Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition being well groomed and watered through out the meeting. All other equipment operated well .

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	LOLA BAXTER racing handy to the first bend was checked as VENGA GUAPA box 7 raced across forcing JOBS RITE in across the face of LOLA BAXTER who caught the heels of JOBS RITE becoming unbalanced both dogs went back to wards the rear and were unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line. LOLA BAXTER was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain in the right quadriceps & left pectoral muscles.
Race 2	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 FINAL - C1f - 520	MILLY RIVERS dwelt at the start being last away in the early running. SILVER TOKAM racing handy in to the bend on the first occasion was bumped and checked when tightened between INDEFINATE ORDER box 3 & and FAST RIGBY box 7. SILVER TOKAM was buffeted for some strides going back through the field losing a fair amount of ground and was unable to get back in to contention there after. On the home turn HAWKESBURY FEVER in the lead angled in bumping and tightening FAST RIGBY for a couple of strides. FAST RIGBY lost some momentum but recovered well to finish in a close up 3rd placing at the line. HWKESBURY FEVER was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request some time after the race with bruising to the left gracilis muscle.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C2 - C2 - 305	BOTANY WIN was a late scratching on Vets advice at kennelling with bruising over both quadriceps & gracilis muscles. RAPPER DASH box 5 began awkwardly being last away by several lengths. RAPPER DASH was last in to the first bend due to interference ahead was able to make ground quickly to finish in to 4th placing at the line. Racing to the first bend PIXIE DUST box 7 angled across as HOMEBUSH LIMBO box 3 moved out both dogs bumped and jostled with PIXIE DUST pushing in on to HOMEBUSH LIMBO who ran out of room and fell, HOMEBUSH DAWN hurdled the falling runner running out on to RAPPER DASH with these two runners going widest on to the top bend . HOMEBUSH LIMBO was quickly to her paws to finish on to the lure some distance behind the rest of the field and was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have suffered bruising over the loins & rump.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	WALL AGE was last away and was soon after observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action there after dropping a fair way off the rest of the field finishing on to the lure a margin in the rear. WALL AGE was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have a right side gracilis muscle injury. ABSINTHE MINDED was referred to the Vet at the handlers request sometime after the race where he was found to have a laceration on the left elbow.
Race 5	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	In the run to the first bend CHEAP SHOT MATTY angled outwards across the face of LONE STAR LAD checking and hampering this runner for some strides . Racing on to the bend ALLEGRO BOOM was hampered as ALLEGRO CLASS angled inwards tightening him for a couple of strides. ALLEGRO BOOM ran widest on to the top bend covering extra ground finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	TO THE BANK and GLAD'S APOPPING came together bumping soon after the start. CAWBOURNE PHILIP box 8 raced across in to the bend on the first occasion pushing GLAD'S APOPPING back in on to TO THE BANK forcing this runner back off heels.TO THE BANK went wide around the bend in to the back straight and once clear of CAWBOURNE PHILIP, TO THE BANK attempted to make ground but was too far back to make an impression finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	CAWBOURNE ROWAN got away from the handler on the way to the start, he only went 10 metres and was quickly caught. All clear.
Race 8	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	ELITE DOSE box 1 stood when the lids went up being awkwardly and last away by 7 or more lengths. ELITE DOSE caught the field along the inner across the top bend finishing in to 6th placing at the line. ELITE DOSE was referred to the Vet as a precaution. racing from the start FUNKY FREDDY ran out across the face of BIG FAT GYPSY who bumped with WHEELIE CHILLIE at this point. BLUE AND CURLY ( fav ) was slow away in the early stages and was forced to race wide there after when attempting to improve around runners. BLUE AND CURLY covered a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 9	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	POPSOME TAGS ( fav ) was away well in the early stages .Racing in to the first bend POPSOME TAGS angled across between runners as the field raced in to the bend. POPSOME TAGS bumped with SEDGEBROOK BABE losing momentum going back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing several lengths back in last placing at the line. POPSOME TAGS was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have injuries to left carpus & quadriceps muscle.
Race 10	AON CPF C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	RITZA DANNY was a late scratching before leaving for the track as the dog had suffered an injury. The connections of RITZA DANNY have advised that the dog is to be retired from racing. Soon after the start CAWBOURNE BRICK and CHECK THE MAIL came together jostling for a couple of strides, wider out CHASING THE LINE box 8 raced across bumping MARLISA in to SEDGEBROOK MAGIC,MARLISA was checked as SEDGEBROOK MAGIC made contact with her hindquarters unbalancing her for some strides. Racing around the bend on the first occasion CHASING THE LINE widest out raced past runners angling in tightening MARLISA back on to LONESOME NITRO who was forced to check out off heels forcing SEDGEBROOK MAGIC to race widest around the bend in to the back straight. SEDGEBROOK MAGIC, MARLISA and LONESOME NITRO were unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 11	FIRST SECURITY C4 - C4 - 305	EMPTY BANK box 6 was forced to race widest in to and across the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing in 6th placing at the line . SENORITA TINA( fav ) raced midfield through out only battled in the run home to finish in 5th placing at the line. EMPTY BANK was referred to the Vet on returning to the kennel block where a laceration to the off fore was found to have suffered a claw injury to the right carpus.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305	Racing in to the first bend KERRY LANE was tightened back as ONE BROKE GIRL angled across to the rail followed by BRILLIANT JAYLA causing KERRY LANE to lose a couple more lengths back to the rear. Nearing the home turn BRILLIANT JAYLA was checked as HOMEBUSH OLIVE angled down to the rail ,soon after BRILLIANT JAYLA and KERRY LANE bumped as BRILLIANT JAYLA angled outwards, both dogs lost momentum and bumped again shortly after being the last two runners to the line.
