Judicial report: M Black (Race 5) was issued with a Minor Infringement and fined $50 under Rule 71.4 for failing to catch MISS BUNNYTHORPE as arranged. J Udy (Race 7) was issued with a Minor Infringement and fined $50 under Rule 71.4 for failing to catch SPEED LORDE as arranged.
CALL ME BLUE ( K Toomer ) completed a satisfactory trial ( rule 80.2 ) at Auckland GRC on 27-1-16 and is now cleared to race.

Race 1	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C0 - 375	SEMI AUTOMATIC presented with a 1.8kg weight increase from its previous start on 10 Dec 2015. This was an intentional weight change with a new Trainer. SCOTT TIED UP (9) was slow away. Entering the first turn DRUNKEN LADY (6) and MEAN AS MENA (8) angled in into the line of SEMI AUTOMATIC (3) who was checked, losing ground, shifting out off the heels of these runners inconveniencing HIGHWAY HOUND (5), ZOE'S FUNK (7) and SCOTT TIED UP with ZOE'S FUNK and SCOTT TIED UP also losing ground. DRUNKEN LADY shifted out off heels rounding the bend then raced wide for the remainder of the event.
Race 2	Hautapu Veterinary Services Sprint - C1 - 375	TOXIC REVENGE was a late scratching at 8am due to an injury sustained following scratching time. PLENTY OF TIME (8) was last to leave the boxes. CRYING IN VEGAS (7) and SONIC ATTACK (6) came together leaving the boxes with these runners shifting in onto DON'T BRAG (4) who was taken in making solid contact with OPAWA UNO (3) who came together with SPEARMINT JUJU (2) with these runners all briefly unbalanced OPAWA UNO losing ground as a result. CRYING IN VEGAS angled in entering the first turn tightening SONIC ATTACK who lost momentum with SONIC ATTACK then briefly getting on the heels of this runner losing ground.
Race 3	Box1 Gold Sprint - C2 - 375	WINSOME DAN (8) was last to leave the boxes. SKINNY ANKLES (5) shifted in hampering SCOTT THE LOOKS (4) who was taken in onto MOCKINGJAY (3) leaving the boxes. Entering the first turn WHO ROCKS (1) and MOCKINGJAY were tightened coming together with MOCKINGJAY losing considerable ground. WHO ROCKS (1) shifted out abruptly off the heels of SKINNY ANKLES rounding the final bend losing ground. BIGTIME DASHER (7) raced wide throughout.
Race 4	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C3 - 375	CAWBOURNE WALES (3) and JINJA LUCA (4) were last to leave the boxes with these runners then coming together for a stride. DR. ROBBIE (9) made contact with the hindquarters of MYRNIONG GIRL (6) leaving the boxes. BAYMAX (1) shifted out entering the first turn making contact with ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (2) with both runners becoming unbalanced with ROTOVEGAS SPARKY shifting out into the line of STYLISH FANCY (5) who got on this runners heels with ROTOVEGAS SPARKY losing considerable ground as a result. BAYMAX then continued to shift out inconveniencing DR. ROBBIE and STYLISH FANCY who was taken wider on the track. Throughout the final straight STYLISH FANCY appeared to become uncomfortable in its action shifting in making brief contact with BAYMAX with STYLISH FANCY then falling soon after. Hampered by the fallen runner, when racing at the rear of the field were ROTOVEGAS SPARKY and CAWBOURNE WALES. STYLISH FANCY was examined by the veterinarian following this event with neck pain detected and a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 5	Happy Birthday Mark Smith Sprint - C1 - 375	THRILLING FOREST (5), SPOTTED FLYER (6) and OUR SWIFT BUDDY (7) were last to leave the boxes with SPOTTED FLYER and OUR SWIFT BUDDY then coming together shifting out making brief contact with MORE SALT NEEDED (8). WHAT'S UP WATTO (2) angled in making contact with WAIRIO DEE JAY (1) who was hampered losing ground entering the first turn. Rounding the first turn THRILLING FOREST angled in tightening MISS BUNNYTHORPE (3) in onto WHAT'S UP WATTO with these two runners losing ground and continuing to do so rounding the bend. Inconvenienced as a result were WAIRIO DEE JAY, SPOTTED FLYER, OUR SWIFT BUDDY and MORE SALT NEEDED with these runners all having to shift out with MORE SALT NEEDED checked losing ground. SPOTTED FLYER was taken wider rounding the final bend when WAIRIO DEE JAY shifted out. M Black was issued with a Minor Infringement notice and fined $50 under Rule 71.4 for failing to catch MISS BUNNYTHORPE as arranged.
Race 6	DogZone Stakes - C2 - 457	THRILLING CARTER (4) was slow away. BORIS GUMP (6) shifted out making contact with BILL RUSH (8) leaving the boxes. OSCAR TRON (2) and TEEMARIA (3) came together soon after the start with STINGER (5) shifting in making contact with the hindquarters of TEEMARIA for several strides. STINGER angled in entering the first turn inconveniencing TEEMARIA.
Race 7	Vehicle Services Ltd Sprint - C4/5 - 375	COUNTRY WAL (8) was slow away. JOE JOE (2), ROCKIN' FANCY (3) and SPEED LORDE (4) came together entering the first turn with JOE JOE and ROCKIN' FANCY losing ground. SPEED LORDE and TALKIN FANCY (7) came together rounding the bend with SPEED LORDE losing ground. Entering the final straight JOE JOE shifted out slightly inconveniencing TALKIN FANCY who had to steady shifting in into the line of SPEED LORDE who also had to steady. SPEED LORDE got on the heels of COUNTRY WAL on several occasions in the final straight with both runners unbalanced losing ground. A post race veterinary examination of COUNTRY WAL revealed an injury to the left gracilis muscle with a 28 day stand down imposed. J Udy was issued with a minor infringement and fined $50 under Rule 71.4 for failing to catch SPEED LORDE as arranged.
Race 8	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	FEEL THE FORCE (7) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with GOLFING BUDDY (6) who was hampered coming together with NO MORE DEBT (5) with NO MORE DEBT and GOLFING BUDDY becoming unbalanced losing ground. DIPSY LALA (4) shifted in leaving the boxes tightening MANYANA GROPER (3) who then steadied off the hindquarters of GO ANDWYN (2) for a stride. CONTEMPORANEOUS (1) and GO ANDWYN were tightened losing ground rounding the first turn. NO MORE DEBT lost ground over the concluding stages with a post race veterinary examination revealing no abnormality.
Race 9	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C4/5 - 457	NANGAR STAR (5) angled in leaving the boxes inconveniencing NEW LOOK (4) who lost ground before making contact with MELHAM (2) who lost ground. MELHAM then shifted out as a result momentarily inconveniencing NEW LOOK.
Race 10	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4 - 375	IRISH BLUE (8) and JINJA FANTASY (6) were slow away. THRILLING GALAXY (5) angled in leaving the boxes momentarily inconveniencing ROTOVEGAS RARA (4). LET'S GO LETTIE (2) and UMAGA RAMA (9) came together on several occasions racing down the back straight and rounding the first turn losing ground. ROTOVEGAS RARA gave ground rounding the bend going back inconveniencing LET'S GO LETTIE and UMAGA RAMA. ROTOVEGAS RARA continued to lose ground finishing some distance from the field with a post race veterinary examination revealing ROTOVEGAS RARA to be coming into season with a 28 day stand down imposed.
Race 11	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C3 - 457	PIRATE LORE (7) angled in making contact with JAZZBOY JACK (6) who was taken in onto ACAMS (5) with these runners all becoming unbalanced. ATOM BOMB (3) angled out racing down the back straight dictating THRILLING LOGAN (2) and ACAMS wider on the track. ATOM BOMB was tightened entering the first turn making contact with the hindquarters of BLACK DUDE (1) becoming unbalanced shifting out making contact with ACAMS losing considerable ground. ACAMS and WHAT THAT DOES (8) made brief contact rounding the bend.
Race 12	Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C1 - 457	APRIL'S MY MUM (4) and TULIP MUNCHER (5) were slow away with TULIP MUNCHER further inconvenienced when APRIL'S MY MUM shifted out. GLOBAL CONQUEST (1), DYLANS A VILLAN (2), JINJA MIA (6) and COOL MARLOW (8) all came together when entering the first turn in a compact line with GLOBAL CONQUEST, DYLANS A VILLAN and JINJA MIA losing ground. Inconvenienced as a result were ZIPPING SONIA (3) and PREOCCUPIED (7) who were trailing with these runners then coming together for a distance. PREOCCUPIED was referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected.
