| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305 | SECOND TIME was very slow to begin losing at least five lengths but he then made up ground extremely well to finish in 3rd place. SCOTT THE LOOKS and HOMEBUSH DAWN jostled together for some distance on the bend and were unbalanced briefly. DAVEY BOY SCOTT checked over the heels of SCOTT THE LOOKS on the home turn and shifted out hampering HOMEBUSH DAWN and SECOND TIME. ANOTHER QUEEN checked off the back of CAWBOURNE MARK entering the home straight and she lost ground and finished last. |
| Race 2 | ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE SATIN and CAWBOURNE LEGS began awkwardly losing four lengths and they stayed back throughout the race. AZURE DREAMS and FIVE KAY LEG jostled together for some distance going to the first corner when racing in handy positions. AZURE DREAMS then drifted back through the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 3 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520 | CONSUMATE EASE was slow to begin and settled back where he stayed throughout the race. KIRKHAM HARVEY began awkwardly losing several lengths and was then checked going into the first bend losing further ground. He the recovered well and made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. LENA ALLEN bumped with SCOTT THE BEST when the start was made and she blundered and lost ground. LENA ALLEN was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a spike wound and a split webbing. |
| Race 4 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | MR. ZAFONIC was slow away from the boxes losing two lengths. CASUAL SLIPPER chec ked off the heels of LAGOON FAME going into the bend and dropped back onto the line of KAISER MAX and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 5 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305 | EMBEE DEE proved difficult to load into the boxes and held the start up briefly. The Handler was spoken to advisedly and the Club Management were also spoken to in relation to the Starter receiving some tuition in assisting to box difficult dogs. PIXIE DUST began very awkwardly losing several lengths. MCJOPSON and FUNKY FREDDIE jostled for some distance going to the first corner and MCJOPSON suffered the most and lost several lengths. BLITZING FLYER checked off the back of EMBEE DEE going into the bend and lost two lengths. |
| Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE C2 - C2 - 305 | SERVE YA PURPOSE shifted out going into the bend when sharing the lead and continued to jostled with WHATU TRENDY for some distance until they eventually lost ground. SERVE YA PURPOSE, SHOWEM BABY and WHATU TRENDY then jostled together on the turn and in the home straight and all three were unbalanced losing momentum. GULLY FLAHERTY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have pain in the right superficial and deep pectoral muscles. |
| Race 7 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 305 | The favourite KAPUTSKI was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then shifted out to race wide covering extra ground and he finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 8 | DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | EMPTY BANK, BIG BOY DENO and NO TIME YET were the slowest to begin and settled back. EMPTY BANK was laying out from the rail going into the bend and caused checks to herself and also BIG BOY DENO and NO TIME YET and they lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in the last three places. |

| Race 10 | FIRST SECURITY C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | Two of the better supported runners ANOTHER HABIT and SEGEYARO got back in the early running with SEGEYARO being caught out wide and ANOTHER HABIT being awkwardly placed in restricted room and they were unable to make up ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 11 | AON CPF C5 - C5 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK MAGIC was one of the slowest to begin and settled back. He then checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE STEVE going to the first corner and went back and out onto TONGARIRO and MAKING TIME and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. AL'S GIRL was handy going into the bend but was bumped and unbalanced when CRANKY PANTS moved through on the inside and she lost three lengths. |
| Race 12 | MELBOURNE CUP RACING @ HATRICK TUESDAY 3RD NOVEMBER C4 - C4 - 305 | BLUE AND CURLY began awkwardly losing three lengths but he recovered well to make up ground for 3rd place. HAPPY WIFE shifted away from the rail going into the bend and forced SERENA ROSE onto the line of ALLEGRO MASTER which became awkwardly placed in restricted room and went back to the rear. HAPPY WIFE continued to shift out onto SERENA ROSE and WHATS UP GEE which was racing on the outside was checked and fell. He regained his feet and finished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment, was found to have general bruising. |
