| Race 1 | Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | SOME EXCITEMENT was slow to jump. At the jump DOOSH from the No. 2 box bumped with DEVILSKIN on his inner losing momentum. Into the turn DOOSH brushed the running rail when tightened and lost ground. On the turn SOME EXCITEMENT ran wide. |

In the run to the turn DEFINITE ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH CRASH. Into the turn CRYSTALL MCBELL ran sharply inwards colliding with DEFINITE who made contact with the running rail and lost ground. CRYSTALL MCBELL was also unbalanced as a result of this incident and lost ground checking the trailing HOMEBUSH CRASH. On the turn HOMEBUSH CRASH and DEFINITE collided and checked CRYSTALL MCBELL with these three greyhounds losing all chances. |

On the first turn PIANISSIMO ran outwards and became unbalanced when clipped from behind by OPAWA JEMAINE with the trailing FRECKLE FLYER held up and all three dogs losing ground. |

GLORY HOG shifted ground inwards checking HOMEBUSH ERROL and SAM'S FLYIN NORM with THUNDER DRAGON turned sideways when clipped from behind by SAM'S FLYIN NORM. |

On the turn ANOTHER FORTUNE ran outwards and severely checked GRAND APACHE and GET READY FREDDY who was turned sideways and checked the trailing OM NOM NOM. |
| Race 9 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310 | In the run to the turn PUKEKO THUNDER faltered when free of interference and trailed off to finish a distant last. On the turn MAGIC ARROW checked off the heels of CAR BOOTLE and lost momentum. After the race PUKEKO THUNDER was referred to the vet for assessment with the vet advising there was no evident injury but the greyhound had scarring from a previous muscle injury which may have recurred. No immediate stand down was imposed but the Stewards ordered that the greyhound must complete a Satisfactory Trial under Rule 80.1 for unsatisfactory performance which would be reviewed if a subsequent vet examination after cooling down determined that the greyhound had suffered an injury. |

Into the turn KNOW THANKS checked out off the rear of GOLDSTAR BOMBER tightening SLINGO with GO TOMMO running wide. |
