Into the bend MONACO DENVER ran sharply inwards and forced NINA BAXTER downwards where she struck the running rail and lost all chance. The trailing THRILLING ECHO was also severely checked and lost all chance. Shortly after NINA BAXTER shifted ground outwards after striking the running rail and hit SALLY who became unbalanced and lost ground checking the trailing APOLLO KING. Following the race SALLY and THRILLING ECHO were subject to veterinary checks which revealed no injury to NINA BAXTER, with a spike injury to the right foot of THRILLING ECHO requiring a 10 day stand down.
