Judicial report: CHINESE MAGIC was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout in race 7 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. CAWBOURNE ELPASO was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout in race 9 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL CO - C0 - 305	ODD FELLOW shifted out from the start and hampered BELK ROAD and GOLDSTAR LEXIE which lost ground and settled back. ALEX RUMBLE shifted in going into the bend and crowded NANA'S GIRL and TEEVEE KITTY which both lost ground. A short distance further on, ODD FELLOW galloped on the back of TEEVEE GIRL which was checked and ODD FELLOW then shifted out onto NANA'S GIRL which was checked and fell. ODD FELLOW was severely checked losing all chance and BELK ROAD was also affected in the incident. NANA'S GIRL was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have deltoid and hip support muscle pain.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE C0 - C0 - 305	CALA D'OR, PRINCELY MONEY and RALLY SARIOUS all began awkwardly and settled back. CALA D'OR and RALLY SARIOUS jostled together and became unbalanced for a short distance going to the first corner. CANDY CRUSHER was crowded going into the bend and lost four lengths in going back to the rear. GULLY SCREAMER shifted out entering the home straight and caused checks to CALA D'OR and PRINCELY MONEY.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	GULLY YAPPER shifted out abruptly from the start and collided with DARK WITCH and they were briefly unbalanced losing ground. GULLY YAPPER recovered to make up ground and won the race. CAWBOURNE MARCY shifted in and checked over the back of DARK WITCH and lost four lengths going into the bend when racing at the rear. BELFAST SMARTY, IF IT FITZ and PACIFIC VIBE shifted out going into the bend and IF IT FITZ bumped with PACIFIC VIBE, went off stride soon after and drifted to finish in last place. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have deltoid and pectoral muscle pain. ANOTHER CASINO and MARLOW MARINA were referred to the Vet for assessment at the Kennel representatives request and both were found to have muscle soreness. BELFAST SMARTY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have hip support muscle pain.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 305	SWIRLING EDDIE shifted out from the start after drawing box 3 and dictated the line of all runners drawn further out. ANOTHER JET was the slowest to begin but she ran on well to finish in 3rd place. KILLALEA STAR shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to KAY MARTING and SWIRLING EDDIE and they lost ground and finished in the rear group along with ANNIE WAY which raced very wide on the bend and into the straight and covered extra ground. ANOTHER JET was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain.
Race 5	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	LAGOON VICTORY checked off the back of RUBBED OUT going into the back straight and lost four lengths. PEAKY BLINDER led for most of the race and won with ease but collapsed at the lure and was transported back to the kennels area where he recovered. He was examined by the Vet and a swab was ordered on the dog. PEAKY BLINDER was found to have hypoxia and was stood down.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	KNOCKA SLOY dwelt at the start losing four lengths but made up ground well. DEATHSTAR, SPEARMINT JUJU, HYDE BAXTER and MALIGNED raced in very tight formation going into the bend and DEATHSTAR was checked and fell. She regained her feet and finished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have bruising and muscle soreness. ACONAGUA went to a long lead early in the race but faltered before the home turn and went back quickly to finish in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a leg injury. GULLY RUNNER was severely hindered when avoiding ACONAGUA on the home turn and lost several lengths. CHINESE MAGIC was in 2nd place approaching the home straight but eased up and went back several places and finished in 6th place. The Trainer admitted a breach of Rule 79.1 b and a stand down of 28 days was imposed with a Satisfactory trial to be completed before the bitches next start.
Race 8	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	ELUSIVE BABE was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. ARCHI BALE was also a little slow away from the boxes and he stayed back throughout and finished in last place.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE ELPASO was the slowest away from the boxes but recovered well to win the race. CAWBOURNE ELPASO shifted out going into the bend and hampered KYLA ROSE which lost two lengths. CAWBOURNE ELPASO and SMART DANDY jostled entering the home straight and raced in very tight formation to the finish. It was observed that the eventual winner CAWBOURNE ELPASO turned his head in towards SMART DANDY on three occasions in the straight and he was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE ELPASO was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	MERCEDES GOLD raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in last place. She had not started for 3 months and her form prior to that was poor and an improvement will be expected by the stewards in future starts. YOU'RE SO FREE also ran very wide on the final bend and into the home straight.
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	CASUAL SIPPER and KA PAI were the slowest to begin and settled back. CASUAL SIPPER checked off the heels of BIGTIME DASHER going into the bend and went back onto KA PAI and they both lost several lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. CASUAL SIPPER was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have deltoid pain.
Race 12	FIVE STAR KENNEL AND RUNS C2 - C2 - 305	CAWBOURNE PHILLIP drifted off the back of the field going into the bend and he finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. He was found to have tensor fascia lata muscle pain.
Race 13	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 305	SEDGEBROOK CHARM was checked going into the bend losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place. MAGIC DANDY shifted out on the bend and forced LIZ WATTO and FIVE KAY LEG wide over extra ground.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	Movement from the start by SCREAMING SKULL and PEDRO'S CARAT resulted in tightening and checks to SASHA MCBELL, TRENDY LASS and THRILLING FOREST which all settled back. SASHA MCBELL, TRENDY LASS and THRILLING FOREST jostled together for a short distance going into the bend and soon after, TRENDY LASS faltered and went off stride and she finished a long last and was referred to the Vet with a leg injury.
Race 15	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	MISS BUNNYTHORPE shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered ARCHIE'S TIME. ARCHIE'S TIME shifted in and FRANKINCENSE shifted out going into the bend and they bumped and ARCHIE'S TIME was checked and fell and took no further part in the race. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have general bruising and muscle soreness.
