| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | The start of this race was delayed due to HOMEBUSH MINION (6) proving reluctant to load into its box. HOMEBUSH MINION will be placed on the boxed first for its upcoming starts. CHILE MUSTARD (3) and GO MCINDOE (7) were both slow to begin. GRIFINATOR (4) and PROMISES MAID (8) came together and bumped in the early stages. GO MCINDOE shifted outwards rounding the bend colliding with PROMISES MAID which was unbalanced. PROMISES MAID fell shortly after when contacted from behind by the trailing CHILE MUSTARD. PROMISES MAID was examined by the Veterinaran following the event and cleared of injury. BELFAST SMARTY ran wide rounding the home bend crowding HOMEBUSH MINION, with GRIFINATOR being forced wider on the track. |
| Race 2 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Maiden Heat 1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | SHEERAN (7) was last to leave the boxes. CAWBOURNE OHIO (8) ran inwards sharply entering the first bend checking NICKY MCBELL (4) and LIGHT THAW (2), both of which lost ground. RIO ACTION (1) ran wide shortly after when crowded for room to the inside of CAWBOURNE OHIO which continued to shift ground inwards. JINJA HEART (5) was crowded rounding the final bend when awkwardly placed between FRECKLE FLYER (3) and OPAWA TRACY (6). LIGHT THAW and NICKY MCBELL were both examined by the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. Kennel representative J McInerney Jr advised that NICKY MCBELL will be restricted to sprint events for its upcoming starts. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH KAYLA (1) was presented 2.1 kilograms below its last start weight on 20 October 2015. Kennel representative J McInerney Jr advised Stewards that HOMEBUSH KAYLA had been freshened and that the decrease in weight was intentional. PASS WITH CARE (6) and KABLITZ (7) were both slow to begin. CULVIE DEN (2) and DALLAS BAXTER (3) were crowded for a short distance entering the bend when racing between HOMEBUSH KAYLA and KELLY'S BOY (5), with DALLAS BAXTER being further hampered by the trailing KABLITZ which was unable to avoid that runners heels. DALLAS BAXTER was examined by the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. PASS WITH CARE checked outwards off the heels of HOMEBUSH KAYLA in the early stages of the home straight. |
| Race 4 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Maiden Heat 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | JON SNOW LIVES (3) and AL'S ROADIE (1) were last to leave the boxes. CRONOS (8) ran inwards in the early stages colliding with HIS NIBS (7) which was unbalanced. CRONOS and OPAWA FAITH (6) came together and bumped on several occasions approaching the first bend. HIS NIBS ran wide rounding the first bend pushing JON SNOW LIVES wider on the track. AL'S ROADIE had to check entering the back straight when awkwardly placed near the heels of HAVANA STOGIE (4). |
| Race 5 | Power Farming Canterbury Dash - C0 - 295 | TIP THE BABE (8) was slow away. ANOTHER CASINO (4) checked inwards in the initial stages when awkwardly placed near the heels of JOEY BAXTER (3) which ran outwards. COSMOHOLIC (1) and ANOTHER CASINO were crowded entering the bend when in restricted room between TIP THE BABE and ELLA BAXTER (6) which ran inwards. NARITI (2) was hampered in consequence when unable to avoid the heels of ANOTHER CASINO. |
| Race 6 | Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C1 - 520 | IDOL LEANNE (7) ran inwards from the boxes briefly crowding OPAWA PEACHES (6). RAEWYN (3) ran outwards entering the first bend crowding OPAWA PEACHES which was unbalanced, losing ground. |
| Race 7 | Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295 | VAN GERWIN (5) had to check approaching the bend when awkwardly placed near the heels of KINGMAN (6) which ran inwards. WRINKLES (4) and JACK'S A JEWEL (2) jostled for a distance in the early stages, with JACK'S A JEWEL checking off that runners heels shortly after. JACK'S A JEWEL then improved up onto the heels of UNRELIABLE ANDY (8) which was hampered for a short distance, with both runners losing several lengths. |
| Race 8 | DogZone Stakes - C2 - 520 | KINLOCH ACTION (3) ran inwards from the boxes briefly crowding CAWBOURNE MIAMI (2). KNOW CLOWN (1) checked outwards off the heels of HOMEBUSH BUCK 6) entering the home straight. |
| Race 9 | Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C2 - 295 | UNO BRENT (5) had to check shortly after the start when awkwardly placed near the heels of BELLWAVE (2) which ran inwards. UNO BRENT ran inwards shortly after pushing EL GRAND SHADOW (4) down the track. EBONY FANCY (3) clipped the heel of UNO BRENT rounding the bend when in restricted room. EBONY FANCY then failed to make any discernible ground thereafter. EBONY FANCY was examined by the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. |
| Race 10 | Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C2 - 520 | KINLOCH POWER (8) appeared to strike the side of the box when beginning and dropped right out failing to finish the event. KINLOCH POWER was examined by the Veterinarian following the event which revealed shoulder pain with a 21 day stand down imposed. Entering the back straight FEKITOA (2) contacted the heel of MISS VALLEY INN (3) which was unbalanced, losing several lengths. |
| Race 11 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295 | WILL EXCITE (1), CAWBOURNE DANIAL (3) and GLENN IS GOODESY (8) were slow to begin. HOMEBUSH BRUNO (2) ran inwards approaching the bend checking WILL EXCITE which lost ground. GOOD GENES (7) ran inwards sharply entering the bend crowding CRONK WENT PLONK (5) and colliding with HARSESIS (4) which came back onto the trailing HOMEBUSH BRUNO which had to check. CAWBOURNE DANIAL ran outwards entering the home straight contacting the hindquarters of BUTTERBEAN (6) which was unbalanced. |
| Race 12 | Protexin Dash - C2 - 295 | The start of this race was delayed 1 minute at the request of TAB control. ROYAL ACTION (8) was last to leave the boxes. KYLA ROSE (3) ran inwards shortly after the start hampering NEDDY SEAGOON (2) and BILLY WEST (1), both of which lost ground. OHOKA COBY (6) ran inwards abruptly approaching the bend forcing EXPECT DELAY (4) into the line of KYLA ROSE which was severely hampered, losing ground. KYLA ROSE was examined by the Veterinarian following the event and cleared of injury. ROYAL ACTION and LITTLE MIDNIGHT (5) collided rounding the home bend resulting in both runners being unbalanced. |
