Judicial report: 1) Trainer L Ahern admitted a breach of Rule 69.11 and was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after SKUZI weighed in 1.8 kgs below its last race weight on 16 October. 2) Handler P Schofield was reminded of her obligations to obey the directions of the Starter when parading prior to a race.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	CAWBOURNE DANIAL (7), SKETCHY STEVE (6) and GUMP'S THE NAME (5) were all tightened in the early stages after PEYTON SAWYER (3) had run outwards and SCREW AND BOLT (8) shifted down the track. SCREW AND BOLT was dragged down for a stride into the bend and lost momentum. PEYTON SAWYER angled outwards on the bend causing SCREW AND BOLT to be checked and GUMP'S THE NAME to be forced wider on the track.
Race 2	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	WILLIS (2) and OPAWA DIESEL (8) were the last pair on jumping and then collided for a stride soon after. LOCHINVAR IMPACT (3) shifted outwards in the early stages pushing BORIS (5) on to KNOW CHEERS (6). Into the first bend HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (7) ran inwards and was checked as BORIS contacted its hind quarters. kNOW CHEERS raced wide on the first bend.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	KNOW PRIDE (1) was a stride slow to jump. WRINKLES (3) and HOMEBUSH BRUNO (4) dropped to the rear in the early stages. WEARS THE GOLD (8) raced wide around the home turn.
Race 4	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	KNOW VALUE (7) and BORN TO BOOM (8) were the last pair on jumping. CAN'T CATCH TIM (6) shifted outwards in the early stages hampering KNOW VALUE and BORN TO BOOM for a few strides. Into the first bend BORN TO BOOM ran inwards causing tightening to CAN'T CATCH TIM, OPAWA STRETCH (5) and KNOW NEGLECT (9) which all lost ground. KNOW VALUE was forced wide in this incident. OPAWA STRETCH and CAN'T CATCH TIM were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormality.
Race 5	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 3 - C5q - 520 Heat 3	IZZEY BALE (8) was last to jump. Into the first bend CHASING THE LINE (10) galloped on the hind quarters of TINA (2) with both runners falling. GOLD CLASS (3) and KNOW ANSWER (6) were both forced very wide as a result of this incident. SPUD MISSILE (5) shifted outwards in the home straight checking TRUST ISSUES (4) for a stride. Both fallers were referred to the vet for assessment with CHASING THE LINE found to have shoulder soreness.
Race 6	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 4 - C5q - 520 Heat 4	This race was delayed by 1 minute at the request of Raceday Control. ALLMENDINGER (7) was last to jump. MAGIC EMILY (4) and JOE JOE (3) collided in the early stages and dropped to the rear. Into the first bend WINSOME JENNY (6) ran inwards causing LONESOME NITRO (5) to be checked and run outwards with ALLMENDINGER being badly checked. Closer in KNOW DECISION (2) appeared to brush the rail for a stride in this incident. JOE JOE then ran outwards on this bend losing ground. KNOW DECISION and ALLMENDINGER were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 7	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 5 - C5q - 520 Heat 5	BENJAMIN BLACK (8) was last to jump with KNOW DANGER (5) also settling well back. CAWBOURNE KENNY (6) was tightened in the run to the first bend and lost ground after TAKAMORI (7) had run inwards. KNOW LAPSE (9) checked outwards into the first bend pushing VARGA FROST (3) wider on the track with KNOW DANGER briefly inconvenienced in behind. CAWBOURNE KENNY angled outwards on the first bend placing BENJAMIN BLACK and KNOW DANGER in restricted room. KNOW DANGER raced wide in the back straight.
Race 8	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 6 - C5q - 520 Heat 6	KAREN'S MAGIC (3) and UNTRACEABLE (8) were the last pair on jumping. MELHAM (1) was tightened into the first bend and ran outwards covering extra ground. UNTRACEABLE also ran wide around the first bend. KNOW SCHOLAR (2) raced wide in the back straight.
Race 9	Fast Archer At Stud Sprint - C3 - 295	SPRINKLES (8) weighed in 2.2 kgs above its last race weight in its first run for 3 months with the kennel advising that this was planned. HARDEN FASTER (6) was awkwardly away and was a clear last at the jump. INCREASING (3) was tightened by HOMEBUSH ZIPPY (4) into the bend with INCREASING running outwards checking HOMEBUSH SLINKY (5) and the trailing HARDEN FASTER. BUTTERBEAN (2) and SPRINKLES jostled for some strides on the first bend.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 7 - C5q - 520 Heat 7	KIRKHAM JACK (6) and ROADWORKS (8) were the last pair on jumping. CHIPPA LATA (3) angled outwards into the first bend checking FROST YOURSELF (5) and ROADWORKS with KIRKHAM JACK being forced very wide. DREAM COLLECTOR (4) and FROST YOURSELF brushed together for a stride on the first bend. FROST YOURSELF and ROADWORKS came together late in the run home when this pair were well back. After viewing the available videos of the home straight Stewards could not conclusively prove that any marring occurred before the finishing line. Trainer C Weir was show the films and advised Stewards that the connections would be reassessing the racing future of FROST YOURSELF.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup Heat 8 - C5q - 520 Heat 8	BOSTON BILLY (2) ran outwards into the first bend causing tightening to KNOW JINX (4) and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (8) with BREAKING MAD (6) and BOTANY KEVIN (7) being forced wide. BREAKING MAD and BOTANY KEVIN collided on the first bend. BREAKING MAD angled outwards at the end of the back straight forcing ROLEX ROO (5) wider with BOTANY KEVIN receiving a check. BREAKING MAD then checked outwards off the back of ROLEX ROO on the home turn and lost ground.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	DREAM LARGE (3) was last to jump. TERRA MONDO (5) and CAWBOURNE JELLY (6) bumped together in the back straight. CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (2) ran outwards into the bend pushing SPIDER GIRL (7) over extra ground. CAWBOURNE JELLY ran wide around the home turn.
