| Race 1 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C0 - 318 | BROOKIES PARADISE (7) and HOT STAR (8) were slow away. DRUNKEN LADY (9) shifted in making contact with SAVED BY LOVE (4) soon after the start. DIVA POSE (6), SAVED BY LOVE, SCOTT SOME TICKA (3), BIT RUBY (2) and SCOTT NO SHOW (1) were all hampered when coming together entering the first turn in a compact line with SCOTT NO SHOW, SCOTT SOME TICKA and SAVED BY LOVE losing ground going back onto BROOKIES PARADISE with these runners all then unbalanced losing considerable ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was HOT STAR who shifted in making contact with the hindquarters of DIVA POSE. DRUNKEN LADY was inconvenienced shifting wide to obtain clear racing room rounding the first turn then continued to race wide for the remainder of the event. |
| Race 2 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C3/4 - 318 | SANDOR GLEGANE (5) angled in soon after the start making contact with FRESCO STAR (4) who was taken in onto GOLD CLASS (3) with these three runners then jostling for a distance losing ground. HALLO STAR (1) and CAWBOURNE STEVE (2) came together on several occasions racing down the back straight with HALLO STAR losing ground. Entering the first turn MELMAN (9) angled in making solid contact with CLAMPED (7) who was taken in onto SANDOR GLEGANE with these runners all unbalanced with CLAMPED then faltering badly taking no further part in the event. HALLO STAR and SANDOR GLEGANE came together rounding the bend. A post race veterinary examination of CLAMPED revealed an injury to the right hind leg. |
| Race 3 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C3 - 318 | JAY LOW (7) angled in soon after the start inconveniencing MYRNIONG GIRL (5),BAYMAX (4) and PEACOCK PRINCESS (3). MYRNIONG GIRL angled in entering the first turn dictating BAYMAX in onto PEACOCK PRINCESS with BAYMAX becoming unbalanced shifting out getting on the hindquarters of MYRNIONG GIRL who was badly unbalanced hampering CAWBOURNE GIL (6) and ANOTHER MISS (8) with these runners all shifting wide for a distance. Also hampered was CAWBOURNE WALES (1) who took evasive action shifting wide then getting on the heels of BAYMAX for a stride losing ground. MYRNIONG GIRL had to steady off the heels of ANOTHER MISS rounding the bend. |
| Race 4 | Sunline Trophy - Lochinvar Maine - C1 - 527 | THAT ICE COLD (4) and TULIP MUNCHER (6) were slow away. RUBY MURRAY (2), APRIL'S MY MUM (10) and JELLY GEM (5) came together losing ground soon after the start when JIANJALESS angled in making contact and tightening these runners. Entering the first turn APRIL'S MY MUM had to steady and shift out abruptly off the heels of TULIP MUNCHER who shifted in. RUBY MURRAY was tightened losing ground rounding the first turn. TULIP MUNCHER lost ground leaving the back straight with a subsequent veterinary examination revealing no abnormality. PERCENTAGE GIRL (1) and JINJALESS came together rounding the final bend. |
| Race 5 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C3 - 527 | WHAT THAT DOES (4), CAWBOURNE CLAY (6) and ELECTRIC IMPULSE (8) were all slow away. WHAT THAT DOES shifted out off heels rounding the first bend losing ground. CAWBOURNE CLAY had to steady off heels rounding the final bend losing ground. |
| Race 6 | DogZone Sprint - C1/2 - 318 | BIGTIME DASHER (8) was last to leave the boxes. WHERE'S CARLOS (6) and QUEEN STAR (5) angled in soon after the start tightening VARGA FROST (4) and YOU BETCHA NODDY (2) who then came together losing ground. VARGA FROST and BIGTIME DASHER made brief contact rounding the bend. BIGTIME DASHER raced wider rounding the final bend. |
| Race 7 | Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C4 - 318 | UMAGA RAMA (1), JINJA FANTASY (9) and IRISH BLUE (5) were last to leave the boxes. IRISH BLUE was momentarily inconvenienced soon after the start, shifting in across the heels of SKYLER WHITE (4). BRITNEY STAR (6) shifted out coming together with BROWN EYE BOY (7) on several occasions racing down the back straight. Entering the first turn SKYLER WHITE shifted in slightly into the line of JINJA FANTASY (9) who made solid contact with UMAGA RAMA with these runners becoming unbalanced with JINJA FANTASY then getting on the heels of SKYLER WHITE. As a result the unbalanced JINJA FANTASY shifted out onto IRISH BLUE who was taken wider on the track losing ground. UMAGA RAMA was held up on the heels of LEGERDEMAIN (10) for a distance rounding the bend before shifting out abruptly entering the final straight hampering SKYLER WHITE who shifted out inconveniencing JINJA FANTASY with these runners all losing ground. |
| Race 8 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C1 - 318 | CAWBOURNE BRAE (8) was last to leave the boxes. ASTA (5) and MORE SALT NEEDED (6) came together for several strides soon after leaving the boxes. MISS BUNNYTHORPE (2) raced in restricted room for a distance racing down the back straight before shifting out. Racing toward the first turn ASTA became unbalanced for several strides when awkwardly placed near the running rail with ASTA then shifting out inconveniencing MORE SALT NEEDED. SPOTTED FLYER (7) angled in entering the first turn making solid contact with SCOTT NO MONEY (4) with these runners then further inconvenienced losing ground when OUR SWIFT BUDDY (1) shifted out off heels coming together with these runners. MISS BUNNYTHORPE was checked losing ground rounding the first turn when CAWBOURNE BRAE shifted in into the line of this runner with MISS BUNNYTHORPE then going back onto MORE SALT NEEDED who was inconvenienced. SPOTTED FLYER was momentarily inconvenienced entering the final straight when OUR SWIFT BUDDY shifted slightly. |
| Race 9 | City Of Sails Sprint - C5f - 318 | ROCKIN' FANCY was a late scratching at 10.25am when illness was detected on arrival at the course. CAWBOURNE MATTY (1) and VON TRAPP (7) were slow away. RITZA ROMAN (5) shifted in slightly racing down the back straight tightening MADE TIME (3) and UP HIGH (4) who made brief contact. LITTLE RASCAL (2) steadied entering the first turn losing ground when racing in restricted room. VON TRAPP shifted out rounding the first turn getting on the heels of ZIPPING STEVE (8) with both runners momentarily unbalanced. |
| Race 10 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C1/2 - 318 | MR.JULES (2), EFFECTIVE POWER (6) and COOKIE MONSTER (7) were slow away. ZULU MERCEDES (3) shifted out off heels racing down the back straight losing ground. Racing into the first turn ZULU MERCEDES and TEPIRITA AMBER (8) came together losing ground. Entering the first turn, when in the lead, NEED MAGIC (4) and MISS ALLEGRO (9) made solid contact with both runners becoming unbalanced with MISS ALLEGRO going back onto MR. JULES becoming further unbalanced losing considerable ground with MISS ALLEGRO then also coming together with EFFECTIVE POWER. Rounding the final bend CAWBOURNE BUTTSY (5), NEED MAGIC and MR.JULES came together making solid contact with these three runners all unbalanced NEED MAGIC the worst affected losing considerable ground. MISS ALLEGRO underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed a toe injury to the left hind with a 42 day stand down imposed. NEED MAGIC was referred to the veterinarian with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 11 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C2 - 527 | BORIS GUMP (7) was slow away. STINGER (5) shifted in abruptly making solid contact with THRILLING RIOT (4) who was taken in onto PIRATE LORE (3) with these runners all unbalanced, jostling for several strides. THRILLING RIOT and STINGER then made contact on several occasions racing toward the first turn losing ground. Entering the first turn STINGER and THRILLING RIOT continued to make contact with BILL RUSH (9) then shifting in further inconveniencing these runners with THRILLING RIOT losing ground. STINGER, BILL RUSH and PIRATE LORE then came together for a distance rounding the first turn with PIRATE LORE and STINGER losing ground with PIRATE LORE going back into the line of THRILLING RIOT who got on this runners heels. PIRATE LORE gave ground racing down the back straight finishing some distance from the field with a post race veterinary examination revealing an injury to the right triceps with a 21 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 12 | Anniversary Day Cup - C5 - 527 | DR. ROBBIE (7) was slow away. CAWBOURNE BRICK (8) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with the hindquarters of CAWBOURNE CROUCH (6). MISS VELOCETTE (3) steadied soon after the start when placed in restricted room. Entering the first turn CHECK THE MAIL (1) attempted to shift out when in restricted room getting on the heels of YAP'S ME MUM who was unbalanced. Also hampered and taken wider as a result were DR. ROBBIE, MISS VELOCETTE and CAWBOURNE BRICK with these runners all losing ground. Soon after JOE JOE (2) had to shift out off the heels of CAWBOURNE CROUCH who shifted in with JOE JOE losing ground. DR. ROBBIE and CAWBOURNE BRICK made contact for a distance rounding the first bend losing ground. Entering the back straight YAP'S ME MUM was checked, shifting out abruptly off the heels of JOE JOE who shifted in. MISS VELOCETTE and CAWBOURNE BRICK came together entering the final straight when racing at the rear of the field. |
| Race 13 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318 | GO ANDWYN (2) was slow away. OPAWA BINGE (6) and HANNIBAL LECTER (9) made brief contact racing down the back straight. CHOCKA ME WALLET (8) made brief contact with the hindquarters of HANNIBAL LECTER entering the first turn. OPAWA BINGE shifted out off the heels of DIPSY LALA (5) rounding the first turn losing ground. GO ANDWYN shifted out rounding the final bend taking CHOCKA ME WALLET wider on the track. |
| Race 14 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | RED RASCAL (9) was slow away. SPEARMINT JUJU (6) and THRILLING FOREST (7) came together soon after the start. FRANKINCENSE (1) shifted out off the heels of NO MORE DEBT (2) racing down the back straight making contact with MALIGNED (5). Racing toward the first turn RED RASCAL, SPEARMINT JUJU and THRILLING FOREST came together and jostled for several strides with these runners then hampered when FRANKINCENSE shifted out abruptly making solid contact with these runners with all involved runners badly unbalanced losing considerable ground. Also hampered losing ground was CONTEMPORANEOUS who was racing to the outside of these runners at the time. FRANKINCENSE and THRILLING FOREST came together rounding the bend with FRANKINCENSE losing ground shifting out off this runners heels. Soon after RED RASCAL shifted out off the heels of THRILLING FOREST. THRILLING FOREST was referred to the veterinarian following this event with a laceration to the left hind with a 10 day stand down imposed. |
