| Race 1 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C0 - 318 | SEMI AUTOMATIC went up with the lids being last away by several lengths. Racing in to the first bend OUR MYSTRO angled inwards across the line of CHOCKA ME WALLET checking PREOCCUPIED back on to FEEL THE FORCE, VEE SCINTILATING on the inner was tightened and checked at this point. OUR MYSTRO bumped in to PREOCCUPIED going sideways for a stride or so, in behind JUMP ON IT box 8 angled in checking CHOCKA ME WALLET in on to FEEL THE FORCE these dogs tangled and fell, SEMI AUTOMATIC hurdled over FEEL THE FORCE coming down on to CHOCKA ME WALLET. SEMI AUTOMATIC was severely hampered but kept his footing somehow. FEEL THE FORCE, CHOCKA ME WALLET and SEMI AUTOMATIC all finished on to the lure and were referred to the Vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C2 - 318 | In the run to the first bend BOSTON STRIKE angled outwards bumping in to the hind of WHERE'S CARLOS. WHERE'S CARLOS angled inwards pushing BOSTON STRIKE in towards the rail. As the field raced on to the bend BOSTON STRIKE angled out between JELLY GEM and SKYLER WHITE who caught the heels of BOSTON STRIKE, both runners were hampered for a few strides. |
| Race 3 | Dogzone Sprint - C3 - 318 | Racing away from the start ROCKY BOY ran outwards in to the side of HALLO STAR pushing this runner in to the shoulder of FRESCO STAR. ROCKY BOY kept on running outwards coming together with LITTLE RASCAL as this runner angled inwards. a couple of strides on FRESCO STAR angled inwards across the face of HALLO STAR cutting this runner back, FRESCO STAR then ran in to the shoulder of JINJA LUCA. In the run down the home straight LITTLE RASCAL angled outwards in to the line of JINJA LUCA as this dog was running on, JINJA LUCA caught the hind of LITTLE RASCAL, JINJA LUCA was hampered for a couple of strides finishing on strongly in to 2nd placing at the line. HALLO STAR after being checked back to the rear was unable to get back in to contention there after. |
| Race 4 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C1 - 527 | Racing in to the bend on the first occasion HERSCHKE raced across towards the rail coming together with MATALINO TWIST bumping and checking this runner for a couple of strides. HERSCHKE lost a length or so soon after and was unable to improve out of the rear throughout. |
| Race 5 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318 | AGENT SCHRADER was a late scratching at kennelling where he was found to have pain in the left hind metatarsal joint. TRINITY FLIGHT box 6 began awkwardly fro a stride or so being last in the run to the first bend, he crossed down to the rail making good ground there after to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. ARIZONA SKY was referred to the vet at the trainers request where she was found to have a longhead triceps muscle strain. |
| Race 6 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C2 - 527 | PLENTY OF TIME went up with the lids. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion JETSUN QUAKER moved inwards tightening MANYANA GROPER for a stride or so. Racing in to the back straight MANYANA GROPER checked back off the heels of CHATEAU NEUF. racing towards the far bend MANYANA GROPER angled down towards the rail across the face of JETSUN QUAKER who caught heels went back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. |
| Race 7 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C5 - 318 | BRIGHT STAR was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be in season. In the run to the first bend SHARELLA box 3 angled outwards, SUPER ZIP ZIP box 7 raced across coming together with SHARELLA bumping and checking this runner back in behind. VON TRAPP box 8 after racing widest in to and around the top bend finished very strongly in the run home to finish in to 2nd placing at the line. |
| Race 8 | McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C2 - 318 | Turning for the run home NO PARKING caught the heels of SANDOR GLEGANE losing some momentum and a couple of lengths. Soon after the line BITA BANTER faltered and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 9 | Sunline Trophy- Artic Rouge & Rock Lass Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | Soon after the start racing to the bend on the first occasion TALKIN FANTASY ran in bumping MISS VELOCETTE. Racing in to the bend BUSTER BLUTH ran outwards bumping in to ELECTRIC IMPULSE ( fav ) forcing this runner wide, OPAWA SAM was forced to race widest around these runners. OPAWA SAM lost ground racing widest in to the back straight finishing well back at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have right longhead triceps minor tear & right deep pectoral muscle pain. |
| Race 10 | AGRC Rewards Stakes - C1 - 527 | Racing from the boxes OPAWA LOI ran in on to KITTY'S SHIRAZ. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion ATOMIC LASS bumped KITTY'S SHIRAZ outwards on to OPAWA LOI and ELEPHUNT TRUNK with these runners racing wide around the bend in to the back straight. OPAWA LOI lost ground back to the rear and was never in contention there after. OPAWA LOI was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 11 | Happy Birthday Richie Sprint - C4 - 318 | Soon after the start BECOMING PAW angled in on to ATOONGA AIR who bumped in to GOOD RETURN, MITTYESQUE box 2 ran out across the face of ATOONGA AIR coming together with BECOMING PAW, THRILLING GALAXY box 6 raced across the face of the field with MITTYESQUE catching heels and running inwards tightening ATOONGA AIR and GOOD REURN who was checked and forced inwards becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides. GOOD RETURN came out on to ATOONGA AIR as MITTYESQUE angled inwards these runners tightened and jostled for several strides losing ground. Racing on to the bend WHISPER MAGIC was hampered for a stride or so as THRILLING GALAXY crossed to the rail. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | KAPAI LANA and GO ANDWYN began awkwardly, KAPAI LANA was then tightened and checked back as LENNY MAC angled in and GO ANDWYN moved outwards. Racing in to the first bend the field was fairly bunched, JUST ABOUT READY in midfield was held up for some strides, outside of this runner TRIPLE PARKED (fav ) caught the heels of GO ANDWYN as BOHABA GIRL box 8 attempted to angle in tightening these runners KAPAI LANA ran inwards with LENNY MAC running on to her heels BOHABA GIRL, KAPAI LANA and TRIPLE PARKED ran very wide on to and around the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground with them finishing towards the rear at the line. LENNY MAC after catching heels lost ground to a clear last in the running finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where a tendon injury was found .Trainer T Agent informed the Stewards that the dog will be retired from racing as from today. CABELLE was referred to the vet at the trainers request on returning to the kennel block where a right deltoid muscle injury was found. |
