| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295 | PAGANI (4) was slow to jump. GREET THE JUDGE (6) and HOMEBUSH FINE (3) were both placed in restricted room when racing between ROYAL ACTION (7) and TIME SLAYER (1) into the bend with HOMEBUSH FINE losing ground. TIME SLAYER improved outwards rounding the bend forcing GREET THE JUDGE onto OHOKA BILLY (2) which fell to the track. A subsequent veterinary check of OHOKA BILLY revealed no injury. |
| Race 2 | Happy New Year Dash - C3 - 295 | BELIEVE (7) came inwards and bumped into the hind quarters of KNOW FAULT (6) shortly after the jump. KNOW FAULT then came down the track and bumped with WRINKLES (4) shortly after. These two dogs then jostled prior to the bend. KNOW FAULT was then awkwardly placed and lost ground when BELIEVE came down the track racing into the bend. |
| Race 3 | Mac Developments Stakes - C3 - 520 | ELEPHANT GUNN (6) was slow to leave the boxes. KIRKHAM JACK (1) was placed in restricted room and lost ground when racing into the first bend. A veterinary examination post-race revealed this dog to have skinned it's left fore stopper pad. IDOL LEANNE (5) came down the track rounding the first bend forcing KNOW NEGLECT (2) to check. KNOW NEGLECT and MISS VALLEY (8) came together briefly entering the home straight. |
| Race 4 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C2 - 295 | EARN ME SOME (7) came inwards shortly after the start placing MAX BRAINSTRAIN (5), HOMEBUSH GRU (10/4) and CANDYBOY (3) in restricted room. MARK BE GOOD (6) and OHOKA COBY (8) came together down the back straight. HOMEBUSH GRU came down the track prior to the bend forcing CANDYBOY onto SCREW AND BOLT (2) which got turned. SCREW AND BOLT was then obliged to check off the heels of MAX BRAINSTRAIN rounding the bend. CANDYBOY came out into the running line of HOMEBUSH GRU rounding the bend which forced MARK BE GOOD outwards onto SCREW AND BOLT which was serverly turned. A Veterinary examination of SCREW AND BOLT revealed no injury. |
| Race 5 | Happy Birthday Johnny McInerney Stakes - C2 - 520 | LUMINARY (1) came outwards at the start simultaneously as VERNON BALE (4) came inwards placing OPAWA ZENA (3) in restricted room causing it to lose ground. OPAWA ZENA was then obliged to check off the heals of RUN ZOLA (2) when racing into the first bend with this causing GOLDSTAR COCO (7) and LAGOON TWIST up the track. LUMINARY and VERNON BALE bumped when racing round the first bend as did ZIPPING SONNY (6) and RUN ZOLA. |
| Race 6 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C3 - 295 | CABARITA (4) came inwards at the start bumping with BOTANY ZENVO(3). BOTANY ZENVO then came outwards bumping with SWEET MARYLOU (6) who then climbed on BOTANY ZENVO's heels rounding the bend with both runners losing ground. A veterinary check post-race revealed no injury to BOTANY ZENVO. |

Racing Series Advanced Heat 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | KNOW ANSWER (8) came inwards shortly after the start impeding the running line of SOUTHERN LIGHTS (7) and bumping ANOTHER MESSAGE (6) down onto KNOW SCHOLAR (5). ANOTHER MESSAGE was then placed in restricted room and had to check when racing between SOUTHERN LIGHTS and KNOW SCHOLAR into the first bend. KNOW DANGER (1) had to change ground to the inside of KNOW SCHOLAR entering the straight. |
| Race 8 | N.Z. Racing Series Advanced Heat 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | ROBBIE (4) became awkwardly placed behind OPAWA VAL (1) when racing into the first bend. OPAWA DIESEL (8) and ANOTHER LIZ (6) raced wide after coming together momentarily entering the first bend. KNOW HERO (5) came down the track bumping abruptly with OPAWA VAL rounding the first bend. OPAWA DIESEL and KNOW HERO jostled when racing down the back straight and rounding the final bend. |
| Race 9 | David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C4 - 295 | RICK'S Treasure came inwards abruptly shortly after the start impeding the racing room of HUMAN INSTINCT (5), AIR EXPRESS (4), RODIGUEZ (3) and UNO BRENT (2) which was turned severely.RODRIGUEZ then forced UNO BRENT to check causing an inconvenience to AIR EXPRESS rounding the bend. A veterinary examination of UNO BRENT revealed no injury. |
| Race 10 | Christchurch Casino Stakes - C3 - 520 | JINJA JAFFA (8) was slow to jump. TINA (4) came outwards as IZZEY BALE (7) came inwards shortly after the start placing OPAWA SHACKLEY (6) and BIRCHBROOK(5) in restricted room. BIRCHBROOK was obliged to check off the heels of TINA racing round the final bend with this causing IZZEY BALE and JINJA JAFFA an inconvenience. IZZEY BALE was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination and found to have sustained torn nail on it's right side and have pain at the base of it's tail. |
| Race 11 | Garden City Chem Dry Sprint - C5 - 295 | HARKONEN BALE (6) was slow to jump. OPAWA ROCKET (9/8) came inwards abruptly at the start checking KERAMUS (7). MUST DESIRE (3) was obliged to check off the heals of PAPERBOND (5) rounding the bend. JAMAICAN ARCHIE (2) raced wide rounding the bend forcing HARKONEN BALE up the track. MUST DESIRE had to check off the heals of GUMP'S THE NAME entering the home straight. |

HOMEBUSH RUFUS (2) came outwards at the start impeding NO LEAF CLOVER (3) with NO LEAF CLOVER then losing ground when racing to the inside of TOKEN ACE (4) entering the bend. HOMEBUSH RUFUS was severely checked when racing between TOKEN ACE and CHOKEHOLD (1) rounding the bend. |
