Track: Good The scales were fractionally out by 0.1 kilogram with this number being deducted from the greyhounds recorded weight at kenneling. This issue was raised with the Club.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	JOBS RITE (5) and SASHA MCBELL (7) were slow to jump. VIVA LA VIXEN (4) ran outwards approaching the bend hampering JOHNNY ANGEL (6) and SPOT ON MAGGIE (8), with the trailing JOBS RITE having to check outwards to avoid heels. JOHNNY ANGEL was then further hampered when colliding with HOMEBUSH MISHA (2) which was forced outwards by BLAZE'S CORPORAL (1). HOMEBUSH MISHA and SPOT ON MAGGIE collided rounding the bend. JOHNNY ANGEL and SPOT ON MAGGIE bumped on several occasions prior to entering the home straight, with SPOT ON MAGGIE becoming unbalanced.
Race 2	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	AUTUMN LIGHTS (3) jumped away awkwardly bumping with CAWBOURNE KITT (2). BOSTON THUNDER (7) was last to jump. BOSTON THUNDER was then obliged to race wide throughout. ASIA OSTEE (4) ran inwards through the early stages colliding with WORBOYS (1) on several occasions, with WORBOYS checking outwards across that runners heels soon after.
Race 3	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	CAWBOURNE BUTTSY (4) raced in restricted room through the early stages between SHELLY MCBELL (3) and HOMEBUSH DODGER (5), with CAWBOURNE BUTTSY checking outwards across the heels of HOMEBUSH DODGER soon after. HOMEBUSH DODGER was crowded briefly rounding the bend when racing inside EFFECTIVE POWER (7) which ran inwards.
Race 4	ADEPT ACOUNTANTS C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	SHERLOCK IZMIR (8) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE LOCH (5) checked outwards abruptly entering the first bend when tightened for racing room between THRILLING DYLAN (2) and SHERLOCK IZMIR which ran inwards. LADY ZEENA (1) was checked rounding the first bend when to the inside of OPAWA AMBER (7) which ran inwards, with the trailing ANOTHER HABIT (4) and KNUCKLE BUMP (6) being inconvenienced momentarily. KNUCKLE BUMP was unable to make any discernible ground thereafter and was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed triceps soreness in the right-fore.
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305	CAWBOURNE GEORGE (5) was last to jump. PINK SHELLAC (1) and BIG BOY DENO (2) jostled through the early stages, with PINK SHELLAC being placed in restricted room for a distance. BRILLIANT ASHLEE (3) ran inwards entering the bend forcing BIG BOY DENO into the line of PINK SHELLAC which was crowded onto the running rail, losing ground. PINK SHELLAC was examined by the veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. CHOCDEE ALICE (4) and CAWBOURNE GEORGE were hampered entering the bend between BIG BOY DENO and EMPTY BANK (7) which ran inwards. VITO BAXTER (8) and ONE BROKE GIRL (6) bumped entering the home straight resulting in VITO BAXTER becoming unbalanced briefly.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM - C3 - 520	PREMIER DIVISION (4) and KIRKHAM HARVEY (5) collided leaving the boxes. BIGTIME RANSON (7) ran inwards sharply soon after the start forcing CAWBOURNE GRACIE (6) down the track and into the line of KIRKHAM HARVEY and PREMIER DIVISION, both of which were hampered, with CAWBOURNE GRACIE colliding with CAWBOURNE CLAY (3) soon after. CAWBOURNE GRACIE was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed carpus pain in the right-fore.
Race 7	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 305	HOMEBUSH OLIVE (9/1) was last to jump. BRILLIANT JAYLA (5) clipped the heel of ANOTHER MISS shortly after the start when that runner shifted outwards. ANOTHER MISS continued to run outwards through the early stages forcing CAWBOURNE SARAH (10/7) and RAPPER DASH (8) wider on the track. HOMEBUSH GINGER (3) ran inwards entering the bend crowding WHEELIE CHILLIE (6) and LAGOON MAC (2), with the trailing HOMEBUSH OLIVE being placed in restricted room briefly. LAGOON MAC then checked outwards across the heels of WHEELIE CHILLIE resulting in BRILLIANT JAYLA and CAWBOURNE SARAH being hampered.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	CAWBOURNE BRICK (4) ran inwards from the boxes hampering ALLMENDINGER (3) and SPRINGVALE HARRY (2). CAWBOURNE BRICK was then crowded entering the first bend between SPRINGVALE HARRY and MARLISA (5) which ran inwards, with the trailing KISSING GWYNETH (8) being inconvenienced. SPRINGVALE HARRY and MARLISA collided soon after. MARLISA was examined by the veterianraina follwoing the event which revealed split webbing in the left-hind.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE C4 - C4 - 305	INDIVIDUAL LILY (5) was crowded leaving the boxes between HAPPY WIFE (4) and FUNKY FREDDY (6) which ran inwards. BOHANNON (2) and CAESAR CHANCE (9/1) bumped on several occasions entering the bend. SENORITA TINA went amiss in its action rounding the bend and commenced to give ground, with the trailing CAESAR CHANCE checking outwards across that runners heels crowding BOHANNON which lost momentum. SENORITA TINA was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed a fractured right hock. INDIVIDUAL LILY underwent a post-race veterinary inspection which revealed split webbing in the left-hind paw.
Race 10	AON CPF C5 - C5 - 305	EXPONENTIAL LILY (4) and HOMEBUSH RAMONA (5) collided leaving the boxes. WHY OH WHY (6) was tightened when leading entering the bend between WILD EFFECTIVE (2) and SEDGEBROOK BABE (7). WHY OH WHY was then further hampered when dragged down by the trailing EXPONENTIAL LILY (4), with HOMEBUSH RAMONA being hampered when unable to avoid heels. WHY OH WHY was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed a right-fore toe injury.
