Judicial report: ALLEGRO MASTER and SPRING GAMBO completed a satisfactory trial which was required under the provisions of Rule 80.1. OPAWA TOM which had been stood down under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure on 12.12.15 at Wanganui was again presented to the Vet under Rule 79.5 and found to have injuries requiring a 28 days stand down. Subsequently, the original stand down was rescinded but OPAWA TOM is still required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 457	CANDY CRUSHER shifted in going into the bend and crowded FAT BOYZ FLYER which checked and ran wide losing ground and he never recovered. A short distance further on, SHE'S MUSTARD was checked and became unbalanced and drifted back to the rear and she stayed there to finish in last place.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C2 - C2 - 375	CHINESE STAR shifted in from the start and set up a chain reaction of movement which affected FLYING BLAKE, MANU RAMA, PREMIER PRINCE and CAWBOURNE JOSH and they all lost ground. FLYING BLAKE recovered the best of those affected and he made up ground to finish in 2nd place. WEE DIGER shifted out soon after the start and covered extra ground during the running but still finished in 3rd place.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accessories C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	One of the favourites TIMMY TRUMPET began awkwardly losing four lengths but then made up ground quite well to finish in 5th place.
Race 4	Invitation Sprint C1/2 - INV - 375	MANGAMAHU JACK began awkwardly losing three lengths. GOODTIME MIKE and FANGIRL were also a little slow to begin and they settled back. MANGAMAHU JACK and GOODTIME MIKE both ran on quite well to finish in 4th and 5th places.
Race 5	Buck Fever At Stud C1 - C1 - 375	One of the favourites CAWBOURNE PIRATE began awkwardly losing ground and he settled back but made up ground to finish in 4th place. GOODTIME LADY was hampered going into the bend when runners drawn further out shifted in towards the rail.
Race 6	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C1 - C1 - 375	MI TENSILE and OPAWA CHRIS were the slowest to begin losing three lengths. MI TENSILE quickly made up the lost ground and went on to win the race. CHAIMBO, MR.ZAFONIC and WORKING JEWEL jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and lost momentum briefly. A short distance further on, WORKING JEWEL and LICK IT UP jostled together and WORKING JEWEL was severely checked losing all chance and she back back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. CHAIMBO was examined by the Vet and cleared to race after it was observed that the dog had vomited when going to the start. CHAIMBO was observed to cramp badly following the race, was again subjected to a Vet inspection and was again cleared of injury.
Race 7	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C1 - C1 - 457	MILLY RIVERS was the slowest to begin and she settled back and stayed there throughout the race to finish in 2nd last place. BANSHEE BOY jumped in from the start and bumped with CAWBOURNE SATIN with both being hampered and settling back.
Race 8	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	DEANO shifted in across the line of PRINCESS NOVAK going into the bend and was galloped on by that runner with both bitches losing several lengths and all chance and they finished at the rear of the field.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	LONESOME NITRO, CAWBOURNE CROUCH, TAKAMORI and OPAWA KAREN bumped together soon after the start and were briefly unbalanced losing momentum. COSMIC SCRAMBLE shifted out abruptly going into the bend and bumped with OPAWA KAREN and they both lost momentum for a short distance.
Race 10	Invitation Sprint C3/4 - INV - 375	BRILLIANT JAYLA began awkwardly losing her footing behind and she lost four lengths and stayed back at the rear throughout the race. WHEELIE GOOD shifted out going to the first turn and hampered CAWBOURNE SARAH for a short distance. He continued to shift ground out and forced BIGTIME REIGN over extra ground going into the bend.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C1 - C1 - 457	SWIFTLY CHLOE shifted ground inwards in the home straight and checked THRILLING TOBY which almost fell and he lost four lengths in the incident.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	LADY ZEENA shifted ground from the start and hampered CAWBOURNE GRACIE and WHERE'S SHIRAZ for a short distance. MY FANTASY and HOMEBUSH HANSOME both shifted ground and bumped together at the start and they were briefly unbalanced and settled back.
