Track: Good The track was well prepared and the equipment operated well throughout the meeting.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: With several short gaps between races (15 minutes ) it was not possible to keep to the timetable, particular when taking into account the distance between the kennels and the starting points for the races.

Race 1	NZ Bred Maiden Sprint Heat 1 - C0q - 375 Heat 1	PRINCESS NOVAK and KING HIT MIKE were the slowest away from the boxes and settled at the rear. They were both checked losing further ground going into the bend when DARK GARNAH and FAT BOYZ FLYER shifted in and they never recovered and finished at the rear.
Race 2	NZ Bred Maiden Sprint Heat 2 - C0q - 375 Heat 2	EVE NING HILL shifted in abruptly going to the first corner and caused checks to BEN NEVIS KNIGHT and EVA'S STORM and they lost three lengths. EVE NING HILL then checked off the heels of SAMMY BAXTER on the bend and shifted out forcing BEN NEVIS KNIGHT and EVA'S STORM wide over extra ground and they finished in the last three places.
Race 3	NZ Bred Maiden Sprint Heat 3 - C0q - 375 Heat 3	MANGAMAHU JACK and HIGHWAY HOUND were tightened soon after the start and settled back. HOMEBUSH HAPPY shifted in going to the first corner and crowded CHASE ME APATCHE which was unbalanced losing ground and a short distance further on, he was galloped on by ALAMEIN HERA and checked losing several lengths. ALAMEIN HERA went off stride entering the home straight and finished the race a distance behind the other runners. ALAMEIN HERA was referred to the Vet and found to have a leg injury and CHASE ME APATCHE was also referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have general soreness.
Race 4	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C1 - C1 - 457	CAWBOURNE SATIN and DR.ROBBIE were very slow to begin losing four lengths but they recovered very well to make up ground and finished in 2nd and 4th places. GOLFING BUDDY and CAWBOURNE DALLAS jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and GOLFING BUDDY was eventually unbalanced and checked losing five lengths and all chance.
Race 5	Buck Fever At Stud C1 - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE BRAE shifted in going into the bend and caused tightening and checks to CLEARLY MAGIC, HOMEBUSH DAWN and TAIKOREA LASS and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	One of the favourites REPEAT VISIT was very slow to begin losing four lengths but she made up ground well to finish in 4th place. YOUR SAY and KIRIBATI GIRL collided when the start was made and YOUR SAY lost ground and settled back. CAWBOURNE LEGS and MR.ZAFONIC bumped together on the bend and MR.ZAFONIC was unbalanced and lost four lengths.
Race 7	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	BUNDORAN LAD was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then raced wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 5th place.
Race 8	Affordable Pet Accessories C1 - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE GIL shifted in going into the bend and bumped with TAKEAWAY which lost a length. TAKEAWAY shifted out on the bend go around WAIMAK DAVE and in doing so, caused a check to CAWBOURNE GIL which lost three lengths and he never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3 - C3 - 375	BOX OF FLUFFIES shifted in from the start and caused checks to SHINZIGZAG and CAWBOURNE SARAH and they settled back. CAWBOURNE BUTTSY and CAWBOURNE GEORGE were slow to begin from the outside boxes losing two lengths but they made up ground well out wide and finished in 1st and 2nd places.
Race 10	NZ Bred Sprint C4/5 - SPECA - 375	CAESAR CHANCE and BLUE AND CURLY began a little awkwardly and then bumped when the start was made and settled back. KERRY LANE shifted out to attempt to go around runners going into the bend and as a result, CAESAR CHANCE and BLUE AND CURLY were forced wide on the bend covering extra ground.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C2 - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	One of the favourites MALAKAI MAGIC began awkwardly losing three lengths and he then jostled with EXTREME TWIST going to the first turn and they ran wide into the bend covering extra ground and finished in the rear group. HOMEBUSH SPOOK and FAST RIGBY bumped together in the home straight, became unbalanced and drifted to finish in the last two places.
