Entering the home straight VINTAGE OSTI (8) collided with the hindquarters of MYRNIONG GIRL (4) which was unbalanced. |
| Race 2 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C0 - 318 | LIL MISS NITRO (3) ran outwards soon after the start colliding with BIT RUBY (4) which was further hampered when crowded between LIL MISS NITRO and SCOTT SOME TICKA (5) which ran inwards abruptly. SCOTT SOME TICKA ran inwards again through the early stages briefly hampering SAVED BY LOVE (2). BIT RUBY was crowded approaching the bend between LIL MISS NITRO and TAKE ACTION (7), both of which shifted ground. SCOTT SOME TICKA checked outwards across the heels of HOT STAR (6) rounding the bend, resulting in MEAN AS MENA (8) being pushed wider. LIL MISS NITRO ran wide rounding the bend hampering TAKE ACTION which had to check when awkwardly near the heels of MEAN AS MENA. |
| Race 3 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318 | KAPAI LANA (8) was last to jump. BOTANY HOT SHOT (3), CONTEMPORANEOUS (4) and PREOCCUPIED (9/5) were crowded in the early stages between CALM NUSKA (2) and THRILLING FOREST (6) both of which shifted ground abruptly, with BOTANY HOT SHOT losing ground. THRILLING FOREST ran inwards rounding the bend crowding CALM NUSKA which lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C2 - 318 | GO ANDWYN (4) was slow to jump, with this greyhound being further hampered when colliding with NEED MAGIC (6) which ran inwards. PRAIRIE KACHINA (3) was crowded soon after the start between NO MORE DEBT (2) and FORTIS FIONA (5) which ran inwards. |

OPAWA BINGE (3) checked outwards across the heels of QUEEN STAR (1) entering the bend, inconveniencing PLAITING PUSS (4). QUEEN STAR was checked soon after when awkwardly near the heels of SCOTT MY MONEY which ran inwards toward the running line. |

ZALIA (3) and APRIL'S MY MUM raced in restricted room entering the first bend, with ZALIA becoming awkwardly placed near the heels of LOCHINVAR MAINE for a distance. |
| Race 7 | Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C1 - 318 | STAINLESS KNOCKA (4) was inclined to run wide rounding the bend. COSMIC WARRA (2) went off stride into the bend and appeared indifferent in its action thereafter. Due to the lack of video coverage it could not be ascertained as to whether COSMIC WARRA had received interference by ASTA (8) which had raced to the outside. COSMIC WARRA was referred to the veterinarian for assessment. RED RASCAL (7) ran inwards upon straightening crowding SCOTT NO LIMBS (5) which had to check outwards across that runners heels to obtain clear running. RED RASCAL then collided with JETSUN STORM (9/3), with RED RASCAL becoming unbalanced. |
| Race 8 | Roddy Pain Memorial Stakes - C2 - 527 | THRILLING EVIE (2) was slow to jump. THRILLING RIOT (1) raced in restricted room approaching the first bend. KIMETTO (3) and THRILLING RIOT came together and bumped in the early stages of the home straight. When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance of OUR SAMBO (5), Trainer M Lozell explained that the dog had not received all favors during the running in its most recent starts and was able to capitalise today after receiving an uninterrupted run. |
| Race 9 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | ATOM BOMB (9/1) ran outwards approaching the first bend colliding with NEW LOOK (6) which in turn bumped with KITTY'S SHIRAZ (7). TRIPLE PARKED (5) clipped the heel of GOLD CLASS (3) rounding the first bend and stumbled becoming unbalanced briefly. LAKERVILLE (8) had to check momentarily along the back straight when awkwardly near the heels of GOLD CLASS. |
| Race 10 | Carol's TAB Manurewa Sprint - C3 - 318 | RASSO (1) and JACK ROB (7) were last to jump. RASSO then ran outwards through the early stages jostling with JACK ROB and PRETTY CHIC (8). CALL ME BLUE (9/4) ran inwards from the boxes colliding with UMAGA RAMA (3). CALL ME BLUE and UMAGA RAMA bumped approaching the bend resulting in CALL ME BLUE being turned inwards momentarily. CALL ME BLUE was then severely tightened between UMAGA RAMA and WAERENGA STAR (5) which ran inwards. FRESCO STAR (6) which trailed ran outwards when taking evasive action to avoid heels resulting in RASSO being hampered and forced into the line of PRETTY CHIC which had to check. CALL ME BLUE was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed a torn left-hind gracilis. |
| Race 11 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C5 - 318 | MADE TIME (3), NANGAR STAR (4), LITTLE RASCAL (6) and THRILLING GALAXY (7) were crowded soon after the start between HALLO STAR (8) and BRITNEY STAR (2) both of which shifted ground abruptly, with NANGAR STAR and LITTLE RASCAL losing ground. BRITNEY STAR was inclined to run outwards through the early stages and rounding the bend jostling with THRILLING GALAXY and pushing MADE TIME wider on the track. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | TRINITY FLIGHT (4) was slow to jump. WEE PING WAWA (3) raced in restricted room approaching the bend between JUST ABOUT READY (2) and MALIGNED (5). JACQUI ATTACK (8) gave ground rapidly rounding the bend when free of interference coming back onto the trailing TRINITY FLIGHT (4) and JUST ABOUT READY (2) both of which were inconvenienced. JACQUI ATTACK was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed hip-support soreness to the right-hind, with a 21-day stand down period imposed. |
