| Race 2 | KEENAN CONCRETE C0 - C0 - 305 | KENTUCKY DOLL was the slowest away from the boxes and settled back. SAMMY BAXTER shifted in going into the bend and crowded GOLDSTAR LEXIE onto KENTUCKY DOLL which resulted in both those runners being checked and KENTUCKY DOLL in particular losing four lengths. |

SCOTT NO ODDS shifted in from the start and caused checks to SCOOTER'S ROSE and SAMMY MCBELL which in turn was pushed in onto LEGGERA ROYAL. LEGGERA ROYAL was unbalanced and lost momentum for a short distance but she recovered to finish in 3rd place. |

SOLSTICE shifted in going into the first corner and collided with LIN BAXTER and they booth lost ground. DR.ROBBIE then checked over the heels of LIN BAXTER and ran wide into the bend. A short distance further on, KIRKHAM HARVEY galloped on the back of LIN BAXTER and they both lost three lengths. |

The favourite SWIFTLY CHLOE was awkwardly positioned soon after the start and settled back in the field. She then raced onto the back of TUFF DIAMOND going into the bend losing further ground and she never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 6 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305 | CASUAL SLIPPER and CAWBOURNE BRAE were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. BLAZE'S CORPORAL, ANOTHER PEARL and SPRITE ON TIME came together and bumped losing ground going into the first corner. ANOTHER PEARL was the most affected and he stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 7 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305 | PEAJAY PRINGLES, CAWBOURNE LEGS and BRILLIANT ASHLEE jostled together going to the first corner and they were unbalanced and lost ground. A short distance further on, PEAJAY PRINGLES and FIVE KAY LEG bumped together and raced a little wide over extra ground on the bend. |
| Race 8 | AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520 | CAWBOURNE SATIN and OPAWA LARRY were the slowest to begin and lost two lengths. OPAWA LARRY stayed back throughout to fiinish in 2nd last place. CAWBOURNE SATIN then made up ground quickly after the slow start but shifted out going into the first bend and bumped CANDID ANGEL out onto GOODTIME MIKE and they both lost ground and never recovered. |

| Race 10 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520 | Two of the better supported runners ABSINTHE MINDED and MAGIC WHITELOCK settled back in the field and they jostled together for some distance on the first bend and went back to the rear and they stayed there for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 11 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | HU XIAN shifted in abruptly from the start and forced WHATU TRENDY in onto CAWBOURNE TEASH and SCOTT THE LOOKS which were both hampered for a short distance and SCOTT THE LOOKS was eventually checked back to the rear. GULLY FLAHERTY was checked going int the bend and went back onto SCOTT THE LOOKS and they lost several lengths and finished at the rear. CHOCDEE ALICE and HU XIAN led on the bend but bumped together and HU XIAN lost three lengths. |
| Race 12 | FIVE STAR KENNELS AND RUNS C1 - C1 - 520 | SASHA MCBELL led down the back straight but faded going into the bend and drifted back through the field to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. SASHA MCBELL was found to have a stopper pad injury. |
| Race 13 | DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C1 - C1 - 305 | The favourite HOMEBUSH LUCIFER was very slow to begin losing three lengths. PROCRASTINATION and LAGOON FAME ran wide on the bend over extra ground. |
| Race 14 | LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305 | DAVEY BOY SCOTT, SCOTT A MOTOR, BANSHEE BOY and ALLEGRO ALL GO came together and jostled for a short distance going into the bend and were all hampered with BANSHEE BOY the most affected. However, he recovered well to make up ground and finished in 3rd place. |

WAIMAK DAVE then checked off the back of DIAMOND LULU on the bend and then bumped DIAMOND LULU when passing on her outside on the home turn. |

| Race 17 | Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305 | TUNZA FUN was very slow to begin losing four lengths. GULLY RUNNER was also a little slow away from the boxes and he then raced wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in last place. |
