| Race 1 | DogZone Sprint - C0 - 318 | GULLY SCREAMER (1), SPOTTED FLYER (4) and ZOE'S FUNK (7) were last to leave the boxes. SPEARMINT JUJU (2) stumbled jumping away losing ground. WATCH THAT GYPSY (6) shifted in abruptly leaving the boxes inconveniencing ZIPPING SASHA (5). Soon after the start SPOTTED FLYER and SPEARMINT JUJU came together with these runners becoming unbalanced shifting in making contact with GULLY SCREAMER who was hampered losing ground. GULLY SCRAEMER shifted out rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. A post race veterinary examination of GULLY SCREAMER revealed no abnormality. SPOTTED FLYER and ZOE'S FUNK came together rounding the bend with these runners losing momentum for several strides. As a result SPEARMINT JUJU improved onto the heels of ZOE'S FUNK who became unbalanced losing ground. SPOTTED FLYER and SPEARMINT JUJU made solid contact entering the final straight with both runners unbalanced losing ground as a result. Following this event ZIPPING SAHSA was found to have a laceration to the left fore pad with the veterinarian imposing a 7 day stand down. |
| Race 2 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C1 - 318 | RED RASCAL (1), BOTANY HOLLY (6) and CONSUMATE EASE (7) were slow away. SKYLER WHITE (4) and ENGLISH HONEY (5) made brief contact soon after the start. Racing down the back straight WILD FALCON (2) shifted out into the line of FRENCH CURVES (3) who got on this runners heels for a stride becoming unbalanced making contact with SKYLER WHITE who was taken out onto ENGLISH HONEY. FRENCH CURVES and SKYLER WHITE jostled for a distance racing into the first turn with SKYLER WHITE then shifting out coming together with ENGLISH HONEY with these runners becoming unbalanced losing ground. Rounding the final bend WILD FALCON made contact with the hindquarters of PEAKNUCKLE (8) with WILD FALCON then shifting wide inconveniencing BOTANY HOLLY and CONSUMATE EASE who took evasive action shifting very wide losing considerable ground. WILD FALCON then shifted back in entering the final straight into the line of FRENCH CURVES who was inconvenienced having to steady losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Stitiches Upholstery Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | MELMAN (2) was slow away. NGAURUHOE (4) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing MULTI CHASER (3) who was checked shifting out making contact with OPAWA DARCEE (5) with these runners losing ground. NGAURUHOE then continued to shift in coming together with MR. MUMBLES (1) with these runners jostling for a distance with MR. MUMBLES losing ground entering the first turn. As a result MR. MUMBLES went back onto MELMAN with these runners then coming together on several occasions rounding the bend. Also briefly inconvenienced as a result was OPAWA DARCEE. |
| Race 4 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | TEPIRITA AMBER (1), LORD DE AIR (4) and EVA KANEVA (7) were last to leave to boxes. Entering the first turn EVA KANEVA, ASTA (6) and LORD DE AIR came together with ASTA and EVA KANEVA becoming badly unbalanced shifting out with ASTA getting on the hindquarters of EVA KANEVA for several strides with these runners almost falling losing considerable ground and their chances. Also inconvenienced as a result was BOTANY BEV (8) when these runners shifted out making brief contact with the hindquarters of BOTANY BEV. A post race veterinary examination of EVA KANEVA revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 5 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | HIRSUTE (2) and IT'S THE DREAM (4) were slightly slow away. CALZINI (5), WHERE'S CARLOS (6) and BOTANY HOT SHOT (7) came together soon after leaving the boxes. IT'S THE DREAM and WHERE'S CARLOS came together entering the first turn with IT'S THE DREAM then making contact with the hindquarters of HIRSUTE who was inconvenienced. PREOCCUPIED (1) and HIRSUTE came together rounding the bend with HIRSUTE losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C4 - 318 | LADY ROSE (1) and TONGARIRO (6) were slow away. Racing into the first bend BAYMAX (3) shifted in slightly placing LOOKS ALL GOOD (2) in restricted room. TONGARIRO was tightened and hampered losing ground entering the first turn when BIG JAMESY (7) and ROTOVEGAS RARA (8) came together shifting in and IRISH BLUE (4) shifted out contacting this runner. ROTOVEGAS RARA then raced wide for a distance. Rounding the final bend BIG JAMESY made contact with the hindquarters of ROTOVEGAS RARA becoming unbalanced shifting out. |
| Race 7 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527 | WHAT THAT DOES (4) was slow away. PLENTY OF TIME (5) began awkwardly losing ground. BILL RUSH (6), MISS VOTCHKA (7) and MONTANA (8) came together soon after the start and again entering the first turn with MISS VOTCHKA and MONTANA losing ground. BILL RUSH and WHAT THAT DOES came together rounding the final bend when held up for clear racing room. |
| Race 8 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C2 - 318 | STAINLESS KNOCKA (1), JINJA LUCA (2), SECOND TIME (3) and ACONAGUA (6) were all slow away. Entering the first turn ACONAGUA angled in into the line of JINJA LUCA who became badly unbalanced and fell. Also hampered as a result was SECOND TIME who was unable to avoid the fallen runner. Rounding the first turn ZULU MERCEDES (9) shifted out making contact with LADY JANE (8). JINJA LUCA regained its footing but did not complete this event. A post race veterinary examination of JINJA LUCA revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 9 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | TEE KAY YAPPER (5) was slow away. RASSO (2) and CORTEZ FLYER (4) came together soon after the start with these runners then jostling for some distance with RASSO losing considerable ground as a result. VON TRAPP (7) and SPEED LORDE (8) came together entering the first turn with SPEED LORDE losing ground. STYLISH FANCY (3) and TEE KAY YAPPER came together rounding the first bend. |
| Race 10 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | JETSUN QUAKER (5) and GO ANDWYN (6) came together leaving the boxes losing ground. Entering the first turn YAP'S ME MUM (1), GOLDEN IVY (2) and WINTERFELL (3) came together with GOLDEN IVY then losing ground shifting out making solid contact with GO ANDWYN who was unbalanced losing ground. Soon after LUCKY COLLECT (8) angled in coming together with WINTERFELL and YAP'S ME MUM with these three runners continuing to make contact for a distance with YAP'S ME MUM and WINTERFELL becoming tightened and hampered shifting out off the heels of LUCKY COLLECT with these runners then racing wide losing ground. WINTERFELL and LUCKY COLLECT came together rounding the final bend. |
| Race 11 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | LITTLE RASCAL (2) and ROCKIN' FANCY (3) came together on several occasions racing toward the first turn with LITTLE RASCAL losing ground. NINJANGO (5), SANDOR GLEGANE (7) and KISSEN RUN (8) came together entering the first turn with SANDOR GLEGANE and KISSEN RUN losing ground. MISS UNIVERSE (4) steadied rounding the first bend when racing in restricted room going back onto LITTLE RASCAL who was inconvenienced shifting in making brief contact with the running rail. MISS UNIVERSE and LITTLE RASCAL were referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 12 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C1 - 318 | HIGH CALIBRE (4), VIKING CRUISER (5), COOL TIME (6), AGENT SCHRADER (7) and TEPIRITA ENFORCE (8) came together leaving the boxes. COOL TIME angled in soon after the start making contact with WHO ROCKS (3) who came together with YOU BETCHA JIMMY (2) with WHO ROCKS losing ground going back onto PLAITING PUSS (1) with these runners inconvenienced. Entering the first turn WHO ROCKS shifted out off heels hampering PLAITING PUSS and VIKING CRUISER who were taken wide losing ground. Rounding the final bend TEPIRITA AVEDON (8) made contact with HIGH CALIBRE becoming unbalanced shifting out into the line of WHO ROCKS who got on this runners heels for a stride with TEPIRITA AVEDON again becoming unbalanced shifting in making solid contact with PLAITING PUSS. |
