Track: Good Track was presented in good order being groomed and well watered through out the meeting.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: WAERENGA STAR ( Udy/Cottam ) was a late scratching in race 12 at the Wanganui GRC meeting on the 9-12-2015 was represented to the Vet today under rule 81.5 with the dog being cleared of injury and is now cleared to race.
CORUBA RAGE race 9 & LITTLE DREAMS race 10 ( G Farrell ) were late scratched prior to race 6 with the permission of the Stewards due to a family emergency with the Family members required to return to their home base.
The 457m boxes had an electrical fault just prior to race 6, due to possible moisture in the system somewhere
The 457m starts were all started manually for the rest of the meeting and these will be checked and tested in the next few days.

Race 1	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C1 - 375	Racing in to the first bend JUST ABOUT READY box 1 racing handy was checked going back several lengths and almost made contact with the rail. JUST ABOUT READY soon after improved along the inner then moved outwards n midfield, early in the run home JUST ABOUT READY ran in to the hind of LADY JANE losing some momentum finishing a close up in 6th placing at the line. WAIRIO DEE JAY box 8 was forced to race wide in to the first bend when attempting to improve around runners he covered a fair amount of extra ground through out the race. RED RASCAL was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request on returning to the kennel block where he was found to have a strained right triceps muscle.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Steve and Kathy Sprint - C0 - 375	From the jump HOMEBUSH INQUIRY ran outwards as SPOTTED FLYER ran in resulting in EMBRACE ME be jostled and checked back from between them. Racing in to the first bend DRUNKEN LADY angled across bumping CORUBA CATE in on to the shoulder of SPOTTED FLYER, EMBRACE ME in behind moved in to avoid heels running on to the hind of CORUBA CATE who was checked going back on to SCOTT THE LOOT with this runner galloping on the heels of CORUBA CATE almost dragging this runner down . Both runners lost all chance as SCOTT THE LOOT ran to the outside of the track across the top bend covering a lot of extra ground, CORUBA CATE finished alongside SCOTT THE LOOT and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3	Waihou Engineering Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	Racing in to the first bend COOL FOOT LUKE on the inner was slightly hampered for a stride or so as CABELLE cut down to the rail with OUR SWIFT BUDDY angling across tightening COOL FOOT LUKE who lost ground to the rear. and was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 4	Greyhounds North Graduation Distance - C1d - 650	Racing from the start ILLICIT TWIST and BLACK DUDE angled across on to FOREVER IRIS, MONTANA and RAMAH REASON.FOREVER IRIS, MONTANA and RAMAH REASON were checked and jostled back to the rear . As the field raced in to the bend on the first occasion FOREVER IRIS was tightened going back to the rear running wide around the bend covering a fair amount of extra ground. FOREVER IRIS raced well back making ground past a tiring SEMI AUTOMATIC in the run home. FOREVER IRIS was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. SEMI AUTOMATIC was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have a grazed main pad to the left hind.
Race 5	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C3 - 375	In the run to the first bend there was jostling and bumping as ZULU MERCEDES angled across the face of SACRED CAN YOU in on to UP HIGH and BOSTON STRIKE who was pushed over on to EZ FERETTI, as BOSTON STRIKE was tightened back he caught the hind of EZ FERETTI who stumbled going sideways back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 6	Happy Birthday Penny Stakes - C1 - 457	Soon after the start OUR SAMBO and TEEMARIA came together for a stride. GLOBAL CONQUEST ( fav ) from box 2 wasn't best away racing in behind the leaders to the first bend was hampered as SPINEL angled across checking THRILLING RIOT back in on to DECEPTIVE LAD and GLOBAL CONQUEST. GLOBAL CONQUEST lost ground back to last in the running and was unable to get back in to contention there after. GLOBAL CONQUEST was referred to the Vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C2 - 375	Soon after the start there was bumping and jostling as I'M JOE BLACK ran in on to SKYLER WHITE, PEACOCK PRINCESS and JINJA LUCA ,from box 7 VINCENT GALLO angled across pushing SKINNY ANKLES across on to I'M JOE BLACK all these runners were hampered for some strides. Racing in to the bend SKYLER WHITE and PEACOCK PRINCESS were racing tightly jostling with IM' JOE BLACK attempting to race through on their outer being checked in to these runners as CALZINI from box 8 raced past angling inwards forcing IM' JOE BLACK inwards. I'M JOE BLACK, PEACOCK PRINCESS and SKYLER WHITE all came together checking losing momentum. I'M JOE BLACK raced in the rear there after and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have suffered a strained right triceps.
Race 8	Box1 Gold Sprint - C4 - 375	TEE KAY YAPPER box 1 went up wit the lids, LADY ROSE box 6 began awkwardly, BAYMAX box 4 and UMAGA RAMA came together. LADY ROSE after being awkwardly away as quickly in to stride to get away to a clear lead and was never headed there after. racing in to the first bend BAYMAX ran in to the shoulder of UMAGA RAMA in across the face of GUMBALANYA and TEE KAY YAPPER, BAYMAX went sideways for a stride or so.
Race 9	Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C2 - 457	CORUBA RAGE ( G Farrell ) was a late scratching with the Stewards permission ( refer judicial ). THRILLING CARTER after being slow away was unable to get into contention there after. MR JULES racing handy in 3rd place in the run to the first bend was checked as FORTIS FLYER angled inwards making contact with the hindquarters of MR JULES. MR JULES kept his position racing across the top bend, racing in to the home straight MR JULES drifted back through the field finishing several lengths in the rear at the line. MR JULES was referred to the Vet for assessment where he was found to have skin cuts/grazes to the left hind.
Race 10	DogZone Sprint - C4 - 375	LITTLE DREAMS ( G Farrell ) was a late scratching with the permission of the Stewards ( refer judicial ) Racing in to the first bend STYLISH FANCY angled across tightening IRISH BLUE in on to HALLO STAR and BORIS, IRISH BLUE went back bumping with SANDOR GLEGANE. SANDOR GLEGANE ran wide in to the bend and was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 11	Thank You Jaytin & Karlene Stakes - C5 - 457	Racing away from the start TEEGAMBO raced across the face of WHO DAT BOY and TAKAMORI running in to the shoulder of MELHAM bumping this runner across on to OPTIC SHIMMER. Racing in to the first bend SOLARIAN on the inner was tightened for room for a stride or so ,recovered back in to stride to race midfield weakening in the latter stages to finish towards the rear.
Race 12	YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C3/4 - 457	In the run to the first bend PREMIER OSTI box 8 raced across bumping in to BOHABA GIRL, MY FANTASY ( fav ) in behind angled across catching the heels of BOHABA GIRL, MY FANATSY ran on in forcing MULTICAM LAD in across the face of JAZZBOY JACK who went back to the rear. MY FANATASY angled out between runners racing in to the top bend going wide and being forced to cover a bit of ground to the home straight where he made ground strongly in the run home to finish close up in 4th placing at the line.
