Track: Good After extensive work carried out from early this morning the Curator was able to present the track in a good racing order for today. The track was well matted and groomed during the meeting. All other equipment operated well through out.
Scales: Correct at all weigths
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The meeting was Postponed due to the waterlogged nature of the Track after persistent rain in the previous days leading to today's meeting.
Meeting will be run on Monday 4th January with the first race timed to go at 2.07pm with the last timed to go at 5.28pm.
The fields & scratchings remain as at 11.15am on Sunday morning 3-1-2016 when the meeting was Postponed.
Trainer S Clark 's 3 runners today were withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards due to exceptional circumstances as was the only runner from the B Littlejohn kennels FRESCO STAR race 3
The Stewards inspected the Track at approx. 9.15am race morning and on inspection found that with drying conditions and earlier reports from the Club that the track was improving with the Curator able to use the equipment required to get the Track to a good & safe standard for racing.
The Stewards inspected the Track on several occasions before kennelling and were satisfied that were no safety issues of concern.
The Stewards inspected the Track midway through the meeting and found that the racing surface was being presented in good order.

Race 1	Greyhounds Function Centre Sprint Series Final - C1f - 318	WOBURN ABBY box 5 went up with the lids being last away by 5 or so lengths. Soon after the start HANNIBAL LECTER raced across bumping JUMP ON IT in on to the hind of SCOTT THE LOOKS ( fav ). HANNIBAL LECTER continued to bump and jostle SCOTT THE LOOKS for some distance in the run in to the first bend and was soon checked as THRILLING WIGGLE box 8 raced towards the lead angling in on to HANNIBAL LECTER pushing this dog back in on to SCOTT THE LOOKS hampering both runners who lost ground back towards the rear being checked again as PLAITING PUSS attempted to race up between these dogs. Nearing the home turn HANNIBAL LECTER appeared to make slight contact with the rail losing momentum ,he was uncomfortable in his galloping action in the run home and was referred to the Vet for assessmentand was found to have right deltoid &right deep pectoral muscle soreness.
Race 2	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Final - C0f - 318	Soon after the start BIT RUBY and NEED MAGIC bumped with NEED MAGIC moving inwards across the face of SIMPLY YETI. BIT RUBY racing handy in to the first bend on the outer of NEED MAGIC was bumped as SPOTTED FLYER box 8 improved on her outer pushing BIT RUBY in on to the heels of NEED MAGIC. BIT RUBY stumbled and fell recovered her footing to finish on to the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have shoulder pain on the offside.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C4 - 318	LOOKS ALL GOOD was a late scratching after sustain a laceration whilst being loaded to leave for the track. Racing away from the start ROTOVEGAS RARA and VON TRAPP ( fav ) bumped, ROTOVEGAS RARA lost a length. racing in to the first bend ROTOVEGAS RARA and ARMASTICE DAY came together both runners hampered for a stride or so as ROCKIN' FANCY angled in across the face of these runners to the rail. ROTOVEGAS RARA lost ground to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 4	DogZone Sprint - C1 - 318	Soon after the start CHOCKA ME WALLET, STAINLESS KNOCKA and DANDY STAR all came together bumping and jostling for some strides. Racing in to the first bend DIPSY LALA raced in across the face of CHOCKA ME WALLET with DIPSY LALA running on to the heels of SCREAMING SKULL at this point . Both DIPSY LALA and CHOCKA ME WALLET ran widest on to the top bend covering a bit of extra ground there after.
Race 5	Stitiches Upholstery Stakes - C1 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion OPAWA PEARL was tightened inwards making contact with the rail as PODIUM BONUS and ILLICIT TWIST angled across. OPAWA PEARL went back to the rear at this point ,soon after racing around the bend to the back straight OPAWA PEARL was hampered for a couple of strides after getting on to the heels of PODIUM BONUS. OPAWA PEARL was unable to improve there after through out the running and was referred to the Vet for assessment was found to have minor webbing tears &grazes to the near fore.
Race 6	www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 318	Soon after the start TRINITY FLIGHT box 7 raced across towards the rail in behind runners bumping with SPEARMINT JUJU soon after. Both TRINITY FLIGHT and SPEARMINT JUJU lost ground and were unable to get in to contention there after.
Race 7	Lochinvar Marlow Stakes - C1/2 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion there was bumping and jostling between several runners ,COOL MARLOW box 2 was pushed on to heels as KIMETTO was hampered slightly by KITTY'S SHIRAZ angling across to the lead. LOCHINVAR MAINE on the outer of KIMETTO was tightened inwards as RUBY MURRAY and TULIP MUNCHER. LOCHINVAR MAINE caught heels a couple of times then racing out wide there after finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormalities found.
Race 8	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C2 - 318	Racing from the boxes KAPAI LANA box 6 ran outwards bumping in to RED RASCAL then keeping this runner wide until racing on to the first bend . Racing in to the first down closer in SACRED CAN you attempted to angle inwards tightening ROTOVEGAS SPARKY in on to JETSUN STORM and LOLA'S QUEST with all these runners bumping and jostling for a distance .Nearing the first bend WAERENGA STAR ran outwards as JETSUN STORM ran in with both dogs colliding in to LOLA'S QUEST who made contact with the rail. WAERENGA STAR and LOLA'S QUEST lost a fair amount of ground at this point and finished a margin in the rear at the line . WERENGA STAR was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. LOLA'S QUEST was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	Plasterboard Sprint Series Heat 1 - C3q - 318 Heat 1	In the run to the first bend MISS UNIVERSE box 7 angled across between runners in to the shoulder of BAYMAX, a couple of strides on WHISPER MAGIC box 8 raced up angling in across the face of MISS UNIVERSE in to the shoulder of LITTLE DREAMS. MISS UNIVERSE went in sideways in to BAYMAX as CALAMITY FREE on the inner ran in to the rail coming back out on to BAYMAX resulting in MISS UNIVERSE stumbling going down on her haunches and belly bumping in to DR ROBBIE on her outer with BAYMAX galloping over the hind of MISS UNIVERSE going out wide as he recovered his balance. BAYMAX lost all chance there after . MISS UNIVERSE recovered to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have cuts to the off hind toes. CALAMITY FREE was also referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a right fore to injury & left webbing resplit from an old injury WHISPER MAGIC was referred to the vet for assessment on returning to the kennel block after he was noticed to have a laceration to the right hind requiring stitches.
Race 10	Plasterboard Sprint Series Heat 2 - C3q - 318 Heat 2	Soon after the start PEACOCK PRINCESS ran outwards bumping the hindquarters of MADE TIME. Racing in to the first bend MELMAN angled in across the face of PEACOCK PRINCESS who went in on to SOMEBODY TIFI who was pushed in to ATOONGA AIR resulting in these three runners all losing momentum and ground, a few strides on as SOMEBODY TIFI had gone back PEACOCK PRINCESS angled back in checking SOMEBODY who lost more ground with her finishing several lengths last at the line.
Race 11	Carol's TAB Manurewa Stakes - C4 - 527	Nearing the home turn in a packed 5 dog field WINTERFELL on the inner and NEW LOOK came together in tight quarters ,both dogs lost momentum and some ground possibly costing them a closer finish in the small field.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	FRENCH CURVES was a late scratching at late kennelling after being found to be in season during pre kennelling checks. Racing in to the first bend there was tightening as LADY JANE angled in on to TEPERITA AMBER and YOU BETCHA NODDY, pushing these runners in across the face of SKINNY ANKLES who went back on to MANYANA GROPER. as SKINNY ANKLES was checked and went back a length he ran out over the heels of TEPERITA AMBER checking this runner taking TOXIC REVENGE box 8 out widest racing on to the bend . TOXIC REVENGE lost a fair amount of ground in this incident racing widest finishing in the rear at the line. TEPERITA AMBER after being checked in to the bend recovered well to get back in to 4th placing at the line.
