| Race 1 | Trophies Plus Sprint Series Final - C0f - 318 | SCOTT NO SHOW (7) was slow away. DRUNKEN LADY (3) and HOT STAR (9) came together soon after leaving the boxes. SCOTT NO LIMBS (1) and DON'T BRAG (2) came together soon after the start and jostled for a distance losing ground. SCOTT NO SHOW (7) and SCOTT SOME TICKA (8) came together for a distance racing down the back straight with these runners then further inconvenienced losing ground when GOT TIME (6) shifted out making contact with these runners. GOT TIME then shifted in entering the first turn making contact with DRUNKEN LADY. DRUNKEN LADY ran wide rounding the bend taking SCOTT SOME TICKA wider on the track. GOT TIME faltered rounding the bend losing ground and its chance with a post trace veterinary examination revealing an injury to the right fore metacarpal with a 42 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 2 | Nanny McPhee Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | TONGARIRO (9) was slow away. NGAURUHOE (6) and BIG JAMESY (5) came together and jostled for a distance racing down the back straight with these runners both becoming unbalanced shifting in making brief contact with ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (4) with BIG JAMESY and NGAURUHOE losing ground as a result. STYLISH FANCY (3) shifted in racing toward the first turn into the line of TONGARIRO who had to shift out across the heels of this runner checking BIG JAMESY with both runners losing ground. STYLISH FANCY and ROTOVEGAS SPARKY made brief contact entering the first turn. |
| Race 3 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C1 - 318 | PLENTY OF TIME (4) began awkwardly losing ground. MALIGNED (9) was slow away. SCOTT A MOTOR (1) and THRILLING FOREST (2) jostled for a distance racing down with SCOTT NO MOTOR losing ground. THRILLING FOREST (2) shifted in making brief contact with the running rail entering the first turn. JUST ABOUT READY (6) got on the hindquarters of GULLY FLAHERTY (3) entering the first turn with these runners becoming badly unbalanced shifting wide on the track losing ground and their chances. GULLY FLAHERTY and JUST ABOUT READY were referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormalities detected. |
| Race 4 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C1 - 527 | ILLICIT TWIST (2) was slow away. ELITE BLUE (5), shifted in soon after the start making contact with PERCENTAGE GIRL (4) who was taken in onto PODIUM BONUS (3) with these runners losing ground. ZALIA (1) shifted out across the heels of ELITE BLUE CHEVY (5) entering the first turn shifting out making contact with PODIUM BONUS who was taken out onto Percentage girl with these runners losing ground. ELITE BLUE CHEVY shifted out off the heels of APRIL'S MY MUM (8) rounding the first turn inconveniencing ZALIA.ILLICIT TWIST commenced to give ground rounding the first turn and continued to do so throughout the event finishing some distance from the field with a post race veterinary examination revealing right fore metacarpal pain with a 42 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 5 | Stitiches Upholstery Stakes - C3 - 527 | WHAT THAT DOES (3) and PIRATE LORE (6) were slow away. ATOM BOMB (4) and ELECTRIC IMPULSE (5) came together leaving the boxes with these runners then further inconvenienced when FORTIS FLIER (7) angled in in front of these runners. ELECTRIC IMPLUSE was badly hampered soon after the start when LUCKY COLLECT (8) shifted in and ATOM BOMB shifted out both making solid contact with this runner who lost ground with LUCKY COLLECT then continuing to shift in hampering ATOM BOMB who became badly unbalanced losing considerable ground going back onto ELECTRIC IMPULSE. DR. ROBBIE (2) and FORTIS FLIER came together on several occasions racing toward the first turn with FORTIS FLIER losing ground. WHAT THAT DOES (3) and PIRATE LORE came together entering the first turn with these runners becoming unbalanced and WHAT THAT DOES making brief contact with the running rail. FORTIS FLIER angled in rounding the first turn tightening and inconveniencing LUCKY COLLECT and KITTY'S SHIRZ (1) with these runners becoming unbalanced with FORTIS FLIER and LUCKY COLLECT losing ground. ELCTRIC IMPULSE had to check off the heels of FORTIS FLIER entering the bend leaving the back straight. WHAT THAT DOES was referred to the veterinarian with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 6 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318 | OUR SWIFT BUDDY (5) stumbled soon after leaving the boxes losing ground. TOXIC REVENGE (7) was slow away. MORE SALT NEEDED (2) angled in racing toward the first turn hampering LORD DE AIR (1) who lost ground. Entering the first turn DENALI (4), SCOTT NO ODDS (6) and NEED MAGIC (8) came together with these runners all becoming unbalanced with DENALI and SCOTT NO ODDS losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was MORE SALT NEEDED and OUR SWIFT BUDDY who got on the heels of SCOTT NO ODDS having to steady. |
| Race 7 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | SOMETIME SOON (2) and ROCKIN' FANCY (3) came together soon after the start. BRITNEY STAR (4) made contact with the hindquarters of ZIPPING STEVE (5) racing down the back straight before shifting out making solid contact with MIA ZORRA (6) with these runners becoming unbalanced losing ground. LITTLE RASCAL (7) made brief contact with the hindquarters of ZIPPING STEVE entering the first turn. SOMETIME SOON shifted out rounding the first turn taken ROCKIN' FANCY wider with ROCKIN' FANCY then making contact with BRITNEY STAR with these runners losing ground. MIA ZORRA shifted out to race wide rounding the bend losing ground. SOMETIME SOON shifted out slightly entering the final straight taking ROCKIN' FANCY and BRITNEY STAR wider. MI ZORRA was examined by the veterinarian following this event with pain in the right pectoral detected and a 14 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 8 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C2 - 318 | MR. JULES (2) was slow away. OUR JACK ATTACK (3) and TEPIRITA AMBER (6) made brief contact racing down the back straight. QUEEN STAR (5) angled in into the line of BIGTIME DASHER (1) who lost ground entering the first turn. OUR JACK ATTACK and TEPIRITA AMBER came together entering the first turn with TEPIRITA AMBER losing ground. MR. JULES shifted out rounding the first bend inconveniencing BIGTIME DASHER (1). |
| Race 9 | Happy Birthday Nyomi O'Regan Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | JACK ROB (3) and CAWBOURNE WALES (6) were slow away. CYCLONE LUSI (4) and LOOKS ALL GOOD (5) came together soon after the start. MISS UNIVERSE (8) shifted in making contact with PEACOCK PRINCESS (7) for a distance racing down the back straight with PEACOCK PRINCESS then coming together with LOOKS ALL GOOD for a distance racing toward the first turn with both runners losing momentum with LOOKS ALL GOOD then losing ground entering the first turn. As a result CYCLONE LUSI (4), who was trailing these runners, shifted in hampering OPAWA VENUS who was checked making contact with the running rail losing ground. When entering the final straight in the lead, MISS UNIVERSE commenced to give ground going back through the field. MISS UNIVERSE was referred to the veterinarian which revealed pain in the right long head triceps with a 42 day stand down imposed. OPAWA VENUS underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the left gracilis with a 42 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 10 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | NEW LOOK (7) shifted in soon after the start taking YAP'S ME MUM (6) in onto JESSE PINKMAN (5) and JOE JOE (4) who then came together with WHO DAT BOY (3) with JESSE PINKMAN losing ground. soon after NEW LOOK came together with YAP'S ME MUM becoming unbalanced shifting out slightly onto the hindquarters of MISS VELOCETTE (8). Entering the first turn NEW LOOK and YAP'S ME MUM shifted in onto WHO DAT BOY and JOE JOE who were hampered losing ground. ZIPPING EXPRESS (2) was tightened to the inside of these runners shifting out inconveniencing YAP'S ME MUM, NEW LOOK, MISS VELOCETTE and JESSE PINKMAN with these runners losing ground JESSE PINKMAN and NEW LOOK the worst affected. Rounding the bend MISS VELOCETTE shifted in hampering ZIPPING EXPRESS (2) who was checked having to shift out off this runners heels losing ground. JOE JOE was tightened rounding the bend between WHO DAT BOY and YAP'S ME MUM. YAP'S ME MUM and NEW LOOK came together entering the back straight losing ground. FABIO was treated by the veterinarian following this event for split webbing with a 21 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 11 | Carol's TABS Stakes - C1/2 - 527 | BORIS GUMP (6) was slow away. MONTANA (3) and THRILLING EVIE (4) came together soon after the start with MONTANA losing ground. Entering the first turn KIMETTO (2) shifted in hampering JELLY GEM (1) who lost ground going back onto THRILLING EVIE and MOCKINGJAY (5) who came together with MOCKINGJAY then shifting out coming together with LOCHINVAR MAINE (8) who was taken out onto BORIS GUMP who shifted wide losing ground. MOCKINGJAY, MONTANA and JELLY GEM came together rounding the first bend with these runners losing ground, MONTANA the worst affected. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | KNOCKA SLOY will no longer box first for its immediate future racing. CONSUMATE EASE (1), BOTANY HOLLY (3) and KNOCKA SLOY (6) were last to leave the boxes. HANNIBAL LECTER (8) and DIPSY LALA (7) came together soon after the start. CONSUMATE EASE and CONTEMPORANEOUS (2) came together for several strides racing into the back straight. BOTANY HOLLY and KNOCKA SLOY came together racing toward the first turn. CONSUMATE EASE was tightened losing ground entering the first turn.HANNIBAL LECTER and BOTANY HOLLY came together rounding the bend with HANNIBAL LECTER becoming unbalanced losing ground. Rounding the final bend CONSUMATE EASE shifted out making contact with HANNIBAL LECTER becoming unbalanced and shifting very wide on the track losing ground. A post race veterinary examination of HANNIBAL LECTER revealed no abnormality. |
