Track: Good The track was presented in good order. All equipment operated correctly throughout.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: The start of Race 5 was approx. 3 minutes late due advice of the amended start time not being passed onto the Club.
The start of Race 9 was deferred by 1 minute due to Ashburton Harness running late.

Race 1	0800 4 Down Cow Sprint - C0 - 375	ZIPPING SASHA (4) and CHOCKA ME WALLET (3) raced in restricted room entering the first turn and then lost momentum when having to check off heels shortly after. GOT TIME (2) also lost ground on the first turn when tightened by outside runners.
Race 2	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	MI TENSILE (1) had to check off the heels of FRENCH CURVES (2) entering the first turn and then was checked shortly after when racing between OPAWA PEARL (6) and MAKING YOU PAW (3). MI TENSILE then went back onto WHO ROCKS (5) and CONTEMPORANEOUS (7), which were both checked and lost ground, before finishing on strongly into 4th place.
Race 3	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C2/3 - 375	MANYANA GROPER (9) was slow to jump. JINJA LUCA (3) shifted out shortly after the start checking GUMBALANYA (5) out onto WINTERFELL (6). JINJA LUCA had to check off the heels of EZ FERETTI (8) on the home turn. IRISH BLUE (2) and MITTYESQUE (7) came together just prior to straightening for the run home with MITTYESQUE being turned sideways for several strides. WINTERFELL was briefly inconvenienced in this incident. MITTYESQUE was sent to the Vet for assessment which revealed no apparent abnormality.
Race 4	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C1 - 375	LOCKETT IN EDDIE (5) and FORTIS FIONA (6) bumped approaching the first turn with FORTIS FIONA then being checked and losing ground when DIPSY LALA (7) shifted down towards the rail.
Race 5	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C2/3 - 375	CALIFORNIA KING (3) jumped awkwardly and shifted out onto ZIPPING JACOB (4) which was forced out onto VINCENT GALLO (5). LUCKY MAN (7) then shifted in early checking VINCENT GALLO down onto ZIPPING JACOB, which lost ground. JINJA FANTASY (6) raced wide on the final bend.
Race 6	Fond Foods Ltd Stakes - C1 - 457	JETSUN LORD JON (7) shifted out shortly after the jump bumping MATALINO TWIST (8) for several strides with both runners racing wide early. ATOMIC RUSH (1) lost ground quickly on the turn and finished at the rear. ATOMIC RUSH was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no apparent abnormality.
Race 7	DogZone Stakes - C2 - 457	PLENTY OF TIME (5) and ZALIA (6) came together shortly after the jump. WINSOME DAN (1) was the slowest to begin and then had to check off the heels of ILLICIT TWIST (2) entering the turn when that runner was forced down towards the rail. ILLICIT TWIST was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no apparent abnormality.
Race 8	Box1 Gold Sprint - C4 - 375	FRESCO STAR (2) underwent a pre race veterinary examination after a small amount of blood was detected on the right fore lateral toe and was cleared to start. CALL ME BLUE (6) was slow to begin. FRESCO STAR veered inwards shortly after jumping. ARMISTICE DAY (4) was checked over the early stages when racing between RASSO (3) and TIMMY TRUMPET (5) which both shifted ground. RASSO raced wide on the final turn while STYLISH FANCY (7) was held up briefly. FRESCO STAR underwent a further veterinary examination following the event which revealed no significant abnormality.
Race 9	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C2 - 375	NO PARKING (4) angled in entering the first turn forcing BIGTIME DASHER (3) down onto SANDOR GLEGANE (2), with BIGTIME DASHER, WILD FALCON (6) and LUCKY COLLECT (7) being hampered and losing ground. MULTI CHASER (10) was inconvenienced in this incident when having to race wide.
Race 10	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C4/5 - 457	RAMPION (5) was checked on jumping when BUSTER BLUTH (6) shifted in and MELHAM (3) shifted out forcing TALKIN FANCY (4) up the track. MELHAM then shifted in bumping TEEGAMBO (2). SPANISH FANCY (6) shifted in forcing TALKIN FANCY down onto MELHAM on two separate occasions approaching the first turn. TALKIN FANCY then got onto the back of SPANISH FANCY entering the turn with both runners losing ground.
Race 11	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C1 - 457	FOREVER IRIS (4) and GLOBAL CONQUEST (5) bumped shortly after the jump with FOREVER IRIS shifting inwards losing ground. DECEPTIVE LAD (2) lost ground on the turn when having to check off the heels of GLOBAL CONQUEST. FANCY KIWI (6) was briefly held up approaching the home straight when having to check around ACAMAS (8). DECEPTIVE LAD was brought down shortly after the winning post when galloped on by FANCY KIWI. DECEPTIVE LAD was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality. An investigation was opened and adjourned sine die into Trainer S Ross presenting FOREVER IRIS without blinkers. FANCY KIWI also underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained split webbing to the lateral left fore.
