BLACK ROADSTAR then had to check briefly rounding the bend when improving up onto the heels of THATZ MARION. THATZ MARION ran wide entering the home straight pushing CHARRINA HILL wider on the track. |
| Race 2 | KEENAN CONCRETE C0 - C0 - 305 | EVE NING HILL (6) ran inwards abruptly from the boxes colliding with MISS HOOK (5) which was then dragged down for several strides, losing ground. ANOTHER ZIRCON (4) was crowded approaching the bend between SMART DANDY (3) and JUST WONG (7) which ran inwards, with ANOTHER ZIRCON and SMART DANDY losing ground. SCOTT NO ODDS (2) ran outwards entering the bend colliding with the leading SHE'S MUSTARD (1) which lost momentum. EVE NING HILL ran outwards across the heels of JUST WONG entering the home straight, resulting in the trailing DEBONAIR PIRATE (8) becoming awkwardly placed near heels briefly. MISS HOOK was examined by the Veterinarian following the event which revealed thigh muscle soreness. |

| Race 4 | J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 305 | VEE SINTILATING (4) was last to jump. DOUBLE ICE (1) and BLACKIE CHAN (2) collided soon after the start. SCOTT NO VALUE (5) ran inwards approaching the bend colliding with BLACKIE CHAN, with SCOTT NO VALUE becoming unbalanced losing ground. DARK WITCH ran inwards soon after checking BLACKIE CHAN, with the trailing SCOTT NO VALUE being inconvenienced. BLACKIE CHAN was examined by the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. |
| Race 5 | LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH DODGER (5) and SO UNBELIEVABLE (6) collided leaving the boxes, with SO UNBELIEVABLE being further hampered when awkwardly near the heels of WHITE LEGS (2) which ran outwards. ANOTHER CHARM (4) ran outwards through the early stages pushing WITCH MISTY (7) wider on the track. TRINITY FLIGHT (8) had to check briefly rounding the bend when improving up onto the heels of WITCH MISTY. HOMEBUSH DODGER improved onto the heels of WHITE LEGS rounding the bend, losing momentum. |

LICK IT UP (8) ran inwards abruptly entering the first bend tightening I'M A CATCH and MEG'S ME MUM, with I'M A CATCH losing its footing and falling to the track resulting in the trailing MEG'S ME MUM, CHLOE'S PRODIGY (3) and OPAWA LARRY (7) being hampering. MEG'S ME MUM checked outwards across the heels of HOMEBUSH NAKI (4) rounding the home bend. LICK IT UP ran outwards over the concluding stages impeding the progress of HOMEBUSH NAKI, MEG'S ME MUM and ALEMEIN BLONDE (1). I'M A CATCH was examined by the Veterinarian following the event which revealed a thigh laceration. LICK IT UP collapsed following the event and was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon which revealed the dog to be displaying signs of Hypoxia. Blood samples were obtained from LICK IT UP and sent for analysis. |

FAIR TRADING (5) was slow to jump. LORD DE AIR (6) ran outwards through the early stages covering extra ground. MCJOPSON (4) and CAWBOURNE MARK (8) jostled for a short distance approaching the bend. CAWBOURNE MARK then had to check briefly entering the home straight when awkwardly placed near the heels of DENALI (3). |

BRUISER BALE (4) and MISS VOTCHKA (6) collided leaving the boxes after both runners shifted ground abruptly, with MISS VOTCHKA being further hampered when PACIFIC SUNRISE (7) ran inwards. PACIFIC SUNRISE ran inwards entering the first bend tightening APOLLO (3) which lost ground. APOLLO was crowded soon after when MISS VOTCHKA ran inwards, with ZIPPING ZOCK (2) being inconvenienced. ZIPPING JOCK checked outwards across the heels of MISS VOTCHKA rounding the first bend, losing momentum. |

FORTIS FIONA (6) ran inwards abruptly from the boxes hampering LIZ WATTO (5) and GOODTIME ALANNAH (4), with SAMMY BAXTER (3) being forced down the track into the line of BRILLIANT ASHLEE which was heavily bumped. GOODTIME ALANNAH had to check rounding the bend when awkwardly placed near the heels of CHERIES BOY (8). SAMMY BAXTER raced in restricted room entering the home straight when improving into a narrow run to the inside of FORTIS FIONA. |

BIG BEN (1) improved onto the heels of QUEVADO rounding the bend, resulting in QUEVADO being unbalanced for several strides. MISS BUNNYTHORPE (6) and WORKING JEWEL (9/3) came together and collided in the early stages of the home straight. HOMEBUSH BUTTON was examined by the Veterinarian following the event and was found to have pain in the left satorius muscle. |
