Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition. All other equipment operated well .
Scales: Refer to judicial
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The scales were fractionally out by 0.1 with this amount deducted off the dogs weight at kennelling
The club was advised on the 29-1-16 and the scales are due to be recalibrated on the 2-2-2016.
Trainers D Poutama & K Gommans admitted to a breach of rule 64.1 after they failed to withdraw MIGHTY TWIST from race 6 by the required scratching time.
This has been referred to the JCA for Penalty.
GULLY SCREAMER race 1 got away from the handler as the dogs paraded to the start running on to the lure and was late scratched as a result
The Stewards inspected the collar & lead which were found to be in very good condition Handler P Gilling advised that the lead somehow detached from the collar as the dog jumped forward no further action taken.

Race 1 ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305 GULLY SCREAMER slipped the collar as the dogs went on to the track and ran around grabbing on to the lure as a result was late scratched by order of the Stewards. When retrieved GULLY SCREAMER was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. KENNEL BOY ( fav ) was last away by a couple of lengths, he made ground rapidly across the top bend to finish strongly in the run home to be narrowly beaten in to 1st place. Racing in to the first bend EAR'S BORIS vying for the lead became awkwardly balanced as he raced in to the bend running out very wide forcing RANGERS WALTZ to the outer as they raced around the bend to the home turn. EAR'S BORIS continued to race out wide and appeared to be unbalanced in his galloping action racing in to the home straight. finishing in the rear at the line. EAR'S BORIS was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have general soreness around the off side thigh area a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 2 LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305 Racing from the start MARLOW MARINA in across the face of CANDY CRUSHER checking this runner back. Soon after TANK'S ROB angled across on to MARLOW MARINA pushing this runner in on to BELK ROAD bumping this runner inwards, BELK ROAD became unbalanced as the field raced in to the bend and was tightened between runners. BELK ROAD then attempted to angle outwards running in to and over the hind of MARLOW MARIN running out on to CANDY CRUSHER forcing this runner widest on the point of the top bend. Racing across the top bend HOMEBUSH MINION racing handy on the inner was tightened and checked as TANK'S ROB improved between runners, HOMEBUSH MINION stumbled slightly going back through the field towards the rear and was unable to improve there after. HOMEBUSH MINION was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain in the right thigh muscle a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 3 ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305 SHE'S MUSTARD box 2 was away well handy towards the first bend, MR MAIZE angled across on to SHE'S MUSTARD pushing her in across the heels of ZIGGY BAXTER .SHE'S MUSTARD checked back losing momentum to the rear racing wide in and around the bend finishing in the rear at the line. Racing on to the bend PACIFIC VIBE raced past EVA'S STORM angling in causing EVA'S STAR to check and become unbalanced for a few strides, MR MAIZE on her inner came out on to ALQUEZAR and TEEVEE KITTY forcing these runners widest across the top bend.
Race 4 KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305 Racing from the boxes ELLA BAXTER ran in sharply catching the hind quarters of CLEARLY MAGIC checking this runner for a stride. Racing in to the first bend IVANHOV angled in between runners to the rail across the face of ELLA BAXTER checking this runner. Racing to the home turn ANOTHER CHARM angled in on to the shoulder of PEEJAY PRINGLES checking this runner who lost some momentum. PEEJAY PRINGLES ran on gamely in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 5 THE CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305 Racing away from the boxes LICK IT UP ran in bumping hard in to ARCHIE'S TIME, a couple of strides on HOMEBUSH NAKI ran out bumping in to SMART DANDY knocking this runner off balance for a few strides. Racing on to the bend ARCHIE'S TIME angled out on to the hind of LICK IT UP bumping this runner sideways for a stride with ARCHIES TIME going back and out over the heels of LICK IT UP . ARCHIE'S TIME raced widest there after finishing in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have pain in the left shoulder muscle area a 5 day stand down was recommended.
Race 6 LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 MIGHTY TWIST was a late scratching. ( refer judicial ). HOMEBUSH MISHA box 7 was slow away being several lengths in the rear in to the first bend .HOMEBUSH MISHA made ground out wide towards midfield across the top bend but continued out wider in to the home straight finishing in the rear at the line. Racing in to the first bend DREAMZONE angled in on to the shoulder of HYDE BAXTER resulting in this runner losing momentum and going back several lengths. HYDE BAXTER recovered to finish on in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 7 AON CPF C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 MISS ELDORA ( fav ) box 1 dwelt at the start being back past midfield in the run to the first bend where she soon improved along the inner to race in to contention nearing the home turn but was unable to finish off on the run finishing in 3rd placing at the line. Racing in to the first bend wider out CAWBOURNE PEEJAY having first race at this venue angled outwards checking OPEHU FLYER then bumping in to TO THE BANK forcing these runners wide racing across the top bend.
Race 8 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520 In the run to the bend on the first occasion BEVS NEW POINT box 1 attempted to angle out as FOX IN BOX moved inwards with these runners coming together jostling, FOX IN BOX pushed BEVS NEW POINT back in. BEVS NEW POINT went back towards the rear and wasn't able to improve there after. BEVS NEW POINT was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain in the near side shoulder area a 5 day stand down was recommended.
Race 9 DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 WHATU TRENDY box 3 scrambled badly on leaving the boxes almost spreading herself. WHATU TRENDY was approx. 8 or so lengths last in the early running ,she made some ground to finish several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 10 THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520 Racing from the boxes CANDID ANGEL ran in as SUE SEWS SOCKS ran out resulting in OPAWA MESSINI and LAGOON VICTORY being jostled and tightened as these four runners came together , LAGOON VICTORY and OPAWA MESSINI were checked back with LAGOON VICTORY angling out across the face of OPAWA MESSINI further hampering this runner. Racing in to the back straight CANDID ANGEL was forced wide for several strides as GOODTIME MIKE raced through on her inner, when racing clear of CANDID ANGEL, GOODTIME MIKE continued to race widest there after covering a fair amount of extra ground.
Race 11 FIRST SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 STELLAR FORCE box 4 was best away ,racing in to the first bend MEJA JET and CHEAP SHOT MATTY raced past angling inwards, STELLAR FORCE went back a couple of lengths with FREEDOM FLYER catching her heels and running out on to AYRA STARK forcing this runner widest around the top bend.
Race 12 BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305 Racing in to the first bend CAWBOURNE KIWI ran in across the face of CHINESE STAR who lost momentum going back several lengths to the rear, when balanced up CHINESE STAR made some ground across the top bend but was well out of contention there after. Wider out racing on to the top bend ALAMEIN JAH crossed in on to NUI MAGIC causing this runner to check and lose ground .NUI MAGIC raced wide towards and in to the home straight finishing in last placing at the line.
