COOL TIME (2) was crowded for room entering the bend when to the inside of SKYLER WHITE (5) which was forced inwards by JETSUN STORM. JETSUN STORM continued to shift ground inwards with SKYLER WHITE being placed in restricted room soon after. ASTA (6) ran outwards entering the home straight colliding with BIGTIME MOOLA (7) which was unbalanced. |
| Race 2 | Sel's TAB Mangere Series Heat 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | ZOE'S FUNK (8) was slow to jump. SPOTTED FLYER (4) and SCOTT NO LIMBS (5) collided soon after the start. SIMPLY YETI (7) ran inwards through the early stages placing WATCH THAT GYPSY (6) in restricted room between SPOTTED FLYER. OSCAR TRON (2) was inclined to run outwards entering the bend resulting in SCOTT NO LIMBS being forced wider on the track. SCOTT NO LIMBS was then further hampered when colliding with SCOTT NO SHOW (1) which ran outwards across the heels of OSCAR TRON. WATCH THAT GYPSY and SIMPLY YETI collided approaching the bend, with this resulting in both runners becoming briefly unbalanced. |
| Race 3 | Stitches Upholstery Stakes - C1 - 527 | PLENTY OF TIME (1) went up with the lids at the start, losing ground. PLENTY OF TIME then had to check across heels rounding the first bend when awkwardly placed to the inside of RAMAH REASON (7). MATALINO TWIST (4) raced in restricted room entering the final bend, losing momentum. ZIPPING SASHA (2) returned to the parade dias seemingly lame, with a subsequent veterinary examination revealing no abnormalities. |
| Race 4 | Sel's TAB Mangere Series Heat 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 2 | THAT ICE COLD (5) was last to jump. DRUNKEN LADY (4) and SCOTT SOME TICKA (6) collided soon after the start. THAT ICE COLD was inclined to run inwards through the early stages placing SCOTT NO VALUE (3) in restricted room adjacent to the running rail, with SCOTT NO VALUE clipping the heel of that runner soon after. THAT ICE COLD then make the bend awkwardly contacting the running rail. THAT ICE COLD was examined by the veterinarian following the event and was cleared of injury. GOT TIME (8) ran down the track entering the bend crowding DRUNKEN LADY. DRUNKEN LADY then checked outwards across the heels of GOT TIME resulting in SCOTT SOME TICKA being briefly inconvenienced. GOT TIME contacted the hindquarters of BIT RUBY (2) entering the home straight when attempting a narrow run to the inside of that runner. GOT TIME then ran outwards across heels colliding with THAT ICE COLD which was unbalanced. NEED MAGIC (7) ran inwards through the early stages of the home straight impeding the progress of BIT RUBY. SCOTT SOME TICKA underwent a veterinary examination following the event which revealed triceps soreness. |
| Race 5 | Greyhound Function Centre Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | SCOTT NO ODDS (5) was buffeted heavily soon after the start between OPAWA BINGE (6) and LURE ME IN (2), both of which shifted ground abruptly, with the trailing TULIP MUNCHER (9) being inconvenienced. LURE ME IN was tightened approaching the bend between JUMP ON IT (3) and SCOTT NO ODDS which ran inwards. JUMP ON IT had to check soon after when awkwardly placed near the heels of PLAITING PUSS (7) which ran inwards, with this resulting in SCOTT NO ODDS and TULIP MUNCHER being hampered for several strides. LURE ME IN was examined by the veterinarian following the event which revealed a dewclaw injury. |
| Race 6 | Greyhound Function Centre Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | HANNIBAL LECTER (8) ran inwards abruptly from the boxes crowding CABALLE (4), QUEEN STAR (2) and FRENCH CURVES (1). CABALLE ran outwards soon after resulting in WOBOURN ABBEY (3) becoming awkwardly placed and eventually contacting that runners heels. IT'S THE DREAM (6) ran inwards entering the bend forcing CABALLE into the line of QUEEN STAR, with this resulting in QUEEN STAR making heavy contact with the hindquarters of CABALLE which became severely unbalanced and faltered. CABALLE failed to finish the event, with a subsequent veterinary examination revealing a biceps tendon injury. |
| Race 7 | Carol's TAB Manurewa Stakes - C1 - 527 | CONTEMPORANEOUS (6) ran inwards abruptly from the boxes colliding with COOKIE MONSTER (5) which in turn bumped WHO ROCKS (4). PODIUM BONUS (2) and WHO ROCKS were crowded entering the first bend when between ILLICIT TWIST (1) and COOKIE MONSTER, with WHO ROCKS having to check soon after when awkwardly placed near the heels of CHATEAU NEUF (7). |
| Race 8 | MTA Gift Sprint - C1 - 318 | HIGH CALIBRE (7) was crowded soon after the start between BOTANY HOLLY (6) and TEPIRITA AVEDON (8), both of which shifted ground. TEPIRITA AVEDON then ran inwards abruptly hampering HIGH CALIBRE and BOTANY HOLLY. MAKING YOU PAW (2) ran outwards abruptly entering the bend contacting the hindquarters of TEPIRITA AVEDON which was dragged down momentarily. MAKING YOU PAW ran wide soon after resulting in HIGH CALIBRE becoming awkwardly placed and clipping that runners heel. HIGH CALIBRE was examined by the veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | Plasterboard Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | TRIDENT (5) and BORIS GUMP (7) were last to jump. COOL MARLOW (6) ran inwards through the early stages briefly hampering RUBY MURRAY (4) which became awkwardly placed on heels. TRIDENT, BORIS GUMP and RUBY MURRAY were tightened entering the first bend between WHAT THAT DOES (8) which ran inwards and COOL MARLOW which was forced outwards by ZIPPING SONIA (3). ZIPPING EXPRESS (2) contacted the hindquarters of WINTERFELL (1) approaching the bend when improving rapidly onto that runners heels. ZIPPING EXPRESS checked outwards across the heels of WHAT THAT DOES soon after, resulting in ZIPPING EXPRESS and BORIS GUMP colliding. |
| Race 10 | McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C3 - 318 | CALIFORNIA KING (5) ran inwards from the boxes forcing ATOONGA AIR (4) into the line of SOMEBODY TIFI (2) which was hampered. VERY CHILLY (9) was inclined to run outwards through the early stages. CALIFORNIA KING was crowded entering the bend between MADE TIME (3) and MISS UNIVERSE (6) which ran inwards. MISS UNIVERSE was hampered soon after when contacted from behind by CALIFORNIA KING which checked outwards, with this resulting in the trailing VERY CHILLY being hampered. |
| Race 11 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C4 - 318 | STYLISH FANCY (2) and JAY LOW (3) collided soon after the start. VON TRAPP (1) and ROCKIN' FANCY (4) jostled through the early stages. VON TRAPP then ran outwards entering the bend hampering BRITNEY STAR (5) which was forced into the line of ROCKIN' FANCY. Soon after, ROCKIN' FANCY checked outwards off the heels of BRITNEY STAR resulting in LOOKS ALL GOOD (8) and HASTAG JOSH (9) being hampered and forced wider on the track. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | TRINITY FLIGHT (6) ran inwards abruptly from the boxes hampering SONIC ATTACK (5) and BOTANY BEV (4). BOTANY BEV was then obliged to race wide for the remainder. COSMIC WARRA (3) was crowded for a distance rounding the bend between CHOCKA ME WALLET (1) and TRINITY FLIGHT, with the trailing SONIC ATTACK and CAROLINA MOON (9) being inconvenienced briefly. |
