Judicial report: Handler B.Waite was issued with a warning in relation to his use of a cell phone while engaged in preparation for a race.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	LEGGERA ROYAL and VEE SINTILATING were very slow to begin losing four lengths but they recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. SCOTT NO LIMBS, SCOTT NO ODDS and STEFFI'S STAR shared the lead to the first corner but bumped together and SCOTT NO ODDS and STEFFI'S STAR went back to the rear and stayed there. LEGGERA ROYAL shifted out approaching the home turn and may have turned her head slightly towards SCOTT NO LIMBS but this could not be clearly established on the available films.
Race 2	Racing Series Novice Ht 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	PADDY THE BAKER was slow to begin and settled back. FORTIS FLYER shifted in abruptly from the start and crowded SOLSTICE, COME ON MICKEY and JOHNNYBRUCE and they settled back. SOLSTICE galloped on the back of FORTIS FLYER on the first corner and they lost three lengths. JOHNNYBRUCE checked off the back of INTO THE FRAY going into the final bend and lost two lengths.
Race 3	Racing Series Novice Ht 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	RUBBED OUT slipped behind when jumping from the boxes and she lost ground and settled back. GOODTIME MIKE and SPINE CHILLING were both checked losing ground in separate incidents going to the first corner. GOODTIME MIKE was hampered entering the back straight and shifted out forcing THAT'S KING to also race wide and they lost ground. SPINE CHILLING galloped on the back of CONSUMATE EASE on the final bend and caused that runner to go down behind and he lost several lengths. CONSUMATE EASE was classed as falling, was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Racing Series Novice Ht 3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	ABSINTHE MINDED was a little slow to begin from box 8 and settled well back but gradually made up ground throughout the race and finished in 2nd place. SASHA MCBELL, TRENDY LASS and PROTONIC PEDRO came together and jostled and lost momentum in the home straight.
Race 5	Racing Series Novice Ht 4 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4	ANOTHER SPIN and PATCHWORK ALICE were the slowest to begin from boxes 7 & 8 and they settled back. They then bumped together on the first bend losing further ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. YOU'RE SO FREE was checked going into the back straight and went back to the rear.
Race 6	Racing Series Novice Ht 5 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 5	SPEEDY FEET, CHERIES BOY and CANDID ANGEL bumped together going into the first bend and became unbalanced losing ground and they went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	Racing Series Novice Ht 6 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 6	WORBOYS was checked going to the first corner and went back to the rear and he raced a little wide on the bends and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	FARMERS FASHION IN THE FIELD C1 - C1 - 305	SCOTT A MOTOR and SCOTT TO GO bumped when the start was made and were briefly unbalanced losing ground. MAGIC GINA and PLAITING PUSS jostled together for a distance going to the first corner and were also briefly unbalanced losing ground. SCOTT A MOTOR checked over the heels of ALLEGRO STYLE on the bend and they were both hampered and lost momentum and they finished at the rear.
Race 9	FIRST SECURITY C5 - C5 - 305	SEDGEBROOK MAGIC, CAWBOURNE STEVE and MAKING TIME were the slowest away from the boxes losing two lengths and they stayed back throughout. CRANKY PANTS shifted in going into the bend and crowded ALLEGRO CHASER which lost three lengths and never recovered the lost ground.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	KIRKHAM HARVEY was slow to begin and settled back. SHEER MISS was awkwardly placed in restricted room going into the first bend and caught a heel and fell. SHEER MISS regained her feet and finished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have right tricep muscle pain.
Race 11	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	FAIR CRUZIN, SHOWEM BABY, WAERENGA STAR and BIGTIME REDFOO were engaged in jostling for some distance going to the first corner and SHOWEM BABY and WAERENGA STAR were eventually checked back to the rear. SHOWEM BABY then galloped on the back of WAERENGA STAR going into the bend and they lost several lengths and tailed the field home.
Race 12	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 305	BIG BOY DENO was the slowest to begin but secured a clear rails run and finished well for 2nd place. As runners drawn out shifted in on the first corner, ANOTHER MISS ran out of room and was checked back to the rear where she stayed until the finish.
