| Race 1 | Merv Fahey Memorial - C3 - 295 | KNOW SALUTE (6) and OHOKA BILLY (7) were the last pair on settling. CANDYBOY (1) ran outwards into the bend placing ANOTHER FAN (3) and STRUGGLE IS REAL (4) in restricted room. OHOKA BILLY checked off heels on the bend and lost momentum with BOTANY ZENVO (8) forced wider on the track. ADROIT (5), CANDYBOY and STRUGGLE IS REAL all raced wide in the home straight. |
| Race 2 | Jackie McLay Memorial - C4 - 295 | This race was delayed due to the late running of a Geraldine harness event. TERRA MONDO (10) was last on settling. NORMAN JEWEL (3) was checked into the bend as GOOD GENES (4) crossed to the rail. This caused inconvenience to the trailing CAWBOURNE DOZER (1), IMPERSONATOR (2) and HUMAN INSTINCT (5) with this trio losing ground. NORMAN JEWEL was then checked and ran outwards badly hampering TERRA MONDO with this pair losing their chances. NORMAN JEWEL was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have stifle pain. |
| Race 3 | Gary Denovan Memorial - C3 - 520 | KNOW NEGLECT (2), CAWBOURNE KENNY (9) and IZZEY BALE (8) were the last trio on settling. JINJA LOCH (10) was handy into the first bend but ran very wide and lost ground. This dog continued to race wide throughout and finished a clear last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Trainer N Wanhalla was shown a replay of the race and informed that an improved performance would be expected at the dog's next start. |
| Race 4 | Dave Davies & Brent Coull Memorial - C3 - 295 | BAD WEEK (4) received a check in the back straight and lost ground. OHOKA COBY (1) was tightened into the bend and lost ground with BAD WEEK slightly hampered. BACKCHAT HARRY (3) made the bend awkwardly and became unbalanced losing momentum. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a torn hip support. MAUDIE'S BABE (7) raced wide around the home turn. |
| Race 5 | Colin Counsell Memorial - C4 - 520 | BOSTON BILLY (8) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE CLOVER (5) ran outwards in the run to the first bend contacting KNOW MENTION (6) for a stride. KNOW SCHOLAR (3) shifted wider into the first bend pushing CAWBOURNE CLOVER outwards on to LEKTRA CONCORD (7) which was turned for a stride and lost momentum. DIRK THE JERK (4) raced wide around the first bend. ROADWORKS (9) commenced to weaken on the home turn causing KNOW MENTION and KNOW SCHOLAR to be forced wider on the track. LEKTRA CONCORD was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a split webbing. |
| Race 6 | Graham Barron Memorial - C4 - 295 | KNOW HERO (2) and HOMEBUSH ROCKY (9) were both slow to jump. ABOUT TOWN (5) was tightened in the early stages and lost ground. TINA (1) shifted outwards into the turn tightening WEARS THE GOLD (3). BELLA GRACE (4) was dragged down for a stride into the bend with the trailing KNOW HERO receiving a check. KNOW HERO then checked outwards off heels on the home turn causing ABOUT TOWN to be forced wider. |
| Race 7 | Pat Cagney Memorial - C1/2d - 645 | KAREN'S MAGIC (8) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE WAR (6) ran inwards on dispatch simultaneously to CAN'T CATCH TIM (3) angling outwards resulting in kennelmates LAGOON MYTYE (4) and VERNON BALE (5) being tightened and losing ground. Soon after TRUST ISSUES (2) angled outwards and collided with CAN'T CATCH TIM and CAWBOURNE WAR with TRUST ISSUES being turned sideways and losing ground. LAGOON MYTYE checked outwards off heels on the second bend and lost ground. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE WAR received a slight check in the back straight. |
| Race 8 | Dave Busch Memorial - C5 - 295 | KERAMUS (9) was last on jumping. GUMP'S THE NAME (7) and COLLECTING MONEY (8) bumped for a stride in the initial stages. GUMP'S THE NAME was checked when racing in tight quarters in the back straight. GUMP'S THE NAME then checked off the heels of COLLECTING MONEY into the bend and lost ground. KERAMUS shifted outwards on the home turn in search of clear room pushing SMASH RUMOUR (6) wider on the track. |
| Race 9 | Gerald & Lindsay Cleeve Memorial - C3 - 520 | CAWBOURNE KRISTY (8) was last on jumping. IN THE BOOT (3) and ZIPPING SONNY (4) were checked in the early stages as JINJA BILLY (6) crossed from their outside. BENJAMIN BLACK (7) then crossed inwards into the bend checking JINJA BILLY and IN THE BOOT. |
| Race 10 | Ethel Sibley Memorial - C5 - 295 | MOJO BURST (6) was jostled in the early stages and settled last. DIZZY STATE (7) ran inwards into the bend checking HOMEBUSH ARIEL (4) and OPAWA ROCKET (3). HOMEBUSH ARIEL then ran outwards checking SMASH THAT (5) and pushing MOJO BURST wider on the track. |
| Race 11 | Elvin Hibbs Memorial - C4/5 - 520 | ANOTHER LIZ (8) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have a sore wrist. SOUTHERN LIGHTS (7) was last to jump. ROBBIE (3) and OPAWA STRETCH (4) made brief contact in the run to the first bend. SOUTHERN LIGHTS raced wide when improving in the back straight. |
