Judicial report: Trainer J McInerney was issued a minor infringment notice and fined the sum of $100.00 for presenting DEVILSKIN (Race 7) up 1.6kgs from its last recorded weight.

Race 1	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C0 - 390	UNO NIGEL (9/7) was squeezed between UNO NATHAN (6) and FANCY NOMIKAI (8) shortly after the start. UNO NATHAN and UNO NIGEL then bumped prior to the bend. CAWBOURNE CRAIG (4) came out and contacted FANCY NOMIKAI when racing into the bend. ANOTHER RELM (2) came out onto OBEYANCE(3) when also racing into the bend.
Race 2	greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 457	JON SNOW LIVES (5) came outwards after the start and contacted REALITY (10/7) with HILTON CUST (9/8) being inconvenienced. HOMEBUSH FREDDO (2) came outwards at the start making contact with OPAWA LIBBY (4). OPAWA BUCK (1) , SLYNESS (6) and HOMEBUSH FREDDO then jostled racing towards the bend. OPAWA BUCK faltered when obliged to check off the heals of OPAWA LIBBY (4) rounding the bend with this causing an inconvenience to HILTON CUST.OPAWA BUCK was cleared of injury by the on course vet. JIN SNOW LIVES and REALITY jostled when racing round the bend. Racing into the home straight OPAWA POPPY was severely turned and dragged down by REALITY which was racing to its inside with JON SNOW LIVES receiving a slight check. OPAWA POPPY was cleared of injury by the on course vet. Co-Trainer R Wales advised he would restrict OPAWA POPPY to sprint distance racing in the future.
Race 3	SGRC $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLES - C1 - 390	UNRELIABLE ANDY (4) came inwards at the start and crowded the racing room of THRILLING SHRIMP (9/2) and HOMEBUSH ERROL(3). Racing round the bend CAWBOURNE OHIO (8) came down the track causing CHAIR UP (6) to check and lose ground with HOMEBUSH ERROL being slightly inconvenienced. CHAIR UP was cleared of any injury by the on course vet. HIS NIBS (1) and CAWBOURNE OHIO bumped when racing into the home straight.
Race 4	WOODEND SPRINT - C1 - 390	SMOKING MARLEY (4) and then EUG THE SCROOGE (5) both came inwards at the start and impeded the racing room of PROTONIC PEDRO (3). HOMEBUSH BRUNO (2) and MAX STIX(1) jostled when racing towards the bend. SMOKING MARLEY then came up the track forcing STARBURST EMMA (6) in restricted room to the inside of SOUTHERN AFFAIR (8) which was coming down the track. EUG THE SCROOGE raced up the track after improving to the outside of SOUTHERN AFFAIR rounding the bend causing STARBURST EMMA to check.
Race 5	ORETI BEACH STAKES - C1 - 457	REGALYN (7) came inwards at the start placing TAMARA MAY (4) and CAWBOURNE KIN (3) in restricted room. CAWBOURNE KIN then checked over the heals of REGALYN and bumped out onto TAMARA MAY with these two dogs then jostling racing towards the bend.
Race 6	HAPPY 6TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY JASON & MEGAN TEAZ - C1 - 390	GLORY HOG (6) came inward at the start forcing OPAWA PERISSA (5) down onto ALBIE MCLEOD (10/4) with both these dogs losing ground. GLORY HOG was then slightly turned outwards by JOEY BAXTER (2) when racing into the bend resulting in JOEY BAXTER losing ground and causing a check to NO BRO (8).
Race 7	SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C1 - 390	TIMELY REMINDER (7) missed the jump by an extreme distance. FRECKLE FLYER (4) and ACE BALE (8) were slow to jump. Racing into the bend SLEEPER AGENT (3) had to check off the heals of ACE BALE. SLEEPER AGENT was then turned severely when racing to the inside of TIMELY REMINDER (7) after being forced off the heals of DEVILSKIN(6). A post race veterinary examination revealed no injury to SLEEPER AGENT.
Race 8	ASCOT PARK CONSORTIUM - C3 - 390	BOTANY RICHIE (10/4) and EXPECT DELAY(3) bumped through the early stages. LAGOON BALE (5) came down and contacted EXPECT DELAYS prior to the bend. BOTANY RICHIE also came down the track prior to the bend causing THRILLING SPELL (9/2) to check, THRILLING SPELL was cleared of injury by the on course vet. Racing into the bend LAGOON BALE, EXPECT DELAY and ANOTHER FAN (1) were all placed in restricted room by LOTS OF BEERSIES (6) who was coming down the track.
Race 9	HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEKS - C3/4 - 390	GOSSIP QUEEN (5) and REPLAY (8) were slow to jump. IMPERSONATOR (1) and HARKONEN BALE (2) bumped on several occasions leading up to the bend. ABRASADOR (4) came down the track prior to the bend placing WUNZEE (3) in restricted room to the outside of IMPERSONATOR and HARKONEN BALE with IMPERSONATOR and WUNZEE losing momentum.
Race 10	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1/2 - 457	BIRCHBROOK (2) and THRILLING LUKE (4) were both slow to jump. HIP HOP SOFIA (6) struggled to maintain its position with the field from the start of the bend. When questioned regarding this Kennel representative P Seque advised he was of the belief that this bitch failed to handle racing against dogs accessed at a higher grade. THRILLING LUKE was held up for racing room rounding the bend.
Race 11	CONGRATULATIONS POKER PLAYER - C3 - 390	HOMEBUSH RILEY (3) came inwards shortly after the start forcing STORMING NORM (2) down onto RED MARGIN (1).HOMEBUSH RILEY and CAWBOURNE KRISTY (4) then bumped racing towards the bend.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C5 - 390	TEE TIME (9/1) and MY FIRST LITTER (5) jostled in the run to the bend. TEE TIME was then turned inwards when contacted by BREAKING MAD (3) entering the bend and was again contacted from behind by LITTLE REGUS (4) rounding the bend. TEE TIME was cleared of injury by the on course vet.
Race 13	ADDED ENERGY - C4/5 - 457	BOTANY KEVIN (3) and SOUTHERN LIGHTS (4) were both slow to jump. OPAWA STRETCH (5) lost ground when placed in restricted room shortly after the start. BOUND TO ERUPT (8) was turned outward when placing ROADWORKS (2) in restricted room entering the bend. ROADWORKS then had to check off the heals of BOUND TO ERUPT rounding the bend with SOUTHERN LIGHTS being slightly inconvenienced.
Race 14	RACING AGAIN 23RD FEBRUARY - C2 - 390	APOLLO BAXTER (6) and ANOTHER KEY (5) were both slow to jump. MR. MARINE (4) was held up for racing room around the bend.
