Judicial report: The 375 metre races were all hand started due to a technical error. The Club will be addressing this issue prior to the commencement of the next scheduled race meeting.

Race 1	Box1 Gold Sprint - C0 - 375	EMBRACE ME (1), DRUNKEN LADY (6), HIGHWAY HOUND (7) and ZOE'S FUNK (8) were slow away. GOT TIME (3) and FEEL THE FORCE (4) came together for a distance soon after the start. HAVANA STOGIE (2) was tightened, making contact with the running rail, losing ground entering the first turn. HAVANA STOGIE underwent a post race veterinary examination with no abnormality detected. DRUNKEN LADY raced wide throughout.
Race 2	DogZone Sprint - C2 - 375	COOKIE MONSTER (4) and BOSTON STRIKE (8) were last to leave the boxes. BIGTIME DASHER (5) began awkwardly making solid contact with COOKIE MONSTER soon after the start losing ground. MOCKINGJAY (7) came together with BIGTIME MOOLA (6) for several strides leaving the boxes with MOCKINGJAY becoming unbalanced. BIGTIME DASHER and MOCKINGJAY made contact entering the first turn losing ground when racing at the rear of the field. BIGTIME MOOLA was inconvenienced for a stride early in the final straight when WHO ROCKS (2) shifted out.
Race 3	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	JETSUN STORM (4) was slow away then got on the heels of MANYANA GROPER (3) losing ground. SONIC ATTACK (6) and OPAWA LEIGH (5) came together leaving the boxes with these runners shifting in making contact with MANYANA GROPER who was taken in across the heels of JUST ABOUT READY (2) with MANYANA GROPER and OPAWA LEIGH losing ground. JUST ABOUT READY and SONIC ATTACK made contact entering the first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground, SONIC ATTACK the worst affected. Rounding the bend JETSUN STORM became awkwardly placed on the heels of SONIC ATTACK having to steady losing ground.
Race 4	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C3 - 375	VINCENT GALLO was a late scratching at 11.15am on veterinary advice. STYLISH FANCY (10) was hampered losing ground soon after the start when ZULU MERCEDES (6) and LUCKY COLLECT (8) shifted ground making solid contact with this runner. LUCKY COLLECT and ZULU MERCEDES then came together and jostled for a distance racing toward the first turn with these runners then shifting in making solid contact with TRIDENT (5) with these runners all becoming unbalanced, ZULU MERCEDES and LUCKY COLLECT losing ground as a result. ZULU MERCEDES and LUCKY COLLECT then continued to make contact for some distance rounding the bend losing considerable ground and their chances. SHINZIGZAG (3) was referred to the veterinarian when showing signs of lameness following this event, after finishing awkwardly onto the lure, with lumbosacral pain detected and a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 5	NZ Racing Series Graduation Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	BLACK DUDE (2) was last to leave the boxes. BROWN EYE BOY (5) and OPAWA NORRIS (7) came together racing toward the first turn with both runners unbalanced shifting out. Racing into the first turn BLACK DUDE and JETSUN QUAKER (3) made contact with these runners then further inconvenienced when PIRATE LORE (4) shifted in making contact with these runners with JETSUN QUAKER and PIRATE LORE losing ground. MELMAN (6) was tightened losing ground entering the first turn. JETSUN QUAKER and PIRATE LORE made contact rounding the bend when racing at the rear of the field.
Race 6	NZ Racing Series Graduation Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	THRILLING CARTER (8) was slow away.
Race 7	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C4/5 - 457	OPAWA KURU (4) and TALKIN FANCY (5) came together leaving the boxes losing ground. TIMMY TRUMPET (6) and JINJA FANTASY (7) made brief contact soon after the start with JINJA FANTASY then shifting out inconveniencing TAKAMORI (8) for several strides. TALKIN FANCY shifted in across the heels of WHO DAT BOY (2) racing down the back straight with these runners thrn both shifting in entering the first turn making brief contact. TAKAMORI made contact with the hindquarters of JINJA FANTASY for several strides entering the first turn with these runners losing momentum.
Race 8	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C3/4 - 375	IRISH BLUE (3), CALL ME BLUE (7) and TEE KAY YAPPER (5) were last to leave the boxes. MIA ZORRA (2) was inconvenienced for a distance racing toward the first turn when UP HIGH (6) angled in dictating MIA ZORRA in onto FORTIS FLIER (1) who lost ground entering the first turn. IRISH BLUE was placed in restricted room losing ground rounding the first turn.
Race 9	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C5 - 375	SOLARIAN (2) and VON TRAPP (3) made brief contact leaving the boxes with VON TRAPP shifting out onto VINTAGE OSTI (4) who shifted out tightening COUNTRY GUN (5) onto ROCKIN' FANCY (6). VINTAGE OSTI made contact with the hindquarters of VON TRAPP who was taken in onto PAY DA TRAIL (1) entering the first turn with VINTAGE OSTI and VON TRAPP losing ground inconveniencing COUNTRY GUN and ROCKIN' FANCY. SOLARIAN and ZIPPING STEVE (8) made contact on several occasions rounding the bend. VINTAGE OSTI was found to have split webbing on the left hind following this event with the veterinarian imposing a 14 day stand down.
Race 10	Hautapu Veterinary Services Stakes - C1 - 457	PODIUM BONUS (4), ILLICIT TWIST (5), APRIL'S MY MUM (6) and STINGER (7) came together soon after the start with ILLICIT TWIST and APRIL'S MY MUM losing ground. PODIUM BONUS then shifted in making solid contact with MONTANA (3) losing ground. Rounding the bend MONTANA had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of ZALIA (2).
Race 11	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C2 - 457	BORIS GUMP (5) was slow away. THRILLING EVIE (6) shifted in leaving the boxes making brief contact with BORIS GUMP. TEEMARIA (2) made contact with the hindquarters of LOCHINVAR MAINE (1) entering the first turn with these runners losing ground. DYLANS A VILLAN (4) was placed in restricted room coming together with LOCHINVAR MAINE for several strides rounding the bend.
Race 12	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C1 - 457	CORUBA RAGE (3) and MATALINO TWIST (5) were slow away with CORUBA RAGE then shifting out making contact with MATALINO TWIST soon after the start. FOREVER IRIS (8) had to steady and shift out off the heels of JINJA MIA (7) rounding the bend. CORUBA RAGE raced wide throughout.
