Judicial report: (1) Trainer R.H.Adcock was fined $50.00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 68.8 when failing to produce the registration papers for TILT a starter in Race 2. (2) ADRENALIN KICK (J.T.McInerney) was suspended for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b for failing to pursue and required to complete a Satisfactory Trial. (3) MARK BE GOOD (Hart/Taylor) was suspended for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b for failing to pursue and required to complete a Satisfactory Trial.

Race 1	New Year Sprint - C0 - 310	From the jump CULVIE DEN ran inwards from the No. 6 box and bumped SOUTHERN AFFAIR on his inner. In the run to the turn ALEX RUMBLE shifted ground outwards tightening ESTER ACTION and CULVIE DEN ran outwards checking ULTRA ACTION. On the turn COLDRUM checked outwards off the heels of NICKY MCBELL and dictated CULVIE DEN and ANOTHER RANGER wide on the track.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	TILT was slow to jump and then tightened as FAIR CRUZIN ran inwards from the No. 3 box. Into the turn TIMELY REMINDER shifted ground outwards checking the trailing TILT, BUSINESS BOSS and KATIE ATE IT. Shortly afterwards RAPAKI KATH fell when clipping the rear of TIMELY REMINDER with HOMEBUSH SPIKE severely checked and losing ground along with TILT who lost momentum. RAPAKI KATH recovered her feet to finish the race a distant last and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury sustained in the fall.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C0 - 545	SLYNESS, OPAWA JANET and ROOKIE RACER were slow jump while OCTAGONS GHOST stumbled at the jump losing momentum. Shortly after the jump RICH ACTION and FRECKLE FLYER bumped with ROOKIE RACER tightened between those runners. Into the first turn SLYNESS ran outwards bumping FRECKLE FLYER. On the first turn OPAWA JANET checked outwards off the heels of FRECKLE FLYER and clipped RICH ACTION with both dogs running wide and losing ground. Into the back straight ROOKIE RACER checked off OPAWA JANET losing ground. In the straight OPAWA JANET checked off the rear of FRECKLE FLYER.
Race 4	Racing Series Novice Heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 1	PIANISSIMO was very slow to jump losing several lengths. Into the first turn KNOW LUCK ran inwards checking GLORY HOG and tightening SUBTERFUGE, while HERITAGE WATCH ran inwards forcing PIANISSIMO to check outwards and run wide on the turn. In the back straight and again in the home straight PIANISSIMO was dictated wide when HERITAGE WATCH ran outwards.
Race 5	Racing Series Novice Heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 2	OPAWA GAVIN was slow to jump. Shortly after the jump OPAWA JAY JAY was tightened between NO TINKERBELL and PADDY THE BAKER. On the first turn NO TINKERBELL was held up between OPAWA GAVIN and HIS NIBS.
Race 6	Racing Series Novice Heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 3	From the jump OPAWA TRACY shifted ground inwards from the No. 4 box tightening MOON AND SEA on her inside. Shortly after the jump OPAWA TRACY continued to shift inwards lost momentum when clipped from behind by MOON AND SEA. In the run to the turn OPAWA TRACY ran inwards checking MOON AND SEA. On the first turn SAILORS COLLAR was dictated wide when checking off the heels of JINJALESS. In the straight JINJALESS and KNOW LAUGHING bumped with both dogs losing momentum.
Race 7	Racing Series Novice Heats - NZRSq - 545 Heat 4	DEBORAH BAY ran inwards from the No. 6 box dictating OPAWA CASSIDY downwards into the path of GOLDSTAR ARCHIE was checked along with the trailing KNOW ENERGY. In the run to the first turn OPAWA CASSIDY and GOLDSTAR ARCHIE bumped losing momentum, and KNOW ENERGY shifted ground outwards checking GOLDSTAR ARCHIE. Into the first turn GOLDSTAR ARCHIE was forced to check outwards off the heels of KNOW ENERGY with resulting checks to OPAWA PAUL and OPAWA CASSIDY.
Race 8	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310	APOLLO KING and SCARY CANARY were slow to jump. From the jump SCARY CANARY ran sharply inwards from the No. 6 box bumping APOLLO KING. In the run to the turn DEVILSKIN ran inwards checking SHEZ KEEN with the trailing SCARY CANARY running abruptly inwards and striking the running rail to lose all chance. Into the turn DEVILSKIN shifted inwards checking APOLLO KING and striking the heels of NO BRO who ran wide and then dictating DEVILSKIN and SHEZ KEEN wide. In the straight ADRENALIN KICK turned his head, taking his eyes off the lure and running outwards with head turned. The greyhound was examined by the vet under Rule 79.2 and cleared of injury. Trainer J.McInerney viewed the replay and did not contest the a charge of failing to pursue, with ADRENALIN KICK suspended under Rule 79.1.b for 28 days for failing to pursue and required to complete a Satisfactory Trial. After the race SCARY CANARY was also examined by the vet and cleared of any injury.
Race 9	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C1 - 310	GOING PRONT was slow to jump. Shortly after the jump CONALOO ran inwards checking THAT'S A WRAP. On the turn LEKTRA SPIDER ran wide.
Race 10	Green Island Barber Sprint - C2 - 310	JOYNER KERSEE and JOEY BAXTER were slow to jump. In the straight MARK BE GOOD turned his head, taking his eyes off the lure and running inwards with head turned. The greyhound was examined by the vet under Rule 79.2 and cleared of injury. Trainer's representative Mr D.Voyce viewed the replay with MARK BE GOOD subsequently suspended under Rule 79.1.b for 28 days for failing to pursue and required to complete a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 11	Life Members Stakes - C3/4 - 545	KAREN'S MAGIC and KNOW CLOWN were slow to jump. On the first turn KNOW SCHOLAR checked outwards off the heels of LEKTRA CONCORD checking BOTANY KEVIN and KNOW CLOWN and then bumping KNOW ANSWER who became unbalanced and lost ground. In the straight KNOW SCHOLAR shifted ground inwards checking KNOW CLOWN.
Race 12	Otago Daily Times Stakes - C2 - 545	From the jump WHAT I LIKE shifted outwards from the No. 6 box tightening GOLDSTAR JUNIOR on his outer. On the first turn KNOW SECURITY ran outwards dictating PUKEKO BOLT wide. After the race GOLDSTAR JUNIOR was subject to a vet check which showed the dog to have cramped up with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 13	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C2 - 310	STORMING NORM was slow to jump. From the jump HOMEBUSH RILEY shifted ground outwards from the No. 4 box tightening GREET THE JUDGE on his outer. In the run to the turn STORMING NORM and GREET THE JUDGE bumped losing ground. Into the turn as the field tightened BAD WEEK shifted outwards checking HOMEBUSH RILEY with the trailing VOREDA and STORMING NORM badly checked and losing ground. STORMING NORM clipped the heels of HOMEBUSH RILEY who went back and finished at the rear.
Race 14	Forbury Sprint - C4 - 310	GRAND APACHE was slow to jump. In the run to the turn ANOTHER FORTUNE ran outwards bumping TELL THE BOYS and checking the trailing HOMEBUSH PAIGE. On the turn HOMEBUSH RUFUS ran inwards severely checking ANOTHER FORTUNE who became unbalanced and in turn checked HUMAN INSTINCT with both dogs losing all chance. A post race veterinary check of ANOTHER FORTUNE revealed the dog to have muscle soreness in the right shoulder with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 15	Racing Again Tuesday 19th January - C3 - 310	OPAWA IDOL was very slow to jump. In the run to the turn CAR BOOTLE ran outwards from the No. 5 box checking CULVIE GODFATHER. Shortly afterwards CAR BOOTLE continued to push outwards severely checking ROYAL ACTION and tightening LOTS OF BEERSIES. On the turn ROYAL ACTION ran outwards dictating ROYAL ACTION wide on the track.
