Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: FLYING BLAKE was a late scratching when connections and several other Trainers were unable to remove the dog from the Trainers vehicle due to its aggressive response to their approaches. This may have been due in part to the dogs muzzle being caught in its mouth. The dog was eventually able to be sedated enough by the Vet to allow the muzzle to be removed and there was no stand down imposed due to the unusual circumstances prevailing at the time.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	WALNUT started from box 8 and he raced wide throughout covering considerable extra ground and finished in 2nd last place. HOMEBUSH MAGIC drifted off the back of the field soon after the start and she stayed back throughout to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a carpus injury.
Race 2	Buck Fever At Stud C1 - C1 - 375	CHLOE'S PRODIGY shifted in soon after the start and crowded TAKEAWAY and ANOTHER CHARM which both lost ground. TAKEAWAY became unbalanced losing further ground when racing around the bend.
Race 3	NZ Bred Sprint C1 - SPECA - 375	MANGAMAHU JACK was slow to begin losing four lengths and he then raced wide throughout over extra ground and finished in last place. ASTERIA shifted in soon after the start and crowded CLEARLY MAGIC, OPAL JEWEL and FOX IN BOX which all lost ground. FOX IN BOX recovered the best of the three and made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 4	Invitation Stakes C1/2 - INV - 457	CAWBOURNE LOCH began awkwardly losing ground and settled at the rear. He then moved up into a tight position adjacent to the rail on the bend and was checked and fell but regained his feet and finished onto the lure. CAWBOURNE LOCH was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain and bruising to the lumbar region.
Race 5	Affordable Pet Accessories C3 - C3 - 375	BLUE AND CURLY was checked from behind by INDIVIDUAL LILY going into the bend and went back onto CAWBOURNE CLAY with both losing several lengths. A short distance further on INDIVIDUAL LILY and CALL ME BLUE bumped together and they both lost ground, went back to the rear and they never recovered. INDIVIDUAL LILY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have gracilus and quadricep muscle pain.
Race 6	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 7	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C1 - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE PAWS and OPAWA JAY were slow to begin and settled back. CAWBOURNE PAWS galloped on the back of DOGGED DAN going into the bend and they both lost several lengths and all chance and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 8	Greyhounds As Pets C2 - C2 - 375	WEE DIGER shifted out going into the bend and this resulted in crowding and checks to WORBOYS and DEATHSTAR and they went back onto CAWBOURNE JOSH with all three losing ground and they never recovered and finished in the rear group.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 457	GOODTIME MIKE and SHANE MCBELL bumped together soon after the start and they settled back. NO MORE MARMITE, GOODTIME MIKE and SHANE MCBELL bumped together going into the bend and were all briefly unbalanced.
Race 10	Preston's Master Butchers C4 - C4 - 375	FREEDOM FLYER and CAWBOURNE GEORGE bumped together and were briefly unbalanced losing ground on the home turn.
Race 11	wheeldeal.co.nz C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	HOMEBUSH HANSOME began awkwardly losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race and finished in last place. HOMEBUSH SPOOK was observed to have a cut mouth on pulling up, was referred to the Vet for assessment and did not require any treatment or stand down.
Race 12	Invitation Stakes C3/4 - INV - 457	KWASANT was observed to shorten stride going to the first corner and she then drifted off the back of the field and finished the race several lengths last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral, quadricep and iliopsoas muscle pain and flexor tendon and supraspinatus muscle pain.
Race 13	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C1 - C1 - 375	QUEVADO checked off the back of LIN BAXTER on the bend and shifted out onto KOTUMBA and they were both checked losing ground and finished in the rear group. LIN BAXTER was checked and unbalanced entering the home straight when CAWBOURNE PIRATE moved through on the inside and bumped her and she went back quickly and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 14	Merry Christmas From The PNGRC - C1 - 375	PHANTOM WAY began well from box 1 and was handy early but was crowded from the outside going to the first turn and went back to near the rear. She then worked her way through the field and finished very well for 2nd placing.
