Track: Good The track was power harrowed the day prior to the meeting and was a little softer than usual early in the programme as a result but was in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ANNIES WAY completed a trial wearing a one cup blinker and is now cleared to race wearing the gear..

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	NOT LISTENING,PICKERING and CALA D'OR were slow to begin losing four lengths. NOT LISTENING and CALA D'OR bumped together going into the bend and CALA D'OR was checked and fell but regained her feet and finished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment. She was found to have general bruising and soreness.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH MINION was difficult to load into the boxes and this aspect of her performance will be reviewed at her next start. GULLY YAPPA was very slow away from the boxes and lost five lengths. GULLY YAPPA then collided with HOMEBUSH MINION going into the bend and they lost four lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. JACQUI ATTACK was handy on the bend but faltered and went back through the field and finished in 3rd last place. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 520	VEE SINTILATING was very slow to begin and settled back. SHE'S MUSTARD was crowded going into the first turn and shifted out causing VEE SINTILATING to be hampered and they both lost ground and stayed back throughout the remainder of the race.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 305	AFRICAN PRINCESS blundered when jumping from the boxes and was unbalanced but recovered quickly to go on and win the race. GOLDSTAR LEXIE and BLACK ROADSTAR collided when jumping from the boxes and BLACK ROADSTAR was the most affected and settled back but recovered well to finish in 2nd place. A short distance further on, CHIEF BAXTER shifted out and hampered GOLDSTAR LEXIE briefly. ODD FELLOW shifted out on the bend and hampered SMART DANDY which was briefly unbalanced and lost momentum.
Race 5	LASER PLUMBING C0D FEATURE - C0d - 645	CAWBOURNE SATIN and TORERO dwelt at the start and settled back. GOODTIME MIKE raced wide over extra ground into the first turn. CAWBOURNE SATIN was referred to the Vet when observed to have a bleeding wart following the race.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	General tightening going into the first turn resulted in ELUSIVE BABE being checked and falling and also affected were MACGYVER RAMA, DENALI and LULU'S FLAME and they all lost groundand stayed back to finish at the rear. ELUSIVE BABE took no further part in the race, was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have bruising and muscle soreness. SASHA MCBELL was also affected in the tightening and was also referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tongue laceration and a spike wound.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	ALLEGRO STYLE galloped on the back of LURE ME IN going into the bend and they both lost ground and went back to the rear. BUZZY AS which was following was also affected and lost momentum and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 8	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	CONSUMATE EASE went up with the box lids and lost three lengths and he stayed back throughout. CAWBOURNE KITT checked off the back of ZAMADDIS LASS entering the back straight and lost several lengths and never recovered.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	MANGAMAHU JACK was the slowest to begin but recovered well to finish in 2nd place. ALL ABOUT JAZZ and FAIR CRUZIN jostled together for a short distance in the home straight and ALL ABOUT JAZZ was unbalanced and lost two lengths.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	LADY ZEENA and OUR GYPSY jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and lost momentum briefly. OUR GYPSY was awkwardly positioned between runners and lost ground on the first bend. RUBBED OUT shifted out going into the final bend and hampered OUR GYPSY for a short distance and she lost momentum briefly. A short distance further on, LADY ZEENA checked over the heels of TENNESSEE SMILE and lost a length.
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	PINK SHELLAC was 2.0 down in weight by 2.0 kilograms from the last start and this was an intentional decrease. VITO BAXTER and BIGTIME MOOLA bumped together when the start was made and BIGTIME MOOLA lost ground and settled back where he stayed throughout the race. CHAIMBO drew box 8 and raced wide throughout covering considerable extra ground but finished the race of well for 3rd place.
Race 12	FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C2 - C2 - 305	SECOND TIME proved very difficult to load into the boxes and held the start up briefly. There was no history of the dog being a problem in the past but its box manners will be monitored in the immediate future. SECOND TIME was then slow to begin losing two lengths. RUA RAMA was also slow away but made up ground well to win the race. CASUAL SLIPPER shifted out going to the first corner and MANU RAMA shifted in and this resulted in checks to SECOND TIME, HOMEBUSH FINE and VENGA GUAPA which all lost ground.
Race 13	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	MAIA BAXTER was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear and was unable to keep up with the pace of the race and finished several lengths last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury and under the provisions of Rule 80.1, is now required to complete a satisfactory trial before racing again.
Race 15	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	ELECTRIC DANDY was up in weight by 2.2 kilograms and this was an intentional increase. CHINESE MAGIC and ELECTRIC DANDY both went off stride during the running and finished at the rear of the field and were referred to the Vet for assessment. CHINESE MAGIC was found to have bruising and muscle soreness and ELECTRIC DANDY was found to have hip support pain. ALLEGRO DASHER turned her head out going into the bend and bumped with another runner. The Trainer J Woolston Bell elected to admit that ALLEGRO DASHER had breached the pursuit rule ( 79.1 b ) and she was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under the provisions of Rule 80.1 before next racing.
