across on to ZOE'S FUNK jostling with this runner for some strides. KENTUCKEY DOLL raced in the rear through finishing in last placing at the line. KENTUCKEY DOLL was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. Mrs S Gommans Trainer of KENTUCKEY DOLL was spoken to in regards of the dogs performance today where the Stewards were informed that the dog has been having some seasonal issues. The Stewards will be expecting an improved performance from this dog at her next start.
Race 6	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion GOODTIME MIKE angled outwards running in to the hind of RUBBED OUT and out bumping WAIRIO DEE JAY widest at this point. WAIRIO DEE JAY raced wide there after finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	Racing in to the first bend BUZZY AS was tightened and checked as QUEEN STAR raced to the lead angling across forcing BUZZY AS in on to LICK IT UP and SPOT ON MAGGIE, these three runner all lost ground back towards the rear, LICK IT UP and SPOT ON MAGGIE were further hampered when going back as BIGTIME DASHER raced past angling inwards. BLAZING HOT having first start at this track ran very wide in to the first bend.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	ANOTHER CRUISE was 1.9 kgs down from his last race start on 26-1-2016 and was vetted clear to start. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion ALAMEIN JAH angled out off heels bumping in to ANOTHER CRUISE and OPAWA GAVIN forcing these runners widest around the bend. OPAWA GAVIN after being well back in to the back staright recovered well to finish in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 9	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 305	DON'T BRAG ( fav ) from box 8 was poorly away, being several lengths in the rear in to the first bend. DON'T BRAG when attempting to improve was forced to race wide around runners as SCOTT TO GO came out on to MALIGNED, and UNO MARGUERITE forcing DON'T BRAG out wider across the top bend. DON'T BRAG covered a fair amount of extra ground there after finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	ELUSIVE BABE began awkwardly from box 8. OPAWA JEMAINE ( fav ) from box 4 was only fairly away racing towards the rear in to the first bend. OPAWA JEMAINE was hampered for a few strides racing around the bend on the first occasion racing midfield along the back straight finishing well in the latter stages in to 3rd placing at the line. Wider out racing in to the bend on the first occasion JINJA MIA ran on to the hind of BOTANY LIZ checking outwards running in to ELUSIVE BABE who ran out under the neck of BILL RUSH checking this runner to the outer of the track. BILL RUSH although chasing hard there after had lost all chance coming home in the rear at the line.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	Racing away from the start GULLY CRUSHER moved outwards across the face of KAPAI LANA as DOOSH angled in pushing WALLY BAXTER in on to KAPAI LANA. GUMMY GUMSTA box 1 after a fair start improved towards the leaders racing in to the first bend where he angled out to be the widest runner across the top bend and in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing wide out in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	GULLY YAPPA went up with the lids missing the start by several lengths. Racing across the top bend SO UNBELIEVABLE racing handy wasn't able to gain clearing room between WORBOYS and HOMEBUSH FLYTE on his outer coming together checking SO UNBELIEVABLE back in to the body of the field. When getting clear of runners SO UNBELIEVABLE was forced to race wide when improving finishing well in the run home in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	Soon after the start SCOTT NO ODDS and BLAZE'S CORPORAL raced across tightening PEEJAY PRINGLES, KENTARO BAXTER, ANOTHER KEY and SMART DANDY in together all bumping and jostling checking these runners back a couple of lengths. Racing in to the first bend BLAZE'S CORPORAL angled in across the racing line of ANOTHER KEY who went back on to SMART DANDY with this runner going back to the rear and running out wide on to the top bend. Nearing the home turn RANGERS WALTZ angled in bumping the shoulder of PEEJAY PRINGLES resulting in PEEJAY PRINGLES going back out over the heels of RANGERS WALTZ both dogs lost momentum finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	DALLAS BAXTER was a late scratching after becoming unwell shortly before leaving for the track. Racing from the boxes BRILLIANT AVA box 8 raced across pushing LIZ WATTO in on to HOMEBUSH DOBBY, SECOND TIME, IVANHOV and KIRIBATI GIRL. Racing in to the first bend BRILLIANT AVA bumped in to the side of SECOND TIME turning this runner sideways for a stride or so, wider out LIZ WATTO came out taking KIRIBATI GIRL widest on to the bend.
Race 15	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE HINT box 1 went up with the lids. Racing in to the first bend DREAMZONE racing to the lead angled across tightening SPRINKLES in on to WITCH MISTY and HOMEBUSH LIMBO. Wider out OPAL JEWEL angled in on to the shoulder of OPAWA BINGE with these runners going widest on to the bend. CAWBOURNE HINT after a poor start made good ground to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
