Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition being well maintained through out the programme. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The( A Turnwald) runners were scratched today with the permission of the Stewards due to an injury and unavalibility of staff to drive outside their licence hours
FOREVER IRIS ( S Ross ) completed a satisfactory trial with out blinkers on the 28-12-15 and is now cleared to race.
HIGHWAY HOUND ( M Lozelle ) completed a satisfactory trial per rule 80.1 and is now cleared to race.
CAWBOURNE OHIO ( C Roberts ) was withdrawn before final field selection from CLUBHOUSE SERIES FINAL race 12 tonight Vet cert to be provided

Race 1	Come have a punt @ BOP TAB this summer Stakes - C1 - 457	In the run to the first bend KNOW ENERGY ( fav ) angled inwards across the heels of STINGER. KNOW ENERGY became awkwardly placed for a couple of strides coming together and bumping with WINSOME DAN as the field raced in to the bend. FOREVER IRIS after being slowest in to stride improved on the outer towards the home turn finishing on in to 2nd placing at the line. FOREVER IRIS showed signs of lameness on pulling up to the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have pain in the left wrist with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Greyhounds North Graduation Distance - C1d - 650	Soon after the start RAMAH REASON ran outwards as WHAT THAT DOES ran inwards with both dogs bumping together then jostling for some strides as the field raced in to the bend on the first occasion. Soon after entering the first bend RAMAH REASON lost contact with the field racing some 5 or more lengths in the rear racing widest along the back straight. Racing across the top bend RAMAH REASON improved around the outer towards midfield finishing on in the latter stages to finish in to 6th placing at the line. RAMAH REASON was referred to the Vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. The Stewards reviewed the race with concerns regarding the performance of Ramah Reason during parts of the running, Trainer Mr Pomeroy had left the course before being contacted and was contacted Saturday morning the connections reported the dog to be lame this morning and will be withdrawn from Auckland meeting Sunday 3-1-2016 and presented to the Vet on course at the meeting.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C2/3 - 457	WAIRIO DEE JAY box 2 was away well in the early running. racing in to the first bend WAIRIO DEE JAY angled outwards on to GOLDEN IVY, ZIPPING EXPRESS, KNOW SALUTE and CAWBOURNE CLAY widest out hampering and checking these runners for several strides. Soon after WAIRIO DEE JAY lost a length or so going back on to GOLDEN IVY, on her outer ZIPPING EXPRESS caught the hind of KNOW SALUTE losing momentum and a couple of lengths, all these runners were unable to get back in to contention there after..
Race 4	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4/5 - 375	FORTIS FLYER was a late scratching after a elbow injury was detected as the dogs were being prepared for pre race parading. FORTIS FLYER has been stood down for 7 days. PAY DA TRAIL ( fav ) from box 1 was the early leader, nearing the home turn SUBIC BAY raced up on his outer angling into the shoulder of PAY DA TRAIL bumping the dog off balance as the field turned for run in ,SUBIC BAY then ran in across the face of PAY DA TRAIL checking this runner losing momentum and several lengths where he finished in 4th placing at the line. PAY DA TRAIL was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 5	Te Awamutu Self Storage Maiden Series Final - C0f - 457	Racing to the first bend MAJESTIC ACTION box 3 lay in on OSCAR TRON box 2 for some strides, MAJESTIC ACTION went back a length angling down to the rail. Racing in to the first bend EMBRACE ME box 6 angled in on to SIMPLY YETI forcing this runner across on to OSCAR TRON and in on to PATT'S PICK with MAJESTIC ACTION on the inner being checked back as OSCAR TRON ran out room being tightened back losing several lengths back towards the rear. OSCAR TRON recovered well to finish in to 4th placing at the line. CAWBOURNE STEPS box 4 was slowest away and was unable to get in to contention racing a margin in the rear through out finishing on to the lure. CAWBOURNE STEPS was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have bruised left hind metatarsal wit ha 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Palamountains Exceed Stakes - C4/5 - 457	TIMMY TRUMPET ( fav ) dwelt at the start racing midfield to the first bend where he soon quickly improved to race handy finishing best in the run home. Soon after the start ARTIC ACTION ran in as ROCKY BOY ran out resulting in CAWBOURNE STEVE being tightened and checked back from between these runners as they came together. Racing in to the first bend ROCKY BOY race across running in to ARTIC ACTION pushing this runner in to CAWBOURNE STEVE ,as ARTIC ACTION lost a length he caught the heels of ROCKY BOY checking this runner. ARTIC ACTION ,ROCKY BOY and CAWBOURNE STEVE all lost a fair bit of ground at this point and were unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 7	Box 1 Gold Sprint Series Final - C2f - 375	THRILLING CARTER box 5 went up with the lids being last away by several lengths. Racing in to the first bend DR ROBBIE caught the heels of BROWN EYE BOY then angled out over his heels forcing PEACOCK PRINCESS out on to BOSTON STRIKE ,TRIDENT caught the heels of BOSTON STRIKE as this runner was pushed out in to his racing line. Nearing the home turn DR ROBBIE angled out over the heels of BOSTON STRIKE forcing PEACOCK PRINCESS widest as the field turned for the run home, all these runners covered a bit of extra ground due to the interference. THRILLING CARTER after a poor start was able to make good ground along the inner across the top bend finishing on strongly for 3rd placing at the line.
Race 8	Arch Lawrence Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 747	All clear
Race 9	Palamountains Nutrition Waikato Classic - R/Af - 457	Soon after the start there was bumping and jostling between several runners as NANGAR SATR box 8 angled across the face of KAVA BLU who caught heels stumbling slightly for a stride, MELHAM was pushed in across the face of MY FANTASY in on to KNOW DECISION turning this runner sideways for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend KAVA BLU improved between runners causing tightening and checks to MELHAM,MY FANTASY and KNOW DECISION. MI TENSILE box 1 was best away in to an early lead, nearing the home turn MI TENSILE drifted out several widths off the rail allowing KAVA BLU who was making ground rapidly to race through on his inner to take the lead in the early run in to the home straight where KAVA BLU came to the end of his run soon after with MI TENSILE able to finish off best to win. The Stewards reviewed the run down the home straight where MI TENSILE appeared to be beaten for a couple of strides but it was clear that the effort that KAVA BLU had put in after early interference and making a big run to get to the lead the effort told in the end allowing MI TENSILE to finish best in the latter stages.
Race 10	Denis Cole Memorial Waikato Sprint Final - C5f - 375	Racing from the boxes SOLARIAN ran in to GOOD RETURN. racing in to the first bend THRILLING GALAXY vying for the lead angled in across the face of ALLEGRO CLASS checking this runner causing him to stumble slightly for a stride. ALLEGRO CLASS was then shunted back as TALKIN FANCY angled in wards severely tightening THRILLING GALAXY in on to COUNTRY GUN, THRILLING GALAXY was lucky to stay on her feet as she went back to the rear then ran out across heels racing on to the top bend finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 11	Waikato Cup - C5 - 457	CAWBOURNE BRICK box 1 was away well from the jump but was unable to get to the lead ending up midfield in the run in and around the bend finishing in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 12	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Series Final - C1f - 457	THRILLING RIOT and APRIL'S MY MUM were slowest away. From the jump JINJA MIA ran in bumping in to MAGIC MIKE who lost a length catching the heels of JIJA MIA and becoming unbalanced for some strides. Racing to the home turn MAGIC MIKE racing on the outer of PERCENTAGE GIRL made contact with her hindquarters resulting in PERCENTAGE GIRL losing half a length bumping MAGIC MIKE midsection with this runner going sideways for a couple of strides, PERCENTAGE GIRL lost momentum going back to the rear at this point . MAGIC MIKE appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action in the run to the line and was referred to the Vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
