Track: Good The track was presented in good order for the 18 races and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: J.McInerney the Trainer of ANOTHER QUEEN was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the bitch was presented 2.5 kilograms up in weight from her last start on 16.11.2015. As this was the 6th time in under 3 months that fines under this particular rule had been imposed, Mr McInerney was advised that if there were any further breaches in the near future, consideration would be given to presenting the matter before the J.C.A.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	CAWBOURNE MARCY and SCOTT NO LIMBS were awkwardly placed in restricted room going into the bend when runners drawn wider shifted in and they were checked. CAWBOURNE MARCY suffered the most and went back onto NO MORE MARMITE and they lost all chance and tailed the field to the finish. SCOTT NO LIMBS recovered well to make up ground and finished in 3rd place. CHARRINA HILL and LIL MISS NITRO were checked and unbalanced on the home turn when OUR SWIFT BUDDY moved through on their inside when going to the lead.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	EVE NING HILL shifted in from the start and hampered MALIGNED, GOLDSTAR LEXIE, GULLY YAPPA and BEE LICHTER and they were briefly unbalanced. GULLY YAPPER checked over the heels of MALIGNED going into the bend and lost two lengths and she then shifted out to race wide over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 305	BELK ROAD shifted in going into the bend and checked BUZZY GEM and JACQUI ATTACK with JACQUI ATTACK the most affected and she went back to the rear. BUZZY AS was referred to the Vet for assessment at the trainers request and found to have metacarpal pain. DANDY STAR raced handy to the lead and away from the rail on the bend and bumped with ANNIE WAY which was checked losing three lengths and she never recovered.
Race 4	J P PRINT PETONE C0 - C0 - 305	SHE'S MUSTARD was awkwardly positioned inside the hind quarters of MAGIC DANDY going into the first corner. She then checked over the back of that runner and forced PRINCESS NOVAK and SCOTT SOME TICKA very wide into the bend and they lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 5	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 520	RIKKI'S REBEL led from the start until going into the first bend where she was checked from behind and drifted back through the field to last and she stayed there for the remainder of the race. RIKKI'S REBEL was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have deltoid and thigh muscle pain.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	PEAKY BLINDER, CAWBOURNE PIRATE and MARY'S BAD BOY were slow to begin and settled back. CAWBOURNE PIRATE recovered the best of the three and made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. MARY'S BAD BOY raced very wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 520	INTO THE FRAY was awkwardly placed between COME ON MICKEY and CAWBOURNE GABLE going to the first corner and was tightened and checked losing three lengths. MEMORY LAPSE went off stride going to the first corner and drifted off the back of the field to eventually finish a distance behind the 2nd last runner. MEMORY LAPSE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have sartorius muscle pain with a 14 day stand down recommended. However, MEMORY LAPSE was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next starting in a race. INTO THE FRAY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have shoulder and lumbar muscle pain.
Race 8	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	ANOTHER QUEEN was 2.5 kilograms up in weight from her last start on 16.11.15. ( Refer to the Judicial section ) KIRKHAM HARVEY went up with the box lids and lost four lengths. LENA ALLEN shifted in going to the first corner and checked SARAH CAMPBELL and TAIKOREA LASS with SARAH CAMPBELL almost falling and she went back to last and stayed there throughout the remainder of the race. LENA ALLEN continued to shift in and a short distance further on, GOODTIME MIKE was checked and he lost three lengths.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE SATIN was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he did make up ground well throughout the race and finished in 5th place.
Race 11	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	FAIR TRADING proved difficult to load into the boxes and her boxing manners will be assessed at her next start with the view to adding her to the box first list. CLEARLY MAGIC and CAWBOURNE PAWS were the slowest to begin and they settled back. CAWBOURNE PAWS and COSMIC WARRA bumped together going into the bend and they were unbalanced losing ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 12	FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C1 - C1 - 305	DARK GARNAH and MANGAMAHU JACK were the slowest to begin losing three lengths. ALLEGRO STYLE and CHLOE'S PRODIGY jostled together going into the bend and became very unbalanced losing several lengths and all chance and they finished in the last two places.
Race 13	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 305	QUEVADO was slow away from the boxes losing three lengths. CALM NUSKA, BLAZE'S CORPORAL, BIG BEN and CAWBOURNE BIRD were all checked going into the bend and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	SNOW DEMON shifted in abruptly from the start and caused a chain reaction of movement which resulted in checks to REPEAT VISIT, DAVEY BOY SCOTT and HERE WITHOUT YOU and they settled back. They then jostled together for some distance going to the first corner, became unbalanced losing further ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 15	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	MIGHTY BA BA was checked and fell on the bend and YOUR SAY and LIZ WATTO were checked in the incident and lost four lengths. MIGHTY BA BA was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have minor bruising.
Race 16	THE DOGZONE C1 - C1 - 305	SEDGEBROOK CHARM shifted in from the start and hampered JUST YOU WAIT and HOMEBUSH TIARE for a short distance. MIGHTY TWIST and HOMEBUSH TIARE jostled together going to the first turn and HOMEBUSH TIARE was unbalanced, was unable to maintain his position and dropped back to the rear where he stayed.
Race 17	VETS ON CARLTON C1 - C1 - 305	ELECTRIC DANDY was down in weight 2.9 kilograms from his last start on 08.07.15 and this was an intentional decrease. PEDRO'S CARAT and ELECTRIC DANDY brushed together going into the first corner and then bumped which resulted in ELECTRIC DANDY being unbalanced and losing momentum. He was again hampered soon after when SMART COOKIE moved through on the inside and he finished in 2nd last place.
Race 18	BOOK YOUR XMAS LUNCH @ HATRICK WEDNESDAYS C1 - C1 - 305	OPEHU FLYER shifted in from the start and checked HOMEBUSH NARK and I'M JOE BLACK and they lost ground. I'M JOE BLACK, MINIMAL and OPEHU FLYER were checked and lost ground going into the bend. GOODTIME ALANNAH, SCOTT TO GO and HOMEBUSH NARK were unable to avoid MINIMAL and they were severely checked losing several lengths.
