BUTTERBEAN (2) and GOLDSTAR BOMBER (7) came together prior to the bend causing an inconvenience to ADROIT (6) which had to check. ADROIT then raced wide around the bend. MARY MARLOW (3) and OM NOM NOM (8) came together racing into the straight. |
| Race 2 | Fast Archer At Stud Dash - C3 - 295 | Racing into the bend OPAWA LEAN MEAT (6) was placed in restricted room and faltered when placed between HOMEBUSH RUFUS (4) who lost ground, and MY FIRST LITTER (5). OPAWA LEAN MEAT was subsequently subjected to a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injury. MY FIRST LITTER checked off KNOW SALUTE (7) racing into the bend. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C3 - 520 | JINJA JAFFA (7) and KNOW NEGLECT (9) were slow to jump. WILLIS (4) had it's running line restricted through the early stages by IN THE BOOT (5). SOLSTICE (6) came down the track when racing into the bend forcing IN THE BOOT downwards onto JINJA BILLY which had to check and lose ground with OPAWA GUMSIE (2) also being inconvenienced. Racing into the first bend AIR EXPRESS (1) came outwards further checking JINJA BILLY and forcing OPAWA GUMISIE, WILLIS and JINJA JAFFA up the track. Racing out of the back straight JINJA BILLY crowded the racing room of OPAWA GUMISIE. |
| Race 4 | Mac Developments Sprint - C4 - 295 | COSTING MONEY (5) began awkwardly losing ground. ONLY GOT TIME (2) and CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (6) were momentarily placed in tight quarters prior to the bend. |
| Race 5 | Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C4 - 520 | UGO FLASH (4) crowded the racing room of KNOW MENTION (1) when racing into the first bend. |
| Race 6 | Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C3 - 295 | CABARITA (7) came inwards severely over the early stages crowding all inside runners. |
| Race 7 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C4 - 295 | MOJO BURST (2) was turned rounding the bend after crowding the racing room of ANOTHER FAN (7). COLLECTING MONEY (5) had to check off the heels of when exiting the bend and as a result inconvenienced IMPERSONATOR (3) and ANOTHER FAN. |
| Race 8 | Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C5 - 295 | DREAM LARGE (3) was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination and cleared of injury after it galloped awkwardly for a stride racing into the bend losing ground. FIREMANS GALAXY (5) had to check to the outside of MUST DESIRE (8) entering the straight. PUMA PANTS (4) was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination after it fell at the lure with this revealing no injury. |

Distance - C1/2d - 645 | GOLDSTAR PRO (8) was turned outwards rounding the first bend when crowding the racing room of GOLDSTAR COCO (4) and KNOW SECURITY (7) with both these dogs losing momentum. UNOVA BALE (6) became awkwardly placed on the heels of VERNON BALE (2) rounding the first bend. GOLDSTAR PO and GOLDSTAR COCO came together rounding the final bend. LAGOON MYTYE (3) was subjected to a post-race veterinary examination after it was showing signs of cramp at the lure. GOLDSTAR COCO was also subjected to a post-race veterinary examination with this revealing minor soreness to its right wrist. |
| Race 10 | C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295 | CAWBOURNE JELLY (3) and KERAMUS (2) jostled racing into the bend with this resulting in POKY PIG (1) being placed in restricted room and losing all momentum. |
| Race 11 | Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | KNOW CLOWN (4) came outwards just after the start and bumped with AMBILIGHT (6). AMBILIGHT then had to check off the heels of CAWBOURNE WAR (7) racing round the first bend. |
| Race 12 | Livamol Sprint - C4 - 295 | TINA (7) came inwards racing into the bend and placed WEARS THE GOLD (5) in restricted room which lost momentum.FROST YOURSELF (8) and WEARS THE GOLD bumped when racing into the bend with FROST YOURSELF losing ground. A subsequent veterinary examination of this bitch revealed lameness to its right hind leg. |
